He goes by the book.
She bends the rules.
They might be perfect for each other…if they can just stop fighting long enough to find out.
Lena has never been lucky in love. After a string of bad relationships, she’s sworn off men altogether. When the new police chief, Gage Turner, blows into town, his teasing smile and easy charm may work on everyone else, but Lena’s not interested.
Not at all.… everyone else, but Lena’s not interested.
Not at all.
Okay, so he smells nice, and he’s kind of handsome, plus he’s got that whole man-in-uniform thing working for him, but the guy’s a stubborn and arrogant jerk. On top of that, he won’t stop writing Lena parking tickets.
This means war.
The battle of wills is on. Add in an adorable puppy, a group of nosy matchmakers, a no-holds-barred, town-wide scavenger hunt, and a car jammed full of packing peanuts, and it’s bound to be a wild ride.

Gage is the new Chief of Police and Lena pushes his buttons. Put together for a scavenger hunt, can they put aside the tension and win? Loved the storyline and the ending.
This book was gripping, well written & the chemistry between the characters sizzled throughout this wonderful read.
Well done Tami. I look forward to more!
Love the bantering and pranks between Gage and Lena. Great continuation of the series.
I love Lena! (And Gage isn’t half-bad either… 😉 )
Seriously, this is such a charming series! I love the quirky folks of Holiday Junction and the small-town shenanigans, especially as seen in this battle of wills between headstrong Lena and straightlaced new-Sheriff-in-town Gage.
The Matchmaking Mamas are at their meddling best, with a little help from Lena’s BFF Vi (and, by extension, Kade).
She’s the town sweetheart, he’s the big city cop with a tude.
And he’s not getting her ice cream.
Gage Turner is the new sheriff in town, who promptly starts writing tickets to Lena left and right.
Lena is first and smart and finds a way to rectify the no parking behind her ice cream shop.
These two are at odds (Gage even thinks her brother is her BF at one point) until they are paired up with the towns treasure hunt.
Fun and flirty.
Recommend.

Lena hasn’t had the best of luck with romantic relationships in her life so she has sworn off men. Even when Gage, the new guy in town, with his smile and looks can’t grab her interest.
Gage is the new Chief of Police and just wants peace and quiet. The problem is Lena is challenging him every chance she gets and driving him crazy.
Being teamed up for the town scavenger hunt, they have to get along and that may just lead to each of them taking down their fences and actually have fun together. Having fun together may just lead to having a HEA together as well. I guess opposites to attract.
A fun and entertaining read, great characters, and a great story line.

Another well written book to the Holiday Junction series. This is Gage and Lena’s story. Their characters are strong and well developed. The author does a great job building the story and describing her scenes perfectly. It’s an entertaining romance filled with laughter and love. The story moves quickly and smoothly and I enjoyed reading.

This was the second book in the Holiday Junction Series and was an enjoyable read. I loved the back and forth banter between Lena and Gage. They were so perfect for each other but it took them a while to figure it out. A cute enemies to lovers romance that was fun and entertaining to read. I read an arc via Booksprout and voluntarily chose to review.
I can’t say enough good things about this book. It’s funny, heartwarming, paced well and just such a enjoyable read that I just want to re-read over and over again. Especially when I have the whole series so I can just binge read them all together. Happy reading!!
He’s the new chief in town and he is making Lena’s life miserable. She never got parking tickets until the new chief arrived and now it’s all out war. They have a love hate relationship going. Her mom is trying to get them together but Lena wants nothing to do with the infuriating man. Could it be that they dance around what the real problem which is they are captivated with the other but refuse to admit it!

Lena’s Lucky Charm
This is the first book I have read from this author, and the only one from the series.
Tami Franklin pens a fun short holiday themed story, in a series of standalone books, which I really enjoyed. I recommend her books if they’re all this good.

This was a fun, quick, sweet read. I instantly connected with the characters and enjoyed watching them change throughout the book. I wouldn’t have minded it being a bit longer to go a little deeper, but it was a fun, holiday romance. If you like Sarah Monzon, I think you’ll like Tami Franklin.
Lena has sworn off men after a painful experience. She can’t stand when someone tries to control her and thinks that she is not important.
Gage likes peaceful but rebellious Lena drives him crazy.
Two very different people but both are honest and good, that just see things through different lenses.
I like a lot of things in the book: the jokes Lena plays on him and the answer of Gage to them, the Matchmaking Mamas and their plotting, how Lena and Gage start getting to know each other, the Treasure Hunt which I would have liked to be longer.
A very enjoyable story.
Lena McKenna and the new police chief of Holiday Junction Gage Turner spar from day one when he gives her parking tickets for parking behind her ice cream shop, something that her family has done for years with no repercussions. Their war continues when he pulls her over for various other traffic violations and she pranks him about hitting his car and fills it with packing peanuts. I thought she was a little too hotheaded egging him on when she could have gotten out of some of her violations. She could have lost her license, which would have made it even harder to make deliveries to and from her store. What I don’t understand is why didn’t she park legally in a parking spot and move her car afterwards rather than park a block away and carry everything. The scavenger hunt and the puppy Bea Gage finds and adopts were cute. I loved the ice cream flavors Lena came up with and wished I could try some of them. There were plenty of funny moments in this Irish romance.
From the beginning I loved Lena… I connected to her and her spunkiness, her attitude and how she doesn’t take crap from anyone… Not even the new Chief of Police Gage. The back and forth between her and the Chief is hilarious, engaging and shows both are a force to be reckoned with. I laughed so many times, and felt like I was standing there watching it all unfold. I even wanted some of the ice cream it just sounded so yummy. This book has so much in it that you won’t want to put it down and fall in love with the characters. We also get a bit of characters from the first book… Which was fun to see. I can’t wait to see what happens in the 3rd book and how everyone is doing in Holiday Junction.

Just in time for St Patrick’s day
This is great and I read it just in time for St. Patrick’s day. I love St. Patrick’s day, it’s the day I went on my first date with my husband, so reading a romance in that setting was extra fun. Lena and Gage are likable and the story is sweet and fun. I love small town romances, and this small town of Holiday Junction seems perfectly charming. I kind of wish it were a real place.
This is the first book I’ve read in this series (stand alone), but I really enjoyed it and hope there are many others to come!

This book was as fun to read as ice cream is fun to eat.
Lena McKenna was was the ideal heroine with a smidge of kindness, as dash of obstinacy, a little orneriness, and a lot of fun.
I loved reading about her antics in the sweet, small-town of Holiday Junction!
