Let’s say you’re an independent, self-sufficient woman who runs the family company and you find yourself falling for your little brother’s best friend. Now, more than ever, you need to count all the reasons why you need to abandon falling.Abandon Falling #1 – He’s a womanizer. Hasn’t had a serious relationship a day in his life and changes women more often than he changes his sheets.Abandon … changes his sheets.
Abandon Falling #2 – He’s never serious. He cracks one-liners, mostly at your expense.
Abandon Falling #3 – When things go wrong, he seems unfazed and always remains in control. It’s so annoying.
Abandon Falling #4 – He has tattoos. Lots of them. Everywhere. Not to mention, he owns a tattoo parlor. (Damn it! Why doesn’t that sound like a bad thing anymore?)
Abandon Falling #5 – There’s a growing list of how different you two are. You can’t get along for fifteen minutes—a lifetime together would land one of you in prison.
Keep repeating those reasons and drown yourself in work. Pretend you don’t notice his good qualities or how enticing he looks without a shirt, and do not, I repeat, do not agree to live with the man while your place is being repaired from flood damage.
Trust me, even the strongest of us can only forego temptation for so long.

I’ve been desperate to get Savannah’s story ever since this series started and it was everything I hoped it would be.
Savannah lost her parents when she was only nineteen. All of a sudden it’s left to her and her brother to not only raise their siblings but run the family business and the fun Savannah is no more. Now she’s got family responsibilities and a job that’s taking over her life. I’ve always loved Savannah. She’s so focused on her family and the business that she never puts herself first. I loved how her family will always come before she does but now they’re getting older I had hoped she’d find her own hea.
Liam is Savs brothers friend and even though she’s older than him he’s always had a crush on her. He remembers how she used to be and when circumstances force Savannah to move in with Liam, he sees an opportunity to get her to live a little. I loved these two together. They mix like oil and water, they bicker, they have a love/ hate thing going on and wind each other up but they are so right for each other.
I am a huge fan of this series. Every single character is so easy to like, the family dynamics and the love and respect they share is enough to warm the coldest of hearts and it’s got plenty of humour to keep you giggling throughout. Another fantastic book in The Baileys series and I can’t wait for the next one.
Savannah and Liam’s story is finally here!!! Love them hard!!! I feel for both of them. As reading their story I was like oh shit that’s me, I do that. I am happy that Liam helped Savannah and they are getting their HEA. But none of the Bailey’s story’s are over, some are just beginning. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
I’ve wanted Savannah and Liam’s story ever since we met them in the first of the Bailey’s books. Time has crept along while waiting but it’s finally here and boy was it worth the wait. Savannah has been the one holding the family together, along with her older brother Austin, ever since their parents died in a car crash more than a decade ago. She’s shoved her own needs to the wayside while becoming the face of Bailey timber.
Liam is Denver and Rome’s best friend, he’s also been in lust/love with Savannah since he was a teenager. He’s a lot younger than her and she’s reticent about them even hooking up, never mind anything more serious. But, Liam’s decided it’s time to bring back the old Savannah. He’s got a plan, all he needs is for her to listen and agree.
It’s all fun and games until they fall. Savannah has more reservations and fights the attraction harder than Liam. but when it’s meant to be. It’s meant to be!
Liam was hot, sexy with his tats and his desire to be seen. Savannah, strong-willed but sensitive underneath her armor. A great couple we’ll want to see more of, I’m sure.
Next up, it’s Denver’s turn to get ‘Baileyed’ and I can’t wait.
Falling For My Brother’s Best Friend is the book I have been waiting for since Piper Rayne started The Baileys series. The anticipation was high and they absolutely lived up to my expectation in this swoonworthy, spicy and heart warming romance! I fall in love with the Baileys all over again!
Savannah Bailey is my favorite Bailey. Who am I kidding? They are all my favorite. But I love her sassy, fierce and boss lady attitude so much! But we all sometimes forget how much responsibility she carries on her shoulder since very young age. The business runner. The fixer. The matriarch. The lively, reckless and fun loving Savannah is lost while she put everyone’s need first. Her brother’s best friend Liam is the only one who sees through her. Tattooed bad boy of Lake Starlight with his sexy smirk and charm is determined to get back a part of old Savannah. And then there is the burning, electrifying and sensational attraction both of them are trying to avoid. But living in same house is not exactly easy.
Liam is so beyond perfection. On one side he is irresistible with his sexy charming personality. On the other side he is so thoughtful and caring. The sweet but very meaningful gestures he made to bring Savannah out of her shell made me swoon and sigh so hard. Their colourful experiments were so much fun and intriguing. This story was the epitome of slow burn romance. The heat and attraction was simmering till it exploded. And the journey was amazing. I savoured each and every moment. The push and pull. The angry outbursts. The witty banter. The heartbreak. In one word, romance at it’s best.
