Let’s say you’re an independent, self-sufficient woman who runs the family company and you find yourself falling for your little brother’s best friend. Now, more than ever, you need to count all the reasons why you need to abandon falling.Abandon Falling #1 – He’s a womanizer. Hasn’t had a serious relationship a day in his life and changes women more often than he changes his sheets.Abandon … changes his sheets.
Abandon Falling #2 – He’s never serious. He cracks one-liners, mostly at your expense.
Abandon Falling #3 – When things go wrong, he seems unfazed and always remains in control. It’s so annoying.
Abandon Falling #4 – He has tattoos. Lots of them. Everywhere. Not to mention, he owns a tattoo parlor. (Damn it! Why doesn’t that sound like a bad thing anymore?)
Abandon Falling #5 – There’s a growing list of how different you two are. You can’t get along for fifteen minutes—a lifetime together would land one of you in prison.
Keep repeating those reasons and drown yourself in work. Pretend you don’t notice his good qualities or how enticing he looks without a shirt, and do not, I repeat, do not agree to live with the man while your place is being repaired from flood damage.
Trust me, even the strongest of us can only forego temptation for so long.

THIS! This is it! I finally made it to Savannah and Liam’s story and I’M IN LOVE! When I said Rome’s story was my favorite I was totally lying. Falling For My Brother’s Best Friend is my absolute favorite in this series and no other book will beat it because I am so freaking obsessed with this couple! Falling For My Brother’s Best Friend is an enemies to lovers/roommate romance with a burly, bearded, tatted, and overly swoony hero and a spunky, slightly uptight, but so determined heroine.
Savannah is my girl! I knew that she was going to have an interesting backstory based on all the appearances she made in the previous sibling’s books but y’all this girl still made me feel so much for her. She’s held the burden of so much and along the way, she’s lost sight of herself and what brings her joy. It was so amazing seeing her find it again in this book.
LIAM FREAKING KELLY. The Bailey brothers need to take a card from his books because dang if he isn’t the most swoony out of all of them! I am completely smitten by this man! He’s sensitive, caring, and you can tell he’s just a joy to be around. He will absolutely go down as one of my favorite book boyfriends because I couldn’t think of a more well-rounded hero! I swear when you see his soft side you will know exactly what I’m talking about!
I’ve been dying for Liam and Savannah’s story since book one and Piper Rayne did not disappoint! The chemistry between these two has been showing so clearly throughout this whole series and it completely exploded in this book. The journey these two go on together to find happiness squeezes your heart so much and creates such a sweet love story.
Once again I am completely obsessed with Piper Raynes books! I love this author duo so much that I’ve bought almost all of their books because I’ve enjoyed this series so much! I can’t wait to explore more from them and continue with The Baileys!
I love, love this family! and even though I really enjoyed the previous books in the series, this one was the best so far. I totally believe that it’s Liam’s fault. The honorary Bailey member rocks, not only as a character but also for the way he treats Savannah. She totally needs his support and I couldn’t think someone else for her!!
This was my first Bailey book, and I absolutely fell in love with this family! So many different personalities and dynamics make their way through, especially when listening to the audio book. The narrators do such a fantastic job bringing the characters to life that I could visualize everything as if it were happening in front of me.
This might be one of my favorite couples of the series! I LOVED Liam!
This was actually a kind of cute story. I started out not liking Savannah, but she grew on me.
I listened to the audio book through Hoopla. The female narrator’s voice in this book was a tad whiny, but I thought that may have more to do with the character rather then the narrator.
Liam and Savannah both had vulnerabilities that kept them from being together. As the story progressed, they were exposed and managed to work through them almost until the last page.
They had really good chemistry. All of their emotions came through while listening to the story. I also loved that the book had an epilogue. As Liam and Savannah find their HEA, the story morphed into one about Sav’s brother Denver.
Great story! It is always nice to read about the Bailey family! From the siblings Savanna is the one I cared the less, also I was not in love with Liam, nevertheless the story is great, is well written and gets you trapped and reading. I recommend this book!
