He goes by the book.
She bends the rules.
They might be perfect for each other…if they can just stop fighting long enough to find out.
Lena has never been lucky in love. After a string of bad relationships, she’s sworn off men altogether. When the new police chief, Gage Turner, blows into town, his teasing smile and easy charm may work on everyone else, but Lena’s not interested.
Not at all.… everyone else, but Lena’s not interested.
Not at all.
Okay, so he smells nice, and he’s kind of handsome, plus he’s got that whole man-in-uniform thing working for him, but the guy’s a stubborn and arrogant jerk. On top of that, he won’t stop writing Lena parking tickets.
This means war.
The battle of wills is on. Add in an adorable puppy, a group of nosy matchmakers, a no-holds-barred, town-wide scavenger hunt, and a car jammed full of packing peanuts, and it’s bound to be a wild ride.

This is the first book that I have read from Tami Franklin and I have to say I’m becoming a fan! This is an awesome story of two that are complete opposites but as I’m believer that is what makes a great long-lasting relationship. I was intrigued from the very beginning a banter between friend is too much, if that doesn’t hook you to keep reading then I don’t know what will. Lena is a strong headed woman who can tell you a thing or two without much thought and Gage is someone that is just following the rules as he is the new Chief of Police in Holiday Junction.
It is hilarious to see how this plays out especially when you have some Matchmaking Mama’s in the clan that knows what is best. I love these types of stories and I’m sorry to have missed book one, but I am looking to get it as I think I will enjoyed it.
I will not provide any spoilers for those who have not read the book, please get a copy as I promise it will make you laugh from beginning to end. Unknowing it is a stress reliever as laughter is all we need to make a good day great!

Wonderful Story
This is an excellent story. Love the characters and The town
Lena traveled the world, searching for something, what is was she didn’t know. After a life altering experience she returned home to Holiday Junction.
Gage , ‘Big City ‘ cop needing to get away from the crime and heartache, comes to Holiday Junction.
When these two meet? Watch out ! ** the story does include some mild talk of abuse but it is handled respectfully,
5 stars and a recommendation

This is a fun, light romance set in the mythical town of Holiday Junction, Washington. It’s coming on St Patrick’s Day, and this town takes every holiday seriously. There’s a new police chief in town who considers the job to be almost semi-retirement. Gage has seen too much as a big city police officer in Chicago and wants a quiet and peaceful life. He appreciates that his days as police chief are more about littering, traffic tickets, and helping neighbors rather than the violence he knew in Chicago. Lena runs an ice cream shop and is a part of a big Irish family. Her brother owns the Irish pub in town, and she and her family perform Irish music. She tends to be attracted to the alpha male type, she states, but her last couple of relationships have left a sour taste in her mouth about men in general and those types of men. She apparently needed therapy and support from family and friends to get past the last bad breakup. Sparks fly when these two meet and not of the romantic kind. Generations of her family who have run the confectionery have parked illegally behind the shop, and the chief issues her parking tickets. She gets quite incensed about this, and the battle is now on between them.
Will they get past this? Will he be able to stop thinking about this crazy woman when all he wants is a little peace and quiet? Will she be open to a relationship with him or anybody? Will the Matchmaking Mamas–as Lena’s mom and some of her cronies call themselves–meddle?
The dialogue in this book, especially between the various groups are friends, is warm and witty, reflecting the way we wish we could come up with the right thing to say at all times. I particularly loved the banter between Lena and her friends, as well as between their older counterpart, the Matchmaking Mamas. Honestly, the entire book is exceedingly pleasurable to read. It’s just light and fun with a little bit of quirkiness. I found myself just getting lost in the world created by the words, which is my highest praise for any book.
To make it even more delightful, the book was well edited and proofread. I think I might have seen one thing that I would have a quibble about, but other than that, there were no errors with grammar, punctuation, and spelling. That alone was refreshing. It allowed me just to sit back and immerse myself in the world of the book, enjoying the delightful interplay between all the inhabitants of Holiday Junction.
Book two in the Love in Holiday Junction series a well-written St. Patrick’s Day story that once I started reading I was not putting down. Lena McKenna and Sheriff Gage Turner’s story is one I enjoyed reading, both of them are not looking for love, they joke back and forth between themselves. The more they get to know each other their feels start to change. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a really fun sweet enemies to lovers romance. I really enjoyed Gage and Lena’s story they are great characters and I really enjoyed getting to know them. This is a good well written book and I would recommend it to all
I really enjoyed this book!! Lena and Gage were a hoot! Their bickering and bantering were so entertaining, I couldn’t decide on who to vote for. Granted, they both won in the end.
Written as a third person, multi pov with a HFN ending. This is a multi book series, but each book can be read as a stand alone. Characters from the previous book appear in this book, but do not take over the story. They became good supporting characters.
Strong story line. Awesome characters that were easy to become entertained by. The dialogue was engaging and the description to details were easy to visualize.
All in all, a great read.

This is the second book I’ve read by Tami Franklin and I’ve absolutely found a new favourite author. Lena and Gage’s chemistry jumped off the page from their very first meeting and only got better as their relationship progressed. There were sweet moments, funny moments, poignant moments which had me choked up and wanting to hug the characters…it was perfect. I can only hope to see more of these two and their at-times fiery relationship in the books to come. If I could give Lena’s Lucky Charm a hundred stars it still wouldn’t quite be enough.

This is a full length enemies to lovers story. One that will make you just call in love with the characters as well as the story. I couldn’t put it down, I needed to know what was going to happen next. It will not disappoint you and has a HEA. A definite must read that’s why I have it 5 stars!

Lena McKenna has had some bad experiences when it comes to men. She runs the ice cream store in town. She is content to just do that. Then the town hires a new chief of police who seems to have it out for her. After several parking tickets, she storms into his office. Gage Turner wants to live a peaceful life compared to what he had experienced being a big city cop. So being Chief of Police of this peaceful town seems perfect, that is until Lena challenges him at every chance she gets. He would be okay but he can’t stop thinking about her.
This funny, heartwarming, contemporary romance is the second book in the LOVE IN HOLIDAY JUNCTION series. It can be read as a standalone or even better as part of the series. Many of the same characters appear in each of the books and all the stories are set in the charming small town of Holiday Junction, WA. The characters are wonderfully done, with a dash of stubbornness, a pinch of kookiness, some mischievousness, and in general all that you would expect from a closely knit small town. The narrative is great giving you a sense of the story’s setting and Insight into the two main characters emotions, motivations and responses. The storyline flows smoothly and quickly filled with humour, romantic moments, emotional drama and suspense. If you love well written, heartwarming small town romances, give this one a read.
