Captain Kirk, Spock, and Mr. Scott used the transporter to go to mystical, magical places. I just completed a similar journey, but I used the magical words of Laurie LeClair in her beautiful upcoming story, Falling for Her! I had never been to Cupid’s Corner. I look forward to returning many times! This is book #3 in the Cupid’s Corner series. It involves the relationship between childhood buddies Becca Thompson, who loves her family’s orchard, and Jason Fox, now a veterinarian in an adjacent town. They grew up next door to each other, sharing everything as the best of friends. Now, could there be more?
This story was so wonderful on so many levels! It’s a really fun read! In 2020, that’s a much-needed boost! The story line worked well. The sibling interaction was especially delightful. The settings were perfect. I loved the primary characters, Becca, Jason, and his four-legged buddies Brodie and Sadie! The supporting characters, Christopher, Stacy, Becca’s Mom, Jason’s Mom, and Mr. and Mrs. Valentine were intricate to the story. This is a wonderful story! So fun, I really enjoyed every page! I will be back to Cupid’s Corner, as quickly as I possibly can!
Falling For Her is the third title in the Cupid’s Corner series, and brings us a delightful friends-to-lovers story that will warm your heart this season. Jason and Becca had been childhood friends, but when Jason moved a few towns away to work in his mentor’s veterinarian practice distance kept them apart. Now, Jason has returned to Cupid’s Corner and both are a bit surprised when those steady, understood friendship feelings begin to move into the perhaps we’re falling in love territory.
Becca doesn’t feel that she’s accomplished much since high school or even college graduation. Yes, she’s returned home, to a small-town she loves and cannot imagine leaving, to work with her family at their local orchard. Becca decides to hold a fall festival at the orchard to not only showcase her family’s business but to also use it as a fundraiser for the local animal foster program.
Jason’s return home to recover from an injury has brought their friendship back full-force, and working together on the festival/fundraiser puts them in closer contact than they’ve had for years. Enough for them to realize that there is more going on between them than just a childhood friendship. The chemistry is strong, but the friendship is precious – are they willing to try for more, maybe admit to falling in love or avoid the conversation in order to keep the friendship safe?
I enjoyed Falling For Her, Becca and Jason’s romance is realistic, full of one kind of love moving in a different direction, friends, family, all the joys and annoyances of small towns… and pets, love the pets. I’ve fallen in love with Cupid’s Corner, the series, and the town. If you love a really good romance, believable people and circumstances, and that special sizzle of falling in love then you’d enjoy not only this story but this series as well.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher, Tule Publishing. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*
Falling for Her by Laurie LeClair

This is Becca Thompson and Jason Fox’s story.
Becca decides to organize a fall harvest festival and community fundraiser on her family’s orchard.
“I’m not giving up. I’ll get Becca to help me convince you.”
Becca gets more than she bargained for when she asks her childhood friend Jason to help.
Jason Fox blinked at the sight in front of him as he slowly got out of his old silver Suburban. The standard white TV-crew van was there with the station’s blue logo and the big satellite dish on top. A few other vehicles dotted the petting zoo farmyard—parked haphazardly on the muddy ground—with deep ridges from the tire tracks carved into the lawn.
The dozen or so people buzzing about with long mics, lights, shades, and blocks, and two cameramen, all toting the heavy equipment about, were a blur. However, nearby and the center of attention—a young female reporter—had two assistants as she fussed with them over getting her makeup and hair perfect.
Several things converged at the same time. This wasn’t normal for his weekly Wednesday veterinarian segment with the popular station. The usual older jovial host was nowhere in sight. The rookie afternoon anchor—on the job for three weeks—wore an electric-blue dress and matching heels of all things.
I highly recommend reading.
Falling for Her by Laurie LeClair is a 5 star book.