I have been waiting for this!!! In the previous books, there were glimpses of these two and I have been waiting for it to all come together!! Falling For My Brother’s Best Friend was the 4th book in Piper Rayne’s Baileys Series. It was sweet, sexy, and oh so swoonworthy!! It can be read as a stand-alone but this family is too good to pass up like that!!
Savanah acted as if she had everything together but the cracks were starting to show. The one person to notice was the one person she should stay away from. He was younger…he had tattoos…and he was her brother’s best friend…
Liam may have had several relationships but he only ever wanted one girl. He knew he shouldn’t have feelings for her, but they never went away. Would he ever be able to convince her to give them a chance?
All the tension!!! I am surprised they didn’t combust before! The banter between these two was something else. I enjoyed getting to watch them slowly figure out how they fit together. It was such a sweet enemies to lovers, brother’s best friend romance!!
Can I be perfectly honest here? To my shame, I almost didn’t continue reading Piper Rayne’s Falling for My Brother’s Best Friend. Shocking, right? I mean, who doesn’t love The Baileys? Not me! I absolutely love this series! So, what was it about Savannah Bailey’s story that got me off on the wrong foot? Well, I just didn’t like her at first. She seemed uptight, too focused on the family reputation, and all-consumed with her role as president of Bailey Timber. The woman never let herself relax and have fun. Ahhh, but you see, that’s the whole point. Savannah needs someone to show her how to enjoy life again.
Liam Kelly. Best friend to bad boy twin brothers, Rome and Denver Bailey. They have quite the reputation around Lake Starlight from their younger days. Rome has settled down, but Denver is still on a tear. Everyone just assumes tattoo artist and owner of Smokin Guns tattoo parlor, Liam, is still living on the wild side as well. Lesson here: don’t prejudge tattooed motorcycle riding men. There’s a lot more underneath the surface than meets the eye. Plus, Liam has carried a secret torch for Savannah for years, but has felt he will never be good enough for her.
Watching these two help each other past their own self doubts and acknowledge their attraction for one another is a wonderful story and I’m so glad I finished it. I actually like Savannah now and Liam has a heart of gold.
Be sure to download the bonus scene. It’s the perfect ending and made my heart sing.
This book was great. This is a favorite trope of mine and I cannot wait to read more in this world!
I didn’t want to stop this book. I could have read an entire second book with Sav and Liam. They were life guys. I wanted a novel that was sweet and sexy at the same time and this duo delivered!
This book was a perfect afternoon read. It was just enough of everything and well balanced while you read. There weren’t any slow spots and the faster spots were spread out the best. I couldn’t put this book down though y’all. I got invested in these two and really wanted to finish their story.
Spoiler alert, I read it in one sitting and loved it.
Every Bailey book just gets better and better! Loved Liam from the beginning of the series. This story is witty with lots of laugh out loud moments. When Savannah discovered what was in the barn, I had tears in my eye, Liam really is all heart.
With all the pent up emotions the two have always had, I thought there would be a lot of angry make up sex. But their journey is tender and watching them find themselves and each other was a real treat.
Absolutely perfect!! This was my first book by this author but it definitely will not be my last! I loved Savannah and Liam so much. Their story is beautiful and soul searching. I’m heading into the bonus chapter now! I have to keep reading these wonderful books!
Savannah and Liam were fantastic and so opposite in personality. Savannah is a take charge, strong business woman with the weight of the world on her shoulders. Liam is a tattooed, sexy in charge alpha male and owns a tattoo shop. He wants to help Savannah if she can only let things go. These two were a delight to read. A lovely story that I recommend.
4.5 Stars – Of course I loved this book. It was funny and sweet all in one!
The previous Bailey books felt like foreplay with Liam and Savannah’s story, so it came to no surprise that this was my most anticipated read from this series; and it didn’t disappoint.
I just hoped that it didn’t just start from the present but when they were younger, or at least give some peeks into the past (not only one) because they had always been attraction to each other and I’m sure there were some interesting and electrifying moments throughout all those years.
