Let’s say you’re an independent, self-sufficient woman who runs the family company and you find yourself falling for your little brother’s best friend. Now, more than ever, you need to count all the reasons why you need to abandon falling.Abandon Falling #1 – He’s a womanizer. Hasn’t had a serious relationship a day in his life and changes women more often than he changes his sheets.Abandon … changes his sheets.
Abandon Falling #2 – He’s never serious. He cracks one-liners, mostly at your expense.
Abandon Falling #3 – When things go wrong, he seems unfazed and always remains in control. It’s so annoying.
Abandon Falling #4 – He has tattoos. Lots of them. Everywhere. Not to mention, he owns a tattoo parlor. (Damn it! Why doesn’t that sound like a bad thing anymore?)
Abandon Falling #5 – There’s a growing list of how different you two are. You can’t get along for fifteen minutes—a lifetime together would land one of you in prison.
Keep repeating those reasons and drown yourself in work. Pretend you don’t notice his good qualities or how enticing he looks without a shirt, and do not, I repeat, do not agree to live with the man while your place is being repaired from flood damage.
Trust me, even the strongest of us can only forego temptation for so long.

I’ve been looking forward to this book for forever (okay, slight exaggeration). I did enjoy it overall. I’m giving it 4.5 out of 5 stars. This review is for an ARC, and reflects my honest opinion.
Savannah was pretty high strung, Type-A, and a perfectionist from what we’ve seen of her, so naturally I felt like I related to her the most of all the Bailey siblings we’ve gotten to know in depth. I was excited for her to let loose, and fall for her brother’s best friend finally. I did like her character, but honestly she was pretty oblivious to what was right in front of her. I wasn’t here for that, and wanted her to get with the program already haha.
Now onto Liam. The way he made Savannah come alive, and realize she didn’t have to live for everyone else was amazing. I can’t get over him; he’s going on my book boyfriend list for sure! Plus the descriptions of him have always intrigued me. A hot tattooed guy with muscles who likes to ride motorcycles plus has his stuff together? I volunteer as tribute!
There was a slight enemies-to-lovers kind of vibe going on since they were bickering and pushing each other’s buttons for most of the time they’ve known each other, but honestly they weren’t enemies. Mostly this was focused on the following tropes: opposites attract, brother’s best friend, and also age gap with an older woman. I also loved how Liam was already a part of the family, even if it wasn’t by blood. I’d missed The Baileys, and I was so happy to be back in their world. I can’t wait for the next book in this series!
4.5 Stars
I’ve been waiting for this book in the series. Liam and Savannah had me intrigued through out the previous books in the series. The wait for this one was so worth it. Liam and Savannah sucked me right into this book. Liam has a lot of swoon worthy moments. He’s perfect for Savannah because he appreciates and can coax the person she is trying to suppress. I love the Bailey’s so much. I so enjoy getting to see the siblings that already had their books enjoying their HEAs especially Rome. He still melts my heart. I can’t wait for the next book because the end of this one has a great set up for it. Plus there is one part the left my squealing with happiness because I can’t see where it goes. This is a must read for sure!!
I was very quickly lost in Savannah and Liam’s journey! Savannah hasn’t had an easy life. Liam has known her for years and has been attracted to her as well. He has picked up on things over the years and he notices when things aren’t right for Savannah. He wants to show her things, both in and out of bed! I enjoyed the chemistry between this couple and the history between them. And due to her brothers they certainly didn’t rush into anything. But I loved the ease they had between them and that passion was simmering beneath the surface. I could have touched it! This book made me smile and swoon and I couldn’t read it fast enough! Do yourself a favor and don’t miss Savannah and Liam’s story!
Falling For My Brother’s Best Friend is the fourth book in The Baileys series and it’s the first book I’ve read in this series, it can definitely be read as a standalone even though I’m regretting not reading the first three books because I’ve fallen in love with the Baileys siblings!
Savannah and Liam’s story is VERY bumpy but also very funny! I don’t know why but I was expecting a different story after reading the synopsis, I wasn’t expecting an enemies to lovers story, sort of mixed with friends to lovers, and I was pleasantly surprised by it.
