Let’s say you’re an independent, self-sufficient woman who runs the family company and you find yourself falling for your little brother’s best friend. Now, more than ever, you need to count all the reasons why you need to abandon falling.Abandon Falling #1 – He’s a womanizer. Hasn’t had a serious relationship a day in his life and changes women more often than he changes his sheets.Abandon … changes his sheets.
Abandon Falling #2 – He’s never serious. He cracks one-liners, mostly at your expense.
Abandon Falling #3 – When things go wrong, he seems unfazed and always remains in control. It’s so annoying.
Abandon Falling #4 – He has tattoos. Lots of them. Everywhere. Not to mention, he owns a tattoo parlor. (Damn it! Why doesn’t that sound like a bad thing anymore?)
Abandon Falling #5 – There’s a growing list of how different you two are. You can’t get along for fifteen minutes—a lifetime together would land one of you in prison.
Keep repeating those reasons and drown yourself in work. Pretend you don’t notice his good qualities or how enticing he looks without a shirt, and do not, I repeat, do not agree to live with the man while your place is being repaired from flood damage.
Trust me, even the strongest of us can only forego temptation for so long.

Absolutely wonderful!! I’ve been waiting for Savannah & Liam’s book since the start of the Bailey series! I loved watching the push & pull between these two. There’s so much emotion and history between them. I loved getting to see more of Savannah. I personally always thought there was so much more to her than a business minded, closed off woman; and I’m so happy that we got to see into her thought process and what made her so strict. It was such a great book! And as always, I loved getting back to Lake Starlight and seeing everyone there!
5 His Patience Pays Off Stars!!
I don’t know how it’s possible but with each Bailey sibling I read about the more I fall in love with this family and Lake Starlight!! Piper and Rayne have created a family and town that I would absolutely love to live in. This book focuses on Liam and Savannah Bailey.
These two have been dancing around each other since we first met Liam…I mean he’s always known that Sav is for him…but there’s been this “off limits” sentiment because he’s her brother’s best friend and that’s a code that’s never broken along with the fact that she’s older than him…until one night and then it’s game on!!
I loved how independent Sav is. She’s career minded and as with all the Bailey siblings very family oriented and there’s no lack of shenanigans whenever this family gets together, especially if Grandma Dori is in the scene.
One of the things I especially loved about Liam is how he saw beyond the façade Sav put to the world with all her responsibilities running the family business. He could see how she needed to live again and he’s determined to put a smile on her face. There’s a pull between them that if he can get her to acknowledge it, he just knows they can have their HEA!
This book flows so well as I’ve come to expect in this series and I’m in love with how the Bailey’s really are a strong family unit being there in good times and bad… along with some surprises that pop up occasionally. There’s plenty of laugh out loud moments too. But I found myself swooning on more than one occasion because of how Liam treats the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with!
We’re left with a couple little teasers at the end of this book so I cannot wait to read Demise of a Self-Centered Playboy!!
“Am I strong enough to take what I want without caring whether or not things will work out perfectly?”
Since the death of her parents, Savannah Bailey has moved from being just a college student to being the new CEO of her family business, not only responsible for supporting her brothers and sisters, but also for much of the economic movement and jobs in Lake Starlight, Alaska.
Liam Kelly is not a Bailey. However, he also lost his family when Savannah’s parents died. Her mother, Mrs. Bailey’s best friend, can’t stand the loss of her best friend, and along with her husband, they leave Lake Starlight as soon as their son can take care of himself. And it’s no secret to anyone that, despite being five years younger, he has a crush on Savannah Bailey, the older sister of his best friends, Rome and Denver. The years go by and this attraction just seems to increase. He is quiet and owns a tattoo shop. She is the serious CEO of Bailey Corp.
They are like water and wine, like day and night, like the sun and the moon. But one bet can change everything: Liam has five weeks to show Savannah that even though she is an adult and responsible, she doesn’t have to take everything so seriously and can sometimes prioritize her wishes over others’. If he succeeds, he will have the chance of a lifetime: a date with the woman of his dreams. If he fails, he will have to reveal secrets hidden under lock and key.
Liam remembers who Savannah was before her parents died, and although he knows she won’t be the same person again, he sees her like no one else and realizes that she needs to get back parts of herself that are important and was abandoned, hidden under an absurd amount of responsibilities. Savannah will also help Liam see his true worth, which he often doubts.
