The course of young love is never easy
Falling for Hudson is the second book in the Ashland series. This story is all about young love and the full roller-coaster ride that comes with it. It is about Chloe and Hudson and their journey is anything but easy. It is complicated, interesting and involves loss, love, betrayal, misunderstandings, hurt and more. I liked this book and thought the writing was good and the story was nicely developed.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This is book 2 in this series and can be read as a stand-alone. I haven’t read the first book yet but it’s next on my list. Hudson and Chloe have a very rocky start to their relationship. Chloe is suffering after the sudden loss of both her parents. Hudson has been her rock through it all. Hudson and his brother Jax are in a bad with their friends and just signed a recording contract. Chloe drinks to dull her pain and this causes problems. Plus there’s a mix of feelings of love, Lust and in love. Then there’s sadness, betrayal, confusion and misunderstanding and eventually forgiveness and healing. This story definitely makes you want to read the rest of the books to understand better the dynamics of the rest of the characters.

This book was great. Really enjoyed the stories and the characters. These small town romances are great. Received an arc via booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
A phenomenal book two in the Ashland series! It is well written, well developed, engaging, emotionally deep, and enjoyable with drama, lack of communication, ups and downs and will take you on a roller coaster of emotions; scenes will make you tear up, break your heart, laugh out loud, smile, or just shake your head. The characters you will love and root for. Strongly recommended!

Fantastic story! Characters that will steal your heart. A storyline that keeps you on the edge of your seat and glued to your kindle! For me it was a love- hate deal as the characters face their demons. You will feel their emotions and struggles. A definite must read.
Young love…
I wanted to smack the heroine at times but I was a huge fan of the hero, such a patient guy. I LOVE rock music so anything featuring a band member gets my attention. Not long into the read I was getting a sense of deja vu & when I clicked to post this I see I got the book in 2017! It was still a good, albeit a reread story of friends to so much more. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
WOW! I mean just wow! The first book was good but I believe this one was so much better and way more emotional. If you get into your story/book you will cry or tear up with this one. Chloe is such a strong girl with everything she went through. Yeah some of it she brought on herself but for the most part how would a seventeen year old handle something like that. It’s devastating. Hudson is so much more mature than his seventeen years say. He’s there for Chloe from day one…until that one night when everything changes. Will they ever get to the bottom of it ? Will she ever be able to be whole again? Will she decide to live?
