I’ve had a crazy, forbidden crush on James McMahon for years. And now I’m actually falling for him…Coming home for Thanksgiving means catching up with old friends and overindulging on pecan pie.Not falling for your friend’s dad.I’ve tried ignoring my feelings, but when he picks me up from the airport for the long weekend, every instinct I’ve tried to suppress comes storming back.James is the … storming back.
James is the man I ache for, crave, want to be my first. Big and powerful. Older, experienced, with icy blue eyes and a hungry grin that makes me melt inside.
But now that we’re alone together, he’s looking at me like he never has before. He’s noticing my new curves.
Mention of another guy brings out his possessive side. It’s a side of him I’ve never seen before.
And I can’t believe how much I love it.
Now James is telling me I’m his. That I belong to him. That once he has me, he’s never letting me go.
But he’d never really cross that line with me…would he?
Please enjoy this steamy romance! This book is part of the “Hometown” series but each is a stand-alone and the books can be read in any order. Happy reading! 🙂

1:Hate IT! Didn’t finish; usually only given if/when some contents truly objectionable (i.e. main characters does something awful & gets away w/it!)
2:Don’t like IT! Rating means I felt the writing was poor, editing was bad, I don’t care for characters, or book had some major flaw.
3: I like IT, BUT! There are minor issues… Rating means there’s editing issues, needs character development, is too unrealistic, or has issues– I do not consider it an overall bad rating.
4:I like IT a lot. Great, Solid Story w/ few if any inconsistencies or errors. This is a HIGH Rating, & I rarely give OUT a Higher Rating.
5: I LOVE IT! It’s Spectacular, & I’ll read IT Over & Over Again. Few books Receive this rating from me. HowEver, those that DO become Classics.
I really loved this book. The characters were awesome and well developed. Whitney and James were great together. Loved how they got together. Figuring out their relationship was a lot easier than they seemed to think it would be. A little angst, but it resolves in a great way. Loved the happy ever after. Definitely recommend reading this book. You will love it!

Will they be thankful for more than the pecan pie
James definitely wants to eat more than turkey and pecan pie this Thanksgiving and Whitney seems to have be his menu choice. But will he be able to as she is his daughter’s best friend and he has seen her grow up, and boy how she has grown up and filled out this past year at college. Whitney has had a crush on James for years. This year he is divorced and she is of age.
Will James and Whitney be able to come together and really be thankful this Thanksgiving? Or will they have to settle for that delicious pecan pie?
I am going to say that the book could use some good proofreading but if you are able to get past this then you should enjoy this book.
