Oh, my gosh. I laughed throughout this one! Falling for Her Manny is the second in the Single in the City rom-com series and it is hilarious. You have the husband who ran out for diapers for the Triple Threat the day they came home from the hospital who never returned, the manny who is trying to prove to his girlfriend’s snotty parents that he is husband material, the mom who is just trying to survive and provide the best life possible for her children, and of course, the Triple Threat. Put all of that together and you get a wonderfully entertaining story that will have you laughing and swooning at the same time. Oh, it will also make you want to slap a few people upside the head! This is pure entertainment.
Mel and her husband married young and wanted children. Because of an incident where one of Mel’s ovaries were removed, she under went hormone therapy to assist with them having children and were not counting on having triplets. Her husband went out one night for diapers and never returned leaving Mel to handle everything on her own. Blake is dating Jen a wealthy young woman whose parents don’t think he has what it takes to be a husband to their daughter and father to their grand children. When he saw the ad for a nanny, he jumped at the opportunity so that t will help him prove to Jen he was all in for them. What Blake didn’t expect was the bond that would develop between him and Mel’s children or the feelings that he would have for Mel. As they come to terms about their feelings, Mel’s ex will resurface and interference from Jen’s father just might bring their relationship to a stop. Do they have what it takes to go the distance? I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.
This was a book truly unlike any other I’ve ever read—and I mean that in the best way possible. Mel and Blake had great chemistry that built up over the course of their friendship/manny-ship and was believable. I love how Tia made her characters relatable and their relationship realistic. It’s a Sweet and savory read with a fulfilling happily ever after.

-‘Her kids were soul-sucking’-
I laughed so hard from the first page all the way through. Uproariously funny romantic comedy. Really fast-paced and so fun to read! An absolute delight. Any parent or babysitter will relate to the antics these kids played. I love this author’s work and I recommend it without hesitation.
Mel is a single mom with triplets and she can barely make ends meet. Her children, aptly named “The Triple Threat”, terrorize every nanny they have and leave everyone exhausted. Mel reluctantly hires Blake in desperation. Blake doesn’t need the money but he needs to prove to his girlfriend’s parents that he would make a good father before they will give their blessing for marriage to their daughter. Mel needs to keep her job and can’t afford to take any more time off. Will Blake last the six weeks needed – or will the triplets drive him away?
-‘After the coffee shop incident yesterday, Mel had little fight left. The triplets won. They broke her spirit. She was one step away from babbling incoherently from a wheelchair with a little string of spittle hanging from her bottom lip for the rest of her days. She was that close to the brink of insanity.’-
-‘BY FRIDAY, BLAKE HAD decided that mothers were inhuman. There was no way they could do this day in and day out and survive if they were mortal…The Triple Threat were not normal kids. They were kids on speed.’-
I really liked the interaction between the characters. The chemistry was hot. The plot was realistic. I absolutely loved everything about it.