Readers who have been following the Bailey family so far will surely love this book. I don’t know if it would be the same experience for new readers to read this as a standalone though because each book kind of built up to this one (not to mention all the other characters who’s story continued in this book) and that feel of jumping into the middle of their story could be a bit confusing.
I felt so bad for Savannah and how everyone took for granted that she was responsible for everything and would handle all the things that were thrown at her. Her siblings as well as her grandmother forgot that she had to grow up from one day to the other when she had to take over her parents company after their death. She couldn’t be reckless and pursue her dreams like her siblings, make mistakes and get wild at times. Savannah was ever the controlled and professional one who took matters in her own hands and dealt with them for everyone’s satisfactions but forgot about her own wants and needs.
Liam was an amazing guy, I loved him. He was kind, respectful, caring, and oh so sweet. Just all around perfect. I loved how well he knew Savannah, from the inside out, and that he really cared for her happiness. He noticed all the tiny signs that everyone else ignored about her. He put her first and paid attention to her she didn’t get from anybody else.
Though Savannah wasn’t used to this and couldn’t seem to get out of this role her family put her in of the responsible adult. She never allowed herself to veer off path and let loose, or to even think about Liam in any other way than her brother’s best friend, because no matter how good-looking he was, how thoughtful and helpful he was, he just wasn’t in her cards. But Liam had his eyes set on Savannah for a long time now and was determined to show her that her life has more to offer than only work.
Read: 11/14/19
Falling for my Brother’s Best Friend was the fourth book in Piper Rayne’s Baileys series. Although they can technically be read as stand-alones, there was more enjoyment when read in order.
Finally the highly anticipated Liam and Savannah’s book. They’ve been dancing around each other for years with a mixture of anger and annoyance and we finally get the real story. And actually, it wasn’t with the expected back story.
Savannah was the second eldest Bailey sibling. Their parents died when she was nineteen and she immediately began running the family business as well as assisted with raising her younger siblings. She was high strung, highly organized and an over the top Type A personality. Her mind never stopped – she couldn’t afford for it to or she would never get everything done.
Liam was almost a Bailey. He was five years younger than Savannah and was her twin brothers (Rome and Denver’s) best friend. He was their third partner in crime always pulling pranks and having fun. Although now in his twenties and a business owner of a tattoo shop, Smokin’ Guns, that still hadn’t changed.
I’ve been anticipating their story from the beginning. It was the quintessential grow up with hidden crushes on each other storyline – but then it wasn’t. It was about so much more.
I loved all of the Bailey’s and eagerly await each new book. This was no exception – and they all played a central role with their continued bantering and fun. However, for the first time, I wanted to ring all of the eight siblings necks. And Grandma Dory too. No spoilers so no elaboration, but looking at the Bailey’s from Savannah’s lens opened up a new perspective. Liam said it best when describing Savannah: “She went through a hurricane in a dingy, stranded in the middle of the ocean. It changed her in ways there’s no reversing.”
In the end, I loved the storyline. And I loved what Liam accomplished. It took a bit to get set up, not because of the writing – it was well written – but it needed developing – which the authors did well. And I hated what I was seeing – again, not the writing, but the perspective needed to be laid out. And once that was done and I understood the big picture, then the story began to progress and develop. And I totally fell in love. It wasn’t an easy journey for Liam and Savannah, but it was a journey well worth it. I think I have my new favorite Bailey book!
The only down side was that it finished abruptly. I wanted more so hopefully we’ll see more in future books. Now off to more siblings! Four down, five to go!
It was great to read about why Savannah has always been the mother when of the family. Liam has been love sick over Savannah since they were teenagers. I found that the book had everything you want in a romance , a slow build up then full steamy chemistry with Liam & Savannah.
I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Sav and Liam’s story and I was definitely not disapointed. I have loved every book in The Bailey’s series. But Sav and Liam’s story has to be my favorite. The anticipation was there.
I felt for Sav, she gave up her life when her parents died and she had to take over the businesses and finish raising her siblings. Liam is so swoon worthy. He knows how to knock a woman off her feet. And boy did he keep trying. I absolutely love the chemistry between the two.