Liam is Savannah’s younger brothers, Rome and Denver, best friend, he’s 5 years younger than her and he has a huge crush on her since he was a teen. Thing is Savannah is unattainable and completely out of his league or so he thinks…
Savannah had to take on huge responsibilities when she was only 19, she never regretted it but somehow she lost herself in a sea of never ending calls and fires to put out, she’s an amazing business woman, a great sister and yet she struggles with her fears and her own identity.
I loved the banter in this book, not just between Liam and Sav but also between the siblings. There were moments when Liam and Sav’s behavior annoyed me, yet I still found most of their bickering funny. There were moments that got me a little worried because sometimes it almost felt like they were bringing the worst in each other, which turned out not to be the case thankfully. I laughed a lot with some scenes, especially every time Sav’s grandmother showed up, but there was also a lot of emotion in the second part of this book. The Baileys siblings suffered a heavy loss when Sav was 19 and I really loved how the story between Liam and Savannah also showed us how that loss impacted their lives and changed their personalities. I also loved Liam and Sav’s chemistry, even though at the beginning they were also behaving like small children, their chemistry was off the charts and there were so many feelings! Sav’s tattoo story is one of my favorite moments, it’s beautifully written and it’s so emotional that I found myself hurting along with Savannah and Liam, in addition it’s a perfect example of even though Sav wasn’t ready for Liam at that time, she did trust him with something that meant so much to her and we got to see how he was so in sync with what Sav needed and wanted. I was completely engaged in this book and I wanted more from the epilogue which felt a little rushed. Anyway, it was a very enjoyable, emotional, witty book that had me captivated. I’ll try to read more books in this series because I loved so many characters in this story, therefore I definitely recommend this book.
Loved it!
“My shortened name drips off his tongue like ice cream from a cone on a hot day, and I react like that drip, free-falling to the ground.”
Savannah Bailey is the second eldest Bailey sibling. She’s had a lot of responsibility on her shoulders since she was barely out of her teens. The pressures of adulthood, helping to raise her numerous younger siblings, and being CEO of the family business has taken its toll on her. She’s no longer the young, carefree girl of her youth.
“All I know is I’m exhausted from fighting whatever is happening between us. My arm is weak from holding you back.”
Liam Kelly has been infatuated with his best friend’s older sister since he was a young teen. He’s had his fair share of women but Savannah is his dream, and he’s always wanted her to see him as more than her brother’s friend. He can see how her family take her granted and he’s convinced that beneath her uptight, stressed exterior is the fun girl he used to know, and he’s about to show Savannah how to bring her out again.
Savannah and Liam had explosive chemistry. The push-and-pull between them was incendiary. They were either going to burn each other or explode into something beautiful. Savannah was an incredibly strong woman and I could see how everyone in her family relied on her, yet were blind to her basic need for love and companionship. She was crying out for someone to lean on, for someone to carry her and her load sometimes. I loved how well Liam understood her and ‘saw’ her. I loved his patience and thoughtfulness. Their story was gorgeous, fiery, and heartfelt. Loved it!
Oh how i have missed these Bailey’s! It’s like coming home when I read their stories.
This one is Liam and Savannah’s story and its one we have been teased with for a while and this talented duo did not let us down with it.
I seriously loved Liam, he was so sweet and made me swoon. He had such a huge heart. He is determined to bring the fun back into Savannah’s life after all the burdens she has shouldered since her parents died. In helping raise her siblings she has lost a piece of herself. The only one who really saw her was Liam as he had been in love with her since he was 14 despite her being 5 years older then him.
The connection between Liam and Savannah is off the charts hot even when they are trying to fight it. Throw in the other Bailey’s plus Piper Rayne’s trademark wit and heart, and you have a addictive story that will hold you captive from beginning to end.
The book everyone’s been waiting for!
We finally get to read the story of Savannah and Liam. After all those little teases in the previous Bailey Books I was more then excited to get my hands on this one!
I was happy to discover all the different characteristics about these two. Savannah was always so put together and in control in the previous books (let’s just forget the accident with Holly’s father..) which made it that more interesting to see her other side and to know what’s going on in her head. And Liam, I mean, even before this book you already had a thing for him, right? And then to find out how deep his feelings and his understanding about Sav are.. damn.
Not only about the love story, the book is also about finding yourself and what you want for you future, and of course about family, i mean, it is a Bailey book!
Even tho this book was so much different then what I was expecting, it was so much better!