The wait for a Piper Rayne book is always distressing. And it’s always worth it. The authors do not disappoint and once again deliver a romantic, joyful, fun and full of chemistry and emotion story that only they can write. Falling for my brother’s best friend makes us wonder about how losses can transform us and the stigma of society can hinder the path of happiness. But when we are able to decide and fight for what we deserve and want, nothing can stop us.
PS: The revelations in the epilogue will make you count the days until the next book. Again.
*ARC provided in exchange for an honest Review *
This book has been the one I have been impatiently waiting for since this series began.
Savannah is a high strung, stressed to the max, Type A person. She has a lot of responsibility riding on her shoulders, and doesn’t have time to let loose.
Liam is described as a bad boy, but he is so much more underneath that top layer. He is so genuine and caring. The effort he put forth to show Savannah her true self was amazing. There was never a doubt about his intentions.
These two together are somewhat of a mess. They can’t get it together, but the way it comes together was so much more meaningful and impactful. And Liam’s secret…never saw that coming, but it just added an extra layer of goodness to his personality.
This family dynamic is one of the best. They tell it like it is, but will stick up for you and be there for you in a heartbeat. I love how the epilogue always gives hints about future books, and I can already tell they are going to be amazing!

Piper Rayne knows what she is going with the Bailey family and I am here for it!
Savannah and Liam did not disappoint! When it comes to the Bailey’s you know that you are going to have a good time. Piper Rayne has crafted these stories in a way that you feel like these are your people. I approach her books like going to see old friends. Savannah and Liam’s road is not easy especially. They emotions are high in this book and you get a deeper look not into only Savannah, but also the Baileys! Pick up this book – you will regret it if you don’t!
Rating: 4.5 Stars
Savannah Bailey believes avoidance is the best course of action. Liam Kelly has a conflict he doesn’t know how to resolve. They both seem frustrated so it should be interesting to see how they solve that problem.
It was interesting to see how our authors developed this story. They have created two characters that take their time. That’s what I love about these two. It’s a great way to build the anticipation plus it makes the story seem more believable. Even their secondary characters seem to shine but there were a couple that had me wondering if one of them was going to get their story next. I usually love Grandma Dori, since she’s such a hoot, but she seemed a little off this time.
She had a way of making her family shine – even as she stays in the background. This time she gave me the impression that she didn’t want that for Savannah. Liam on the other hand did a great job in doing that for Savannah and maybe that was the plan. Maybe the other part of the plan was to poke the bear. It certainly was a great way to get me reading and not caring what was going on around me. Having Savannah so unsure of herself was another incentive – I almost wanted to here her say “I am woman hear me roar”. In the end, everything turned out fine because we have a family get together and it was nice that we can feel included – a great way to catch up while leaving a little mystery.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
***4 Stars***
I swear I felt like I was back on the playground with these two (something that was mentioned a time or two by others in the story). They gave me all kinds of emotional whiplash. All. Kinds. But even when they had me wanting to reach out and Gibbs smack some sense into them, I couldn’t keep from turning the pages to see what would happen next.
Liam and Savannah. These two…They are both really good, hard working people with big hearts and crazily enough, beneath the surface, they have very similar issues ~ they just deal with them in different ways. Which, of course, made for an interesting journey to their HEA. The chemistry between them was undeniable, everytime they were near each other the sparks flew – no matter the emotional tone of those sparks – and I have to say they did drive me a bit batshit crazy, but I couldn’t help but root for them to figure their issues out and truly accept what everyone else knew…that they were perfect for each other.
While this isn’t my first rodeo with Piper Rayne, this is my first dose of the Bailey’s and I had a blast being around this huge, extremely nosey, but extremely lovable family. Grandma Dori, of course, stole the show, but I really liked hanging out with all of them and seeing how unique they all were and I’m definitely going to be looking to not only catch up with the ones that have already found their HEA’s but be on the lookout for the next Bailey to fall!

I adore the Lake Starlight and The Baileys and I couldn’t wait to read Savannah and Liam’s story. Their book was a highly anticipated read for me and with all the sexual tension and banter, I was definitely not disappointed!
