Each book that I discover by Stephie Walls just keeps getting better and beter. Fallen Woman definitely did not disappoint. Each of the characters were put together perfectly that there was no way that I could not put this book down. This book was one that would pull on your heart-strings and didn’t release you until the end. The story of Gia and Jase was one that is a Cinderella story that anyone that has been in Gia’s shoes would dream of. There wasn’t any part that I would of changed, everything that happened made the characters who they were. And it was the character along with the ability for Stephie Walls to tell a story that will make this one stay with the reader long after they are done reading.
Stephie Walls is a new author to me. Her newest novel was mentioned in a reading group to me. I thought I would try it out. I’m so glad I did! I will be finding her other novels now to read.
What would you do for your children? If you had left a poor life and worked your way up and then have it ripped from you and you were back at were you started but worse off since debt had piled up.
Being a widow and mother to 3 children under the age of 4 and one that is chronically ill. You would do just about anything to get out of the mess. And that’s just what Gia did when she met Jase and his friends.
They were welcoming and wonderful and Gia was falling in love with Jase. But in a turn of events it went down hill fast and yet she stayed strong and fought through it. This was an amazing book and differently worth the read!
Stephie Walls does it again for me, another 5 star read. Gia and Jase’s story I assumed would be the same as all the others I’ve read. Down on her luck girl, well off boy, sex and they live happily ever after. Boy oh boy was I so wrong, this is the story of heartbreak, fighting to claw your way back and digging deep when you can’t dig anymore. I find Stephie’s writing so beautiful and descriptive that I am living what the characters do as I am reading. Laughing, crying, gasping, shaking my head all occur as I read this book. What a wonderful story of a truly strong female character who isn’t perfect, but knows what she believes in and fights to get the life she knows she deserves
I absolutely loved this story. Stephie Walls knows how to turn words into something beautiful. Fallen Women was a book that you shouldn’t start at 11pm. I couldn’t put it down. My bladder hated me and my eyes were filled with tears.
If you have read any of Stephie’s books you know that you can relate to her characters, no matter what they are going through. The emotions are real and raw. She gives you the happy giggles and the I want to throw my kindle.
Her characters Gia, Jace and Miss Pearl are people you want in your life. Everyone needs and deserves a Miss Pearl. I fell in love with her instantly and felt like I knew her personally.
There are so many more things I could write but I don’t want to spoil the story for you.