Another H-O-T Bailey couple! Ashley @ Carolina Chic’s Read
Savannah had to grow up faster than she should have with the death of her parents and she has not ever let herself enjoy life since that time. Liam the best friend of the younger brothers and the one that used to be able to make her smile. When Grandma Dori medals you know you can’t fight the feeling that are there! Can these two find themselves will falling for each other? This is one great love story and each sibling’s book gets better and better! Can’t wait for the next Bailey book!!!
I can’t get enough of this series!
It drove me crazy waiting for the next book but boy did Savannah and Liam’s story deliver! It was so worth the wait! Their story is so well written. The pace was perfect and I devoured every page.
Savannah and Liam’s chemistry is hot and undeniable, it just takes awhile for everyone to get on the same page. On the surface, they couldn’t be different. They say opposites attract, but can opposites be too opposite? Savannah is five years older than Liam and is the most stressed person in Lake Starlight. She is always focused on everyone else, her siblings, the family business, and she never takes time for herself. That is, until Liam.
Watching Liam help Savannah find more of the person she was before her parents died and she had to take care of her younger siblings, was so sweet and charming! He showed how much she cared about her even when it wasn’t easy and she constantly pushed him away. He truly is the perfect man for her in every way.
I love the Bailey family so much and I’m so excited that there are 5 more books in this amazing series! I can’t get enough!
Grateful to have received a complimentary ARC copy to honestly review.
I love getting more Baileys! You guys, seriously, if you haven’t jumped onto the Bailey Bandwagon yet, you don’t know what you’re missing.
I think this one might be the one we’ve all been waiting for. I know Liam Kelly is the one I’ve been waiting for. This man is stellar! You think you have him figured out – town bad boy, sexy tattoo artist. But Liam is so much more than the beautiful package he’s wrapped up in and he’s nothing like you think. His personality, his heart, his charisma, his charm – all of his amazing qualities blend together to make the most amazing man.
Savannah was harder for me to insta-love. I’ve adored her from the beginning of this series. She’s tough, smart, business-minded, and a little too focused on being a people-pleaser. I think at times, that last trait gets her into more trouble, especially where Liam is concerned. But watching her from beginning to end of this story will cement your adoration for her. She’s fantastic.
I’m telling you, there’s never a dull moment with the Bailey family. Liam is definitely my favorite non-Bailey (right alongside Wyatt) and I can’t wait to see more of them through the rest of the series. And in true Piper Rayne fashion (I sound like a broken record but I can’t say this enough) they set up the next book perfectly. I can’t wait for the next installment of this series!
Falling for My Brother’s Best Friend is the 4th book in The Bailey’s series. Well I don’t think I looked very closely that this was the 4th book and I missed #2 and #3. I think you can read the books out of order but it would probably still be better to read them in order.
This was Savannah Bailey and Liam Kelly’s story. Liam is Denver Bailey’s best friend. Savannah is having to stay with Liam her landlord while her apartment is being repaired and they have both secretly want each other. Savannah doesn’t want to want him because Liam is younger than her & her younger brothers best friend.
I loved their story and I love these Bailey’s!!! I can’t wait to read more about them!
There are nine Baileys and they are Austin, Savannah, Brooklyn, Rome & Denver (twins), Juno, Kingston, Phoenix and Sedona (twins). I am looking forward to getting to know all these Baileys. So far we have gotten to read Austin, Brooklyn, Rome and Savannah’s story.
I can’t wait for the next Bailey’s story in Demise of a Self-Centered Playboy. Oh and I will go back and read #2 and #3 books in this series!
This is what I know so far as to who belongs to which book.
#1 Lessons From a one night Stand is Austin and Holly’s story
#2 Advice from a Jilted Bride – Brooklyn and Wyatt
#3 Birth of a Baby Daddy – Rome and Harley
#4 Falling for my Brother’s Best Friend – Liam and Savannah
I can’t wait to read more from these 2 ladies Piper and Rayne!
