A nurse in Providence, Paige Foster never once considered purchasing a ticket to the Helping Hands Bachelor Auction. But when Aunt Bebe invites her along, she accepts, expecting nothing more than an enjoyable evening with her favorite aunt. Aunt Bebe has other plans though. By the end of the evening Paige finds herself the proud owner of four romantic dates with Scott Belmont, President Warren … Sherbrooke’s nephew.
Lately billionaire Scott Belmont doesn’t have time for a social life, never mind a bachelor auction. Regardless, when his mom asks him to take part in the fundraising event, he agrees. Scott assumes he’ll take the winner on a few dates and then dismiss her from his mind. Then Paige Foster walks on stage to claim him.
Scott is not at all what she expects. Before she realizes it he’s made his way into her heart. But Paige has a secret, one she fears might send Scott walking.
From the beginning Paige intrigues him and soon Scott finds himself in love. But when an ex-girlfriend reenters his life asking for help, their new relationship is put to the test.
Falling For The Billionaire is the ninth book in USA Today best selling author Christina Tetreault’s The Sherbrookes of Newport Series. While it can easily be read as a standalone story, you’ll likely enjoy reading the other books, too.

I recommend it.
I just liked the whole storyline. Could not put it down
I loved that her Aunt bought her a man at an auction and it all worked out. That was pretty fun!
I couldn’t finish this one. I did not like that the narrative just dropped off and picked up days later. One page they are at Fenway Park the next page its a week later. It made for disjointed reading. Paige as a character has an interesting back story but her internal dialogue when Scott opens her car door was a bit much and that pushy independent nature carried on and off throughout the book. I think as women we can enjoy those little bits of chivalry yet still be independent. I liked Scott more than her and didn’t feel as if he deserved her. In the end, I decided my TBR pile is very big and that this was one that could go by the wayside in favor of something else.
I am a C. Tetreault fan. I have enjoyed other stories based upon a Bachelor Auction by various authors. This is a fun one with an interesting couple of twists: Her family history; and his former girlfriend’s surprise. I really enjoyed this story. I liked the characters. I was willing to stretch credibility a couple of times.
I like the concept of the story. Scott was a terrific character, but it was hard to understand what he saw in Paige. She was rather unlikeable. Story was also disjointed. It skipped ahead when I didn’t realize a scene was ended. Needs better editing.
I haven’t read all of the books in the series to this point but of the ones I have read I liked them. Scott and Paige are adorable together and how they met was hysterical. With a couple ups and downs they make an awesome couple and addition tot he others within the large family. Nice to get updates on the other families.
Falling For The Billionaire by Christina Tetreault is book 9 in The Sherbrookes of Newport Series. This is the story of Scott Belmont and Paige Foster. I haven’t yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book. Paige is a busy Nurse who is trying to spend time with her Great Aunt Bebe. Aunt Bebe talks her into going to the Helping Hands Bachelor Auction. If that isn’t enough, her Aunt makes her place a bid on one of the bachelors. Scott’s mother helped outwith the Helping Hands Bachelor Auction so of course she wanted him to take part in this auction. Scott is a busy man but he gave in to help his mom which lead him to meet the beautiful Paige. Both are busy so their dates are slow to come around but they do talk which leads to them getting to know each other so much better. But somehow the past comes forward to the front possibly causing them issues. Enjoyed their story.
Thoroughly enjoyed.
Quick recap. Paige wins four dates with Scott due to her aunt and his mom putting him up for auction.
What I liked?
Gray characters that are surprisingly relatable.
Well done.
Purchased.
Wonderful book! I read it in one sitting and couldn’t wait for what happened next in the story. I haven’t read the whole series but now I want to go back and read the rest. You will love this book.
I like this series so much! The family dynamics are actually closer to normal than one finds in most books nowadays. It seems like authors are feeling compelled to throw in so many stumbling blocks and secrets or communication fails that it is just so refreshing to read a book where the relationship develops along realistic lines. The characters of Paige and Scott were very believable. This is a feel-good book all the way through!

I received a complimentary ARC – early release copy of this book in Kindle format from the author for review purposes.
So I have only read this author once before and it was many years ago. I saw this book to review and was intrigued. But it was an okay read.
My first issue with the book is I felt the two had no real passion. I like hot scenes and this story did not have that. Scott was a great character and Paige was as well. But they never got angry or fought or kissed crazily. They were both extremely sedate. They had some fun dates, many at home and I just did not feel their connection at all.
Then the other woman comes onto the scene and I beyond hate this type of storyline. I don’t want to give it away but the synopsis of the story makes you think its a favor for a friend. But its not. Lets just say thats its a complication from a past relationship and it went where I hate it when books do this.
I did read the whole story and Scott and Paige are sweet together and it ends in a great way. BUt I just hated the plot twist in this story and I wanted more emotions from Paige and Scott.

Paige couldn’t believe she was at the bachelor auction for charity. Aunt BeBe had bid on someone using Paige’s paddle she wins a date with Scott Belmont. They went on their first date to a restaurant she wanted to go to for awhile. She couldn’t wait to see the Firecracker show in Providence. Scott was trying to learn more about Paige that evening they spent together. Things were progressing great between him and Paige he realized he loved her and she loved him. Scott’s Ex has been calling him to get together She wanted to tell him something. His ex girlfriend shows up at his apartment right when Paige and Scott were having dinner. She then dropped a bombshell and Paige was taken back at the news
Scott and Paige are an intriguing couple in this delightful story. When Paige’s attends a charity auction with her aunt, her life changes. Scott is unlike any man she met and the more time they spent together, the stronger their bond became. Everything is going well until his ex gives him some disturbing news. Will it bring an end to the beautiful relationship he was building with Paige? This is a page turner you will not want to put down.