Brother’s best friend, enemies to lovers (of sorts) and a bit of a slow burn…in the best way possible! Savannah and Liam couldn’t be more different and with a 5 year age difference. In Falling for My Brother’s Best Friend, these too definitely have the whole opposites attract. The storyline is well written, well paced and watching the relationship between Savannah and Liam unfold had me turning the pages and I couldn’t put it down. The chemistry between these two is off the charts; I loved their passion and I loved their honesty. Piper Rayne did a wonderful job of writing this story and this relationship. I loved seeing the different sides to both Liam and Savannah.
Falling for my Brother’s Best Friend is a wonderful addition to The Baileys series and each story has been a joy to read. Liam and Savannah’s story was well worth the wait and I am so eager to continue reading about the rest of this crazy family!
5 stars
First I’d like to finally thank authors Piper Rayne for this gorgeous, and uber hot, cover. Sheesh, yum. Second, I’m so glad I finally had the opportunity to read the book shot my favorite, if honorary, member of the Bailey family, LIAM! While all the Bailey books can be read as standalones, you don’t want to miss out on the fun, trust me.
Savannah has never been my fave of the Bailey clan, as I’m sure the authors intended, but that’s only because I couldn’t relate to her neurotic, obsessive self. What I can relate to is growing up too soon, with weight on your shoulders, you’re not sure how to carry. Savannah’s brilliant but in the process of raising her younger siblings and becoming the head, and face, of the family business at just 19, she lost herself along the way. With shoulders drooped from all the heavy lifting she does, Savannah presents a brave, if callous, face to the world. But someone sees the real Savannah and longs to reawaken her.
Liam Kelly has been in love with Savannah Bailey, his best friends older sister, since he was 14. He’s tried to move on but his fixation with her never waned. She, on the other hand, makes a career out of denying their attraction to one another. Over the years, their desire has turned into various ways of digging at each other and the animosity comes to a head. Even more than wanting Sav in his arms, and ok, in his bed, he desperately wants to see her happy, something she hasn’t been in forever.
This book was everything! Liam is hotness personified and I love how he is with Savannah. Somehow, he’s both tender and alpha and this badass combo allows her to be her just how she is, without the professional shield she shows the world. Delicious addition to the Bailey series!

Piper Rayne has done it again and given us another unforgettable wonderful storyline. Falling for my Brother’s Best Friend is Liam and Savannah’s story and what a story it is. It has many ups and downs but you can’t not fall in love with this couple. Liam will be your next book friend for sure! I am voluntarily leaving my honest review after reading this arc.
Savannah’s story is everything I’ve been waiting for! Grandma Dori is still the highlight of the story and as usual, the epilogue is the best part! The Bailey family is always there for each other, and I love how the characters are such an active part of the story, making you want to read the previous books in the series all over again.
Falling for my Brother’s Best friend (The Baileys #4) by Piper Rayne. I have to start this review with the fact that I had not read any of the previous books before starting this book. I had a hard time starting this book due to the fact I didn’t know who all the characters were. With that being said please do read the previous books. It just makes it easier to get into the story quicker because you will know who is who and what happened previously to them. This book is about Savannah Bailey. You can say she is the head of the siblings. She runs the family business with the help of her sassy grandmother. The weight of all Savannah’s responsibilities has made her a real stick in the mud. Liam’s is her younger brothers friend and the two of them kinda hooked up. To make matters worst Savannah is living in Liam’s house till her’s is repaired. They have feelings for each other. Savannah has so many reasons why they can’t while Liam is making it his mission to change her mind. I am so glad I read this book. I loved the story of their journey to each other. Liam is the ultimate man any woman would want. He is just yummy. 4.5 stars for me.
It feels like I have been waiting forever for this book. I knew from the first time we meet Savannah and Liam that their love story was going to send us on a wild ride and Piper Rayne didn’t disappoint me at all.
Liam is this amazing laid back guy that has loved Savannah since he was 14 years old and Savannah is “a little” high maintenance, but she has the right to be caring for her siblings with her big brother after their parents died. Now that everyone is grown up its time for Savannah to live her life, that is where Liam comes in. But can these two get passed all the fighting to realize that there might be more to their relationship?
