Hope Kennard left Hasebury Hall—her ancestral home in Wiltshire—to travel the world in search of new and exciting adventures. Her new motto: No scandal, no betrayal, no family baggage and definitely no regrets! Freedom suits her, right up until she ends up in the sunkissed island principality of San Michele and meets mysterious forest ranger Jonas Reval. He’s as secretive as she is skittish but … but he’s also everything she’s ever wanted in a man.
Jonas knows all about duty and the burdens of marrying to meet family expectations. But he can be himself around Hope and he sets about wooing her without taking advantage of all the considerable resources at his disposal. It’s just him, and her, what’s more it works. Right up until Hope discovers that one pesky little detail he’s sort of forgotten to mention: He’s not just a part-time forest ranger and integral member of the family law firm. He’s charming, lying Prince Jonas Reval of San Michele.
And the fantasy Hope’s been spinning comes tumbling down…

I wish authors wouldn’t leave a reader hanging.
Laugh out loud.
Such a cute story – girl meets prince (in disguise) love story. Want to read more!
Nice short read. I enjoyed it.
A prince and commoner fall in love. Ups and downs, all ending happily. A lesson that love doesn’t have to be about royalty. Love crosses boundaries
Really good book!
A quick fun read
Good light read
Haven’t read it
Typical dream romance. A quick read to enjoy a break from serious reading matter.
Sweet and lovely escape.
This is a sweet story of a woman who meets a really nice guy, has fun with him, develops real feelings, and then finds out that he is a prince. You would think that the girl would be excited, however, her father was a thief and she had to live with the press making her life miserable. So, the guy is awesome, but he equals being in the public eye. It’s not something that she wants anything to do with……
Great story–a typical lighthearted romance of a minor prince and a non-royal girl who has little interest in becoming fodder for the papparazzi. The characters are likeable, there is decent plot develoment, and the story moves along briskly.
Sweet read.
Easy read. Enjoyed the journey the characters took in the story.
I finished this story but couldn’t ever really get into it.
Thought the storyline was great. well written
Very much enjoyed this book.
Great story line
A beauty and the beast style story that covered all the bases. Only both characters were strong and vulnerable until each discovered to trust his and her self.