Piper Rayne has this unique ability to engage me completely in their stories. The characters become so much more than fiction and their emotions become mine. Falling in Love With My Brother’s Best Friend was the same. Another beautiful romance from Piper Rayne.
Received ARC for Honest review
What an AMAZING book! I’m new to this series but since I’ve been reading I literally could not wait for Savannah and Liam’s story and boy was it PERFECT!! Piper & Rayne did such a great job and made it so worth the wait for all of those who have been patiently waiting for it. 🙂
Savannah Bailey’s life took a drastic turn at the age of nineteen when her parents passed away. Savannah and her brother Austin both put their own life on hold to make sure that their brothers and sisters had what they needed. Savannah also quit college and came back home to run Bailey Timber and become the face of the business. Savannah always put others first and never thinks about her own happiness or even allows herself to feel sad for what’s she lost.
Liam Kelly has been around the Bailey’s for years and is best friend’s with Savannah’s brothers. He owns his own tattoo shop in Lake Starlight that is wildly successful. He’s had his fun with women in the past but Savannah has been his crush and dream since they were young. Unfortunately Liam and Savannah are total opposites and when they are around each other it just brings out the worse in Savannah. Liam sees that Savannah is so consumed with work and family and just isn’t herself like she was before her parents died. Liam sets out to prove to her that the old Savannah is still there and that she can still have fun, enjoy things and have a life outside of Bailey Timber and her siblings. This leads to an AMAZING story! Liam is just so sweet, understanding and boy does he make you SWOON. Literally you can’t help but fall for Liam!
I absolutely have loved all of the Bailey family and each of the other books but this book is BY FAR my favorite! I literally would give this book so many stars if I could!!! I couldn’t put it down and finished it about 3 a.m. this morning!
Of course with Piper & Rayne you also get to hear more from all of the siblings and their lives which I just LOVE! I can’t wait for the next book with Denver and Cleo!
Note: I voluntarily received and read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review.
The romance that everybody saw coming is about to deliver the drama no Bailey fan will soon forget. It only took four and a half books, two stubborn hearts, one determined family and an equally determined author to help Liam and Savannah get the ending they both deserved. Buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride. Temptation has never been so much fun. Falling For My Brother’s Best Friend continues to remind romance fans why the name, Piper Rayne is a staple with one click fans everywhere.
5 Star Review Falling For My Brother’s Best Friend (The Baileys #4) by Piper Rayne
I fell for Liam the first time he was introduced in the series and all Falling For My Brother’s Best Friend did was encourage me to fall harder. A friends to lovers story that is full of love and family which ticked all the boxes for me. I was riveted from the first page to the last and was disappointed when I finished it.
Underneath her tough as nails surface Savannah (Sav) Bailey is like most other women, looking for love. Having helped her brother Austin raise their siblings, Savannah has little time to escape her responsibilities and Liam decides it is up to him to help her re discover herself.
Can Liam convince Savannah that what they shared would be worth crossing the line from friends to lovers? Or are they destined to remain apart?
I have fallen more and more for the Bailey’s and their circle of friends, in fact there is not a Bailey that I don’t love. They are such a great family and their friends and extended family are just as awesome.
I adore small town romances and often find myself wishing that I could be a part of the Lake Starlight community. Of course living in such a small community, your privacy goes out the window, with everyone having an opinion.
You know when you pick up a Piper Rayne book that there is going to be plenty of humour, that’s a given, but this book had so much that at times I wanted to cry.
I also love how “all in” the Bailey Clan are with the people they care about and I have to say that Grandma Dori nearly stole the book at times.
If you’ve read a Bailey book you’ll know how well Liam and Savannah get on, just like two cats in a bag. Neither one is willing to concede even an inch. To say I was excited to read their story is putting it mildly. The hottest couple in Lake Starlight finally got their time to shine.
When last we left them they were forced to cohabit due to flooding. It wasn’t easy, especially from the start. They bounced off each other like rubber balls. Liam; laid back and chilled. Savannah; wooden and contrite. The captain of the Bailey family business, doing everything and anything to get the job done. How does one go from teenager to businesswoman in the blink of an eye? Ask Savannah, the path was most certainly paved with bad intentions.
And who could forget Grandma Dori and her meddling ways. I love that woman hard, she makes me laugh like a naughty school child. How she bulldozed her way through their lives and never, ever gets pulled up on it. Honestly, if they weren’t blinded by their love for her they might have gotten off easier.
Experiencing the back and forth of Liam and Savannah only made me love them more. He tried so hard to get seen, whilst she only wanted to melt into the background. The weight of the world on her shoulders, no wonder she has no time for games or comedy.