Piper Rayne really knows how to keep you wanting more of there work. I love their writing style.
Falling for my Brother’s Best Friend is the fourth book in The Bailey’s series. I cannot wait for book five and get into more Bailey’s heads.
It’s a Wonderful Life is my favorite movie of all time. I mean who does not love that Bailey family. They are loyal, fun and yes, sometimes they even struggle.
Well, I have the same love for the Piper’s Baileys. They are family, first and foremost. They love hard, they play hard and they fight hard.
Liam and Savannah! They are just what we needed. The push and pull. The ins and outs. The yes and nos. The finding their way home.
Grab this book, read their story and find your way home to the magic of Piper Rayne.
Falling for my Brother’s Best Friend is the fourth book in this interconnected series from the author. This is my second reading from these duo and I have come to love their feel-good romance and style of writing. Although this is the fourth book, it can be read as a standalone. However, I will still be checking out the first three books to fully immerse myself in this book world.
As the eldest, Savannah has become an all work, no play kind of girl and always putting the needs of everyone before her, while Liam appeared to be a laid back, cool as a cucumber kind of guy. But isn’t the saying opposites attract applies to these two? I say, hell yeah. The chemistry between them is undeniable, no matter how hard they fight it. It’s inevitable too, most especially that they lived under the same roof. When they get together, the intensity is enough to get your e-reader to overheat, LOL. They are a perfect fit and complement each other. I’ve enjoyed every minute of this captivating, plenty of humor and sizzling romance. Can’t wait to read more stories from this clan!
When I started to read this book, Savannah and Liam are squabbling as per usual. Savannah is being snippy and Liam is being sarcastic. All of this because they like like each other and want to deny it. Savannah feels like all Liam wants is a conquest, another notch on his bedpost. Liam thinks that Savannah wants a business man, and he is not enough for her. I was a little worried because I didn’t think I could stand a whole book of them being nitpicky and argumentative and stubborn. However, pretty soon things changed and got a whole lot interesting.
These two have been in like for years and I just knew they were in love but didn’t want to face that truth. Liam made a deal with Savannah, made her to participate in activities that would force her to see herself as she is now versus how she was before her parents died. She took a whole chunk of responsibility on her shoulders when she was too young to keep her younger siblings afloat and now she’s changed into a rigid, opinionated woman who always needs to be right and is always worrying about her image in front of others, including the whole town. As she learns to laugh and have fun, a new Savannah appears and Liam is there to egg her on. I always liked Savannah but felt for her because she did have a lot of weight on her shoulders. I cheered for her as she started to be happier.
At one time, when they were fighting so much, the Bailey males convinced Liam to let it go because they seemed to be lethal to one another. So, he tabled the sexual chemistry for a while and just acted as a friend. This stand back attitude together with their deal gave fantastic results and we get to read about a lot of fun stuff they got involved in. For the town bad boy, Liam certainly cleaned up his act and he was stellar in this book. He was considerate, charming, sexy, observant, and intuitive. A secret talent is revealed, which you have to read to discover! I found him amazing, all you could want in a boyfriend.
This story, which started in squabble warfare, continued on to become a great love story. Since initially Liam did only want another night with Savannah, he also had to deal with some stuff. Mainly the difference in status: he’s a tattoo artist with a successful tattoo parlor but she’s the president of the Bailey company. Also, the fact that he didn’t desire to live the single man life he used to crave; he now only wanted to come home to Savannah. Savannah was a little freaked out that he’s five years younger and best friend to the double-trouble twins (a.k.a Rome and Denver). Their road to love was a lot of fun and it was made so much better with the manipulations and interventions of Grandma Dori and the rest of the Bailey bunch with addendums (couples).
Now I’m left to wonder how the authors will deal with Denver’s story. He’s assumed the role of irresponsible guy in the Bailey clan, and he’s relentlessly bachelor in his ways. Looking forward to this one!
I have been waiting for Liam & Savannah’s story. This book did not disappoint!! Liam is my knight in shining armor. I love this entire series. Happy there are so many characters/family members!! This series will be around for awhile. YAY!!!