I love The Baileys even Grandma Dori when she is sticking her nose in everyone’s personal life. No matter what is going on with Bailey’s siblings, they are there for each other and just tell it like it is. The little teaser in the epilogue has me impatiently waiting for Dever’s story.
My favorite Bailey book so far
I really love this series. I love all the characters and the crazy small town that is really a character in its own right. I have loved Liam from the start, when he was in the hospital with Calista making animal noises with her is one of my favorite moments with him, well that is until this book. This book just shows how amazingly awesome he is and how utterly perfect he is for Savannah. I could gush about him all day long. He has definitely taken a spot in favorite book boyfriends of all time. As for the story, this one is emotional. We see more of how affected the family was by their loss, especially Savannah. I’m really excited to get more moments with this family.
I have always been in two minds about Savannah. She comes across as a bit of a judgy know it all ball buster but at the same time I get it. She had so much stress and responsibility thrown at her at such a young age it kind of put a stick up well you know where.
And obviously I have always loved Liam. I mean what’s not to love in a reformed playboy, town bad boy with a heart of gold? And having seen him always there for the Bailey trouble makers just added to his appeal.
But I didn’t see how Piper Rayne were going to ever get them on the same page. Especially after watching them fight like cat and dog all this time.
Obviously I should have had more faith because not only did those ladies provide me with a great romance they also made me love Savannah. And maybe shed a few tears for everything these two went through to get to the end of the story.
Although thankfully it’s just the start of a new chapter in the Bailey family saga and we are already all cued up for the next installment and I really am dying to see Denver grow up and put someone before himself. And find out who the owner of a certain handbag is. Can’t wait!!!
And complete side note but damn, how hot are those cover models? Awesome casting job ladies.
This is an incredible series. Each book woves itself to the next and the characters are all connected. I feel like this book had more sadness and emotions than any other. It was about finding the strength to find yourself when you get lost in the craziness of life. Never lose sight of who you are and what makes you happy or what is life really about? Your own happiness is more important than trying to please everyone else. Love can heal you and make you whole. The writing was perfect and the authors are so talented. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
Yay! Their finally back. This time it’s Liam and Savannah. This one will just you whiplash with all the feels!! Liam comes off as the town bad boy but deep down is a sweet heart and a soulful person. Savannah is a little more standoffish but with the help of Liam she learns to mellow out and be more free. I loved how he pretty much soothed her. They were just good together. Good read and can’t wait for more!
I loved Falling for my Brother’s Best Friend! I’ve been waiting for Liam and Savannah’s story since I started this series and it did not disappoint. Liam grew up with the Baileys and is best friends with Rome and Denver. Savannah has the weight of the world on her shoulders since she had to step up and take over Bailey Timber. Liam has had a crush on Savannah since they were teens and is finally ready to act on it despite his insecurities. I love their chemistry, the sexual tension, and hilarious banter. Liam makes me swoon. He is just the perfect book boyfriend. I need more of the Baileys.
If you’ve read the previous Baileys’ books, you know why this one has been the most anticipated thus far. Savannah and Liam have been skirting around each other in every one and we couldn’t wait to read all about them.
Liam Kelly has been to the Baileys that additional sibling every family has. He’s the friend that’s always there and he’s been in love with Savannah for as long as he can remember, but being her best friends’ older sister, she only sees him as that: Rome and Denver’s friend…at least, that’s what she claims.
This story is everything in my book. It made me laugh and cry and I found it hard to put it down. Having the two of them living under the same roof, their explosive relationship and the fact that Savannah is at the end of the proverbial rope, ready to crumble under so much pressure, it’s only the perfect backdrop for Liam to become her knight in shining armor even though she doesn’t even notice.
Liam is the epitome of the perfect book boyfriend. He goes the extra mile to help Savannah and make her see that they might be a good fit after all.
Of course, this wouldn’t be a Bailey book if Grandma Dori and the siblings didn’t meddle and put some hurdles in their path, but it’s just a great story of another member of our favorite Lake Starlight family.
Amazing read with all the feels. Everyone is going to love Liam and Savannah! Definitely worth the wait!! Falling for my Brother’s Best Friend is book #4 in The Bailey’s Series. I’d highly recommend this book but I would suggest reading in order.
My favorite parts was when Liam helped Savannah find herself and the barn!
