Another great read from Mia and Bella. Love these two ladies. This book had me at the edge of my seat. At first, I really hated Neil, but towards the end he did redeem himself. I kinda hoped Fay was a little stronger than she was but I still adored her. didn’t give this book 5 stars only because I would like to have known about Neil and the reasons he left in the first place. But all in all it was a phenomenal book.

But since his father passed, he has to go back. She has always been there and loved him for years, never stopping. He is the guy that does not want a relationship. While him you want to kick him in the nads and punch him in the face. With the past the way it was, could these two get a HEA?

Does he deserve a second chance….
Falling for Her is the love story of Fay and Neil. They were high school sweethearts but Neil left town for college as soon as he was able to without every looking back, leaving Fay there without a word. But now he has come back to town after the death of his father. He sees have again and something deep within him starts to burn. Quickly Neil decides that Fay is the woman for him. She is still in love with him even after all these years. But that does not mean they will have an easy journey in this angsty story with a number of unexpected twists. Neil learns that sometimes what you really need is exactly where you left it so long ago.
This book is a republication from a few years ago but it is still a great read. The story-line is a true romance with lots of twists and emotions and the characters are both very likeable, along with the supporting characters. This was a really nice read.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
This is the 1st in a new series and is Neil and Fay’s story. These two were high school sweethearts, and Neil could not wait to leave their hometown behind, while she wanted to stay, and she is left heartbroken when he left. Now years later Neil is back home due to a bereavement, and the girl he was hoping to avoid is Fay who is working in the diner. Will these two get a 2nd chance at love? This is a good story which is filled with turn=moil, emotions, and is a steamy love story. I look forward to reading more from this talented author.
Can a high school romance be rekindled when one party leaves without cutting things off? After 10 years Neil is forced to come back to Alaska. Once there he sees his high school sweetheart Faye. Oh what emotions that brings up in them both. Neil is a selfish prick that eventually sees the light and changes his ways. Faye is just the sweetest most trusting girl out there. Maybe a little naive but when you’re all trusting that usually comes with the territory. Can Faye forgive him for leaving? Will they be able to rekindle their love? Will Faye leave Alaska or will Neil stay in Alaska…that is the bigger question?

A feel good second chance romance…
The story itself has been covered by the many reviews so I won’t rehash it. It is a sweet & sexy story about reflection & realisation & a second chance with his innocent high school sweetheart. An easy read with relatable characters. I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary review.
Neil and Fay meet again years after he left Alaska. To be honest, I thought Neil was quite selfish and never cared properly or enough about Fay (just my opinion). Faye is really sweet though I wish she was a bit more emotionally stronger. Her BFF Courtney had her back when it counted but I thought she was super abrasive and not too nice to Fay either.
I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion.
I think this story could have been written better with the characters and understanding each one. We know that Neil left and was never returning to Alaska. Fay was in love with Neil in high school, but Neil left. When Neil’s father passes he has to return. Will he catch Fay’s eyes again? Will Fay catch Neil’s eyes again? Will Neil be able to fall in love or will he fight it tooth and nail? Can Fay give him a chance or was the heartache to much?

A true fairy tale. A quick second chance romance that pulls on your heartstrings.
Fay is such a sweet character. I really like that she never compromises her beliefs and principles and keeps true to her heart. Neil isn’t as likable as Fay. In fact, he is more of an ass than not in most of the book.
What bothers me a bit is that Fay never asks Neil why he left her and Ashville, Alaska when they were eighteen. She accepts that Neil wrote her off and their hometown without a second thought. So, when he comes back to the small town nearly a decade later Fay puts her whole heart into the hope of Neil being that Prince Charming from all the romance novels she has read and sweeps her off her feet and stays with her this time.
Good, enjoyable and a picture perfect happily ever after.
I read it, but really didn’t like the friend, didn’t think it was that well written and will take a pass on future endeavors by this author.
