From New York Times and USA Today bestselling romance author Jean Oram…
One sexy, burned out billionaire. One spitfire graduate. One small island.
Connor MacKenzie has it all—complete with the penthouse and massive corporation. At least that’s what everyone believes. But underneath it all, his life is disintegrating faster than a stock market crash.
When Connor’s doctor forces him to take … crash.
When Connor’s doctor forces him to take it easy and go deep into the Canadian Muskokas for some much needed R&R he lands on an old cottage veranda which lacks the luxuries he’s accustomed to. Maya Summer, a recent business grad, has been waiting for opportunity to come a knockin’ and not only has it arrived on her doorstep, but it’s presented itself in a very sexy package. However, despite Maya’s best advances and proposals, Connor’s strict new “no-work diet” has them both starving for much more than than just business.
Can Maya convince Connor to let her be his new right-hand business gal while gaining enough income to save her family’s cottage? And will Connor, the workaholic, be able to resist her charms, both in and out of the boardroom?

Good easy read.
The storyline was great but what I loved most about this book was the undercurrent of messaging about how relationship building and personal connections are key to success in business. Maya struggles so hard to understand this and as a resume writer and career coach, I constantly teach this to my clients.
She says: “I know, okay? I suck at making connections in the business world. I know, I know. I’m too impatient. I want to get stuff done and people want to bond. You don’t have to say it, the universe is already saying it loud and clear.”
To some, it is such a difficult lesson. Maybe I should make this novel assigned reading to my leaders and executive clients.
I really enjoyed the characterization in this book. Maya was a strong heroine who knew exactly what she wanted and went after it. Connor was burnt out to the point of physical exhaustion, and the author portrayed this really well. There were a few issues that could have been avoided if the characters had communicated better about things, but on the whole, this was a book I couldn’t put down, especially after I passed the halfway mark and the action ramped up.
So cute!! Great author!! Great books! This is one of hers that stands out to me!
Who does Maya Summer think she is? Did billionaire Connor MacKenzie really just stumble into her lap like a broken down old man? When Maya is hired to help Connor recover from a stress related medical stupor, she has no idea what she’s getting into. Her cottage on a remote island in Ontario, Canada is full of fairy dust. The ending to this story by Jean Oram is one that I’d prefer to see, let the reader assume what they might. Not sure why author choose two titles though, you may find this under the title of “Falling for the Boss” or “Love and Dreams.”
A business man burned out meets girl who wants to work. Story ups an downs turns into both business and romance
Oram proves sweet can be sexy. I am loving getting to know the Summer sisters. Although their hearts may be in the right place, more often than not their intentions get lost trying to make their plans into reality. But the mischief is part of their charm and I love that about them. What’s a little less perfect, when it comes to having a good heart? Maya and Connor are proof that there is no perfect. Just when you think you have life figured out, it throws you a curveball. For them a crazy little thing called love. They may have went about it all wrong but it turns out being just right. Oram and Moyen put the fun back in funny with their heartwarming collaboration.
Really lame
Fun story of a CEO who escapes the busy daily rush of his life, so he can chill or possibly have a stroke…. Meets a women seeking business clout but has no experience. Great setting on an island in Canada.
This is the second book in the Summer Sisters series and it continues the tradition with Maya finding her other half. Connor needs a break from his fast paced life and destiny lead him to Maya. The characters in this series are great and the story is fun and keeps you wanting more. It is great to visit the Summer sisters and I look forward to the next book in the series.
A female who is strong AND good with figures! Great!!
Set aside the real world and enjoy this romp that had elements which reminded me of pretty woman. 3rd in a series, it was a fun read. Not credible, but fun to set aside credible for an entertaining whistful story.
Easy to read and lots of romance!
Fun and different. The characters are a bit ADD, with thoughts and emotions all over the place, but it works.
Great
A wonderful continuation of the story of the Summer sisters and then trying to save their family summer home. Maya went to business school, studied hard, made good grades and graduated top of her class. But getting a job is hard because she doesn’t have any work experience. Conner needs time off because he has run himself ragged. He takes two weeks off at Trixie Hallow and gets a whole lot more.
The heat level was slow fizzle, but I liked the characters so much.
I did not like the book at all
Maya and Conner’s story was wonderful. It was sweet, heartwarming and fun. The banter between the two had me laughing. Maya and Conner are so much a like that they are continuously challenging each other. What starts of as just a business relationship blossoms and grows into respect and Love.
Through their journey they both learn to slow down and enjoy the beauty of life. Conner gets in touch with his inner self and Maya learns how to connect with people.
I enjoyed their story and look forward to the next book.

Love and Dreams: A Billionaire Tycoon Sweet Contemporary Romance
The Summer Sisters Tame the Billionaires Series, Book 2
By: Jean Oram
Narrated by Vanessa Moyen
How can Maya raise her share of the money to save their home on the island? Rent it to a tired, delirious billionaire who may be able to give her a job! Connor is in need of some rest and relaxation. Not because he wants to take off from work, but his doctor has told him, he is the prime candidate for a stress related heart attack or stroke! He finds himself at Trixie Hollow, unable to keep his eyes open, in the worst shape a man can be. Maya is his assistant for the next 2 weeks, but what she finds out will change both their lives. I loved this book. Jean Oram has done it again! She has given us Connor, a man with huge amibition that has reached his limit. He has to learn to slow down and take care of himself. He has met his match with the fully loaded Maya.Their connection is strong and not just sexually. But is there enough to keep them going? And will business get in the way of pleasure? Give this gem a listen to. You will fall in love with Connor and Maya as well as Trixie Hollow.
Vanessa Moyen continues the narration of the series with her talents. She has a great pace and flows right into the personalities of the characters. I enjoyed her performance.
Why it’s important to leave the rat race to the rats. Apparently, Maya and I have a lot in common. From snap decisions often based on gut instincts to a deep and abiding confusion over why connecting with people is so necessary, I loved Maya every step of the way. Connor left me baffled a lot of the time. I couldn’t grasp how he could be so clueless as to ignore all the warning signs his body was sending. And he frustrated the daylights out of me when he refused to listen to Maya’s concerns about his latest deal. I adored where this book got to in the end, but some of the steps it took getting there left me gnashing my teeth. I also enjoyed getting the chance to see the other Summer sisters from Maya’s perspective after having seen Hailey’s in the previous book.