The one thing I always love about these authors’ books is their ability to spin a true organic relationship. They aren’t pushing pieces together and making them fit, they follow the story through and never fail to disappoint. Thank you, ladies, for once again giving us the Bailey’s lives and in colour.
Savannah and Liam are smoking hot!!! Lana~White Hot Reads
Savannah is having trouble dealing with her feelings for Liam.
You see he is her brothers’ best friend and younger than she is. She has always had to hold down the fort as the second oldest Bailey sibling and gave up part of herself while doing it. Liam brings out the side that has been locked away and she’s scared. Note only does he help her but she ends ups learning a thing or two about herself.
If you want a fun ride with a crazy family through a quirky small town than grab your copy of Falling for my Brother’s Best Friend!
I love this entire Bailey family! They are fun, sweet and always there to support one another. Add in the crazy small town where everyone is in everybody’s business and a kiss can make the front page of the local gossip column, and Liam and Savannah find it challenging to keep their budding relationship a secret.
They have known each other for years, are complete opposites but are both definitely attracted to the other.
So Liam decides to guide her on the path of rediscovering herself. The one she lost when her parents died and she took on the heavy responsibility of raising her siblings and running the family business. His motivation is to finally win her and her heart. He just has to break down her walls and show her what she is missing and he hopes she realizes it him!
Oh how I have waited for Savannah and Liam’s story, and Piper Rayne did not disappoint.
This story starts out fast, no long drawn out minutiae and I loved it! You get to the good part, the day after…the fallout from the wedding!
Now if you haven’t read any of the stories in this series, don’t fear. You can totally read this as a stand-alone, but trust me…you are going to want to read all of them.
I loved the reverse age gap! As Savannah wrote in an autograph..”The future is female” and I embraced her girl power. It’s sad that there is still a stigma on the whole older woman, younger man and I admired that Piper Rayne wrote this story the way they did.
It was refreshing to see that Savannah has vulnerabilities. I empathized with her feelings of being overwhelmed and losing herself. Nobody really saw her. Well nobody but Liam.
Oh Liam, this is a true man…he is fierce, he is flawed and he is the soft place for Savannah to fall when she needs him. He too has his fears and he struggles with them just like everyone does.
Thank you, Piper & Rayne, for writing this story, heck for this whole family! You have really outdone yourself with the town of Lake Starlight and all of its inhabitants.
I just finished the arc and what a book! I loved it so much! Liam is such a sweetheart. Savannah really needed him in her life. They were the perfect match. I couldn’t put this book down. It was so amazing. Well worth the wait!
Oh how I love the Baileys! Such an amazing family! We visit with Liam Kelly and Savannah Bailey in this installment. And oh boy do we get our fill! I mean really did you think the tatted up ‘bad’ boy was going to just walk in and sweep strong, stubborn Savannah into falling in love with him easily? NOPE. It took a serious amount of work and meddling from Grandma Dori, of course.
Love the hilarity of Piper & Rayne in all of their books, but I have to say this is my favorite. I read it in a few hours, and really hated for it to end. OOOH the ending, we get a glimpse of Denver’s story, and BOY OH BOY does it look amazing!!!
Piper Rayne is one of my go to authors for a fun contemporary romance. This is the fourth in the Bailey series, each book highlighting a different romance trope. Savannah Bailey is the second oldest of nine children. When her parents die suddenly, she at the age of 19, along with her brother Austin, take on the responsibility to raise her siblings. While Austin taught at the high school and took point on raising the other siblings, Savannah took on the responsibility of running the family lumber mill. Since she had to grow up so quickly, she needs order and suppresses her own needs. Liam Kelly is Savannah’s younger brothers’ (twins Rome and Denver) best friend. He has had a crush on Savannah since is was twelve and she was seventeen. While Savannah is attracted to Liam, she doesn’t want to act on it since she is five years older and he is her brothers’ best friend. Through the first three books, Liam and Savannah keep sniping at each other, so you know there is some pent up attraction there. Liam is a great character, and he brings out the best in Savannah. Piper Rayne has written another winner. I received an arc of this book from the author for my honest review.
If I could give this more that 5 stars I would! I absolutely loved Savannah and Liam and their story was so worth the wait!
Savannah had to grow up quickly with her being the second oldest bailey and her parents dying when she was just 19, the responsibility of running the family business fell to her along with the joint care of her younger siblings with her older brother Austin. With such a lot of responsibility at such a young age she forgot how to have fun and be happy.
Liam, has pretty much always loved Savannah but being 5 years younger than her and the added complication of being best friends with her brothers it was never going to be easy.
There’s always fire works with the two of them are in the same room! Loved their story and can’t wait for the next one in the Bailey series.