Becca Thompson has been feeling like something is missing in her life. She works on her family farm….and LOVES it but she still feels like she needs to do something special. When her best friend, Jason Fox comes back home to Cupid’s Corner for six weeks to recuperate from a broken arm, things feel different between the two of them. Suddenly they both are seeing each other in a different light.
When Becca comes up with with idea of having a Fall Harvest Festival at their family farm, Becca and Jason start spending a lot of time together. Of course the more time they spend together, the more their feelings for each other become more obvious. Jason is ready to jump in with both feet for a chance at a relationship with his best friend, but Becca is scared and keeps running away. It will take a huge act by Jason for Becca to realize what she has been looking for is standing right in front of her but once she does realize it, she will finally get her happy ending.
I enjoyed this story. The characters were nice, thoughtful people who deserved a happy ending. Their romance was very sweet and slow moving. Overall, this was an enjoyable story with a happy ending.
A sweet best friends to lovers romance. Becca and Jason have been best friends since an early age, everyone else saw they should be together but both were afraid to ruin their friendship. Jason has returned home and is helping Becca at the apple farm while recovering for a broken arm. Becca works at the family farm and it’s her whole life. Jason is a veterinarian and a dog rescuer. Both have strong family values.
Loved this sweet romance with plenty of family and dogs that will leave you smiling through out the story. This is the third book in the series but can be read as a stand alone. The perfect read with all of the fall warm feelings.
I received this arc from Tule Publishing in exchange for an honest review. This was the 3rd book in the series of stories taking place in Cupid’s Corner. This sweet romance was about Becca Thompson and Jason Fox who were best buddies and their families lived next door to each other. It had been Becca and Jason against the world. Jason was a veterinarian and lived in a town a little distance away. Becca remained in Cupid’s Corner, helping her family run their apple orchard after graduating from college. However, the last almost year, Jason hadn’t been home and felt disconnected.
Jason, aka, Doctor Doolittle, also worked with dog adoption groups and tried to help foster them. In addition, when his mentor left, he took over his spot on a Television show where he tried to spotlight his group’s dogs for adoption. He had a mishap on the show and ended up with a broken arm and an angry boss who made him leave until his arm healed. Jason had his own devoted dog Brodie and was looking out for a foster girl dog, Sadie. His landlord won’t let him keep more than 1 dog so he decides to come home with the dogs and stay there for the recovery.
Becca decides she needs to help improve business for the orchard as well as get some donations for the foster pets organization. She devises a plan to have a Fall Festival on the weekend of her upcoming school homecoming/10th reunion. She enlists Jason’s help along with their families and other townspeople. During all their interactions, both she and Jason notice things feel different between them. She tries to deny it and keep it as friends only as she’s afraid of losing her best friend. The reader is treated to some angst as both characters decide what to do.
It is a very pleasant read. The characters are so likable and the story unfolds like a hallmark movie. The town is charming and makes you want to visit. I highly recommend this book.

This book is a true example of friends to lovers a super sweet romance where you can’t help but fall in love with the characters For once we have a wonderful hero who isn’t all alpha and in your face I absolutely adored him and this book
Becca Thompson and Jason Fox have been nest friends most of their lives and as Becca questions what she has achieved in life they reconnect and maybe this time they will be more to one another. Jason is a vet who been injured has returned home to recuperate there he reconnects with Becca as she organises a fund raiser at her family orchard. They may have always been best friends but now they are looking at one another in an entirely new light Can they have a future together You will have to read to see
I would love to visit a real live place like Cupid Corner. Author Laurie LeClair has created a wonderful small town that anyone would love to live in or visit. This is the third book in this series and while you do not have to read books 1 & 2 before reading this one to follow along I would highly suggest reading them at some point just so you will get the full effect of this quaint and quirky little town.
In this book Thompson’s Farm is the main focal point and we get to see why Becca Thompson is so loved by the town and Jason Fox or Dr Doolittle as he is known to so many. Best friends throughout high school and afterwards many wonder why these two were never more that that. Separated by a few towns because Cupid’s Corner doesn’t have a small vet center and well Becca would never leave her beloved town for good. This is one of those books that has one thinking you know all the answers and then wow life throws a right turn at ya.
I am so looking forward to the next addition in this amazing little town of Cupid Corners.
Falling for Her is the third book in the Cupid’s Corner Series by Laurie LeClair. Best friends finding true love together is one of my favorite tropes. Add the Fall Harvest Fundraiser to this charming couple, you wind up with an enchanting story.
This story worked for me from beginning to end. That characters are small town normal especially the siblings and the four-legged fur friends. The town is a place you would want to live. The plot is well constructed flowing so that it is engaging. Can’t wait for the next visit to Cupid’s Corner.
An ARC of the book was given to me by Tule Publishing which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
I loved these characters and the fact that the author included dogs as a big part of the story was just the cherry on top. While the story was somewhat predictable it was also very refreshing. I loved Mr and Mrs. Valentine what a sweet couple they were hard not to love. I did not read the other books in the series so I can’t tell you if there was any follow up on other characters. I like Stacy she jumped on the pages and seem to be a great sister and didn’t take much from Jason she didn’t give back. I liked that the author kept this book a clean read so that it would be suitable for all. Overall this book was a quick read and I really enjoyed it. I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
This is an endearing and engaging story of love developing between long time friends. It is not an easy route as she has big fears and overcoming them may be impossible.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