Savannah and Liam’s story was highly anticipated for me, and Piper Rayne did not disappoint. The push and pull, the slow burn, the humor and the steam–ALL OF IT made this book worth the wait. Savannah is the oldest Bailey. She is a smart, savvy business woman and has had a tough time recovering from the death of her parents. She has closed herself off from any real feelings or relationships, and has always felt that the weight of running the family business has fallen on her shoulders and has lost herself along the way. Liam is Savannah’s brothers best friend and has always been a huge part of the Bailey family but they end up hooking up at Holly and Austin’s wedding and sparks fly between these two immediately. Liam was so much more than I expected from the little we get to know about him in the previous books in this series. He has an enormous heart. He is caring and adores Savannah so much. I just loved and the way he pushes her to return to her ‘old’ self prior to the death of her parents. On top of the sweetness there are so many laugh out loud moments–and Grandma Dori is back at with her meddling ways that you can’t help but laugh at, and Calista (Rome and Harley’s daughter) killed me with some of the things she would say! The thing I love so much about this series is that it so easy to fall in love with the Baileys and the town of Lake Starlight. From the first page, I was immersed in their world and did not want to come out. Denver’s story is next, and I cannot wait! 5 STARS. **I was given an ARC in exchange of an honest review**
Piper Rayne
Piper Rayne continues their Bailey family series with Savannah and Liam’s story.
When her mother and father died, Savannah took on a huge amount of responsibility by joining the family business, Bailey Timber. Since then she’s spent most of her time working or as a mother figure for all of her younger siblings.
Liam has been best friend to Rome and Denver Bailey for years and is an honorary family member. He has also had a crush on Savannah since he was a teenager.
She is sure they would never be in a relationship despite a mutual attraction. He knows he can help her have a little fun and that they would be good together. With a bit of meddling from Grandma Dori, a bet, and finally opening up to each other they just might have a chance to make it work.
Liam and Savannah’s back and forth sometimes made me want to tell them both ‘come on just give it a chance’ a few times. However, I could understand both of their hang ups and why they hesitated at different times to move forward.
There’s plenty of moments both hilarious and heartfelt courtesy of the Bailey siblings and their significant others. Rome’s daughter Calista was especially cute. There was also a little bit of set up for the next book in the series, and I can’t wait to read it next!
Thank you to the authors for providing an ARC for an honest review.
5.5 Stars
Falling for my Brother’s Best Friend is the latest book in The Bailey’s series, and while technically they each standalone I highly recommend reading them all!
“Sometimes love exists in the place you never thought to look.”
While I’ve loved all the Bailey’s so far, I’ve been the most excited for Savannah & Liam’s book, and it is definitely my favorite so far! Brother’s best friend with a bit of enemies to lovers mixed in, this book was everything I wanted and more for this couple.
Savannah took on the role of CEO when her parents passed away, and has been the one everyone depends on ever since. Her siblings, employees, even the town all look to her to fix everything, and at this point, she’s basically just going through the motions. She doesn’t “feel” or laugh or have fun, and Liam is determined to fix that.
Liam is an honorary Bailey, best friend of Denver & Rome and entwined in the lives of the whole family. What started as a schoolboy crush eventually blossomed into more, and now he’s ready to make Savannah his. But they are like oil & water, always fighting, and everyone else has had enough. But instead of listening to everyone’s warnings to stay away from each other, he comes up with a plan to uncover the old Savannah and hopefully show her they belong together.
“The ones who make you laugh are always the keepers.”
These two were everything! I knew when we finally got their story it would be amazing, and the wait was definitely worth it! Their chemistry is off the charts, and even when they are fighting you can just feel the pull between them. I loved the progression of their relationship, from enemies to friends to more. Savannah was such an amazing character, and Liam is officially my new boyfriend!
Flirty and fun, I couldn’t put this book down and definitely recommend it! While I’m excited for the next book in this series, I’m really excited for more glimpses of Savannah & Liam!
This brother’s best friend/enemies to lovers story has it all and was definitely worth the wait! Savannah and Liam’s story was full of snark, witty banter and sexual tension that had me just waiting for it all to combust! Savannah has the weight of the world upon her shoulders and Liam wants to help her carry that weight but she just can’t let it go. The two of them embark on a journey to see if the risk is worth the reward…but it always was in Liam’s eyes.
I seriously loved this book. Seeing all of the Bailey’s back together, finding out more about Liam and seeing Savannah let go and finally get what she deserves was well worth the wait! Kudos to you Piper Rayne for another amazing story!
Getting this book was so exciting. My binge read of the Bailey Series a few months ago, feed my need for this one.
Samantha and Liam are deliciously together. Love the older woman, younger man troupe. It is so sexy the way Liam has always pined for Samantha when he hung around her younger brothers. She definitely works hard at not being interested in Liam. Being the older sister, caring for her younger siblings and family business has taken a toll. It is discussed how she has never really dealt with the deaths of her parents.
Liam the hot, younger, tattoo artist takes it upon himself to help Samantha fine the girl of her youth. Ugh so sweet and definitely hot at times. Wink.
This was a lovely afternoon read where I got to live in the world of the Bailey family. I loved how all the other characters from this series are intertwined in this telling. Occasionally I wanted the story to go faster (lol) needing to know what would happen next.
Ugh the major tease at the end was cruel and hilarious. Eek can’t wait for the next Bailey story. Falling for my Brother’s Best Friend is a wonderful story, worthy of a beautiful 4.5 stars. Happy Reading Everyone. XOXO
I know I’m repeating myself here, but this author duo just fucking makes me happy . I read this book this past Sunday and I was not feeling well, and it was the only thing that put a smile on my face!!
This entire family is just everyday chaotic reality with a huge heart and a whole lot of fun! For me, they’re quick reads because they are just so damn entertaining, I can’t wait to get to the next plot point LOL Savannah and Liam proved to be just as much fun and their predecessors!
If you’ve read this series from the beginning then you’ve gotten a few bits and pieces of Liam and Savannah and in those tine glimpses, they don’t seem to mesh too well but oh my the under current of tension rang loud and clear. And not the bad kind LOL You know what they say about that line between love and hate ….. 😉
I love this family and I love this writing duo! This book can certainly be read on its own, but I suggest you start from the beginning because family is very important to the Baileys and you don’t want to miss a single thing about any of them!
I’ve been dying for Savannah and Liam’s story since book one, and these ladies did not disappoint!!! The chemistry between these two was amazing. Whether it was the banter and dirty talk, these two were amazing. I loved how they seemed to bring each other out of their shells. Liam has this side to him that will have you swooning throughout the entire book. Savannah is a strong, feisty heroine who has so much on her plate, but keeps going.
I loved catching up with one of my favorite fictional families, and I can’t wait for the next book in this series!!
Sweet, funny, and touching, with tons of chemistry
Book 4 in The Baileys series, though I’ve read other series by the authors, I haven’t read the earlier books in this particular series. While it was clear there was some setup in the previous book, I mostly didn’t feel I was missing out on anything by started here, except I do think I might have been invested in the characters (particularly Liam) more quickly if I’d read the series in order.
Enemies to lovers plus with Savannah staying in Liam’s house means there’s all kinds of tension as the two of them work through their issues. Liam’s had a crush on Savannah since he was a kid, but Savannah thinks she’s just some kind of notch on the bedpost for him. I thought Liam was kind of a jerk at first; to be fair, I identified strongly with Savannah so I was on her side from the start—the whole flirt with another woman in order to make Savannah jealous was pretty juvenile, imo. A little further in though and Liam’s sweet and caring side came out and I recognized he had his own vulnerabilities. I loved that he not only recognized how much Savannah changed after her parents death, but that he was determined to get her to bring more joy back into her life.
As for secondary characters, well, I usually enjoy sibling banter, and this book is no exception. I did find 20 year old, self-centered Phoenix annoying, but since I’m old enough to be her grandmother (if not quite as old as Grandma Dori), this probably isn’t too surprising, lol. I really liked how much Liam was part of Savannah’s family, having grown up with them, which made me feel bad for him when he got the “intervention” from her brothers. Her family did clearly care about both Liam and Savannah, even if some of them were a little oblivious.
Sweet, funny, and touching, with tons of chemistry, another great read with great characters from this author. Looking forward to the next in the series as well as circling back around to read the previous books. 4.5 stars
B2B Kelly
A solid 4.5 read!! I was excited to read this story & it felt like I was waiting forever for it! The bickering between Liam & Savannah we saw prior made this book so intriguing. The back & forth, the sassiness of Savannah, all pulls you in to fall in love with these two. Throughout this book we find different characters than we have seen previously. The writing, the chemistry is fantastic. I felt at times this book as dragging on & could have been told in fewer words. Don’t get me wrong this story was great; the way these ladies weave the words showing us the bad boy Liam & the boyfriend Liam was wonderful. The slight cliffhanger that leads us wondering what’s going on with the rest of the family was brutal, yet brilliant!!
I recommend this book. Told in dual POV.
