Did you know ordinary people can be turned into demons? I sure as f#ck didn’t. Until it happened to me.One day, I was a regular college student, working a boring job and studying for finals—and the next, I was transformed into some strange creature of the night. Now I’ve got powers I don’t understand, I can change my appearance with a thought, and I’m having all kinds of odd… cravings. If I thought … kinds of odd… cravings.
If I thought all this bullshit was gonna get me out of going to college though, I’ve got another think coming. Nope, I still need an education. Except the classes at Fallen University are on things like “Curses and Hexcraft” and “Magical Combat”.
It’s not all bad. There are these four hot as hell guys I keep bumping into—Kingston, Jayce, Xero, and Kai. I’m not sure if I should trust them; they’ve each got secrets of their own, and they’re definitely dangerous.
But that craving I’ve been having?
It’s pulling me right toward them.
Yup, things are about to get real interesting at FU.
This is book one of the Fallen University trilogy, a reverse harem romance with a slightly snarky heroine and four sexy, supernatural men. It includes cursing and lots of steam and is intended for readers 18+.

Another excellent reverse harem! I absolutely adore succubi, so it was refreshing to see one as the MC after a long while! The worldbuilding is wonderful, and the characters…don’t even get me started on the characters! From the MC, her four guys, not to mention the MC’s best friend who quickly became my fave, they had awesome personalities that created superb chemistry and interactions. I devoured all three books in the series!
This was such an amazing and fun read. I loved all the characters. Love to see Piper take no bull from anyone and still have a heart of gold and her BFF Hannah who was shy and anxious at the beginning and see her blossom by the end gets badass with magic. The guys are awesome and i can’t wait to see what happens when Kai accept is bond with Piper !! I sooo recommend this read!!
I received a free copy of this book and am volontarily leaving a review.
Piper was having a really bad day. taken and turned into a demon. She was in an alternate universe arriving at Fallen University. If you don’t make it here, you end up going to Hell. This story is about how she and her fellow classmates adapted to Fallen University. There are the typical cliques. mean girls, the smart ones, the quiet ones, and then is her harem.
Lia Holland narration is excellent and a joy to listen to!

Fallen University: Year One by Callie Rose is a reverse harem paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Lia Holland.
I absolutely love Callie’s books! They always leave me begging for more. I loved the chemistry between Piper, Kingston, Jayce, Xero, and Kai. I really enjoyed the fact it wasn’t insta-love between the characters and that they had to work at the connection between them all.
The book does end on a cliffhanger but that wasn’t a surprise since it’s the first book in the series. I can’t wait to dive into the next book.
Lia did a great job on the narration. I loved that she used different voices/tones for each character. It really brought the story to life.
I would recommend this book if you like reverse harems or paranormal romances.

Hm, well that was interesting.
The story really sucks you in, and you slowly fall for each of the characters. You can’t help but want more after every turn of a page. This really is worth the read. And a few laughs here and there make it even better.
Piper turns into a demon unexpectedly, along with Hannah–a girl she didn’t even know and just met while trying to shake off a stalker. After almost being sent off into the underworld, she and Hannah are both sent to FU where they are taught how to become defenders…of humanity? Well anyway, after these crazy turn of events, turns out Piper ends up bonding with 4 strangers that could not be more different in every aspect of the word. Then crazy things start happening at the school that has never happened before. And somehow, she and her men have to find a way to work together or she could just very much lose her life in the end.
That cliffhanger really was unexpected. Did not see that coming. What the true purpose was, I don’t know but I guess I am about to find out.
Really worth the read if you’re looking for a fun read.
Wow what a well crafted beginning to a new series were the students and the university are strictly paranormal along with the course of study. Callie of course has added some love interest and a heroine who is trying to make heads or tails out of her new existence, plus some action and suspense for good measure. Can’t wait to see where she goes next in this storyline.
Lia did an outstanding job in the narration.

This is a very enjoyable, imaginative, well written story.
I love the basic concepts of the worldbuilding and the characters are developed so well that they are well rounded and believable.
Action packed, funny and emotional.
Highly recommended!!
5 stars for Fallen University year one by Callie Rose. This book is different from other paranormal romances. Piper and Hannah are turned into demons and then brought to Fallen University/ FU by the custodians. Piper is a succubus (which we do not know at first) and has an instant attraction to 4 different types of demons, Kia, Kingston, Xero, and Jayce. I loved the story line in this book. I was instantly drawn in. Piper is an awesome , bada** heroine . She is sassy and a fighter and I just love her character.
“Pro tip: Any household object can be weaponized as long as you put enough force behind your blow. Remember that-it just might save your life.”
I am loving this trilogy so far and I am starting book 2 now.
I could not stop listening to this book. I am so glad that I the next book lined up and ready to play. Imagine being chased down the street, to run into a girl who helps save you. Then, just as you are getting acquainted, she is taken away. When you wake up, your appearance is not what it once was. That is how Piper’s story begins. Hannah instantly becomes her best friend as they try to figure out what has happened to them. Piper is such a strong and independent woman. I enjoyed her attitude as she tried to accept her fate. When she instinctively kisses Kingston, Jayce, Xero, and Kai, she binds with them, and this story gets intense! The steam really heats up and those bonds grow stronger. Piper and Hannah learn about being a demon and their powers. This story is not one I could put down, I had to listen until the end and then load up the next book to find out more. It is such an addictive story that draws you in and does not let go. I loved everything about it.
Lia Holland is becoming one of my new favorite narrators. With her easy to listen to voice, she brings this story to life. Her narration of Piper is exactly as I imagined Piper. Ms. Holland narration brought out the suspense and drama as it unfolded and drew me into the story. Ms. Holland’s narration enhanced the experience.
What an interesting story. Fallen University Year One was fast paced, steamy and action packed. This reverse harem paranormal story had me hooked from beginning to end and I really enjoyed it. I loved the storyline, it was unlike anything I’ve read. I loved the characters, learning about them and seeing them all bond slowly over time. The story had humour, mystery, steamy scenes, and a cliff-hanger ending that will leave you shocked speechless. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. Fallen University was a fascinating page-turner and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of Paranormal RH romances.
I listened to the audible version of this novel which was narrated by Lia Holland. She did a phenomenal job portraying these characters. Her voice was clear and understandable and her pace and timing was on point. I loved listening to her narrate this novel.

This is an interesting plot line where humans can be turned into demons. I found it a bit lacking in how they can be turned, the types of demons, the powers or demons, and the influence they have in the world the author built. The characters seemed well built with individual backstories. While the connection the two girls have after being attacked that continues through the story seemed quick it was understandable since they went through a huge traumatic event together but I would’ve liked to see some more bonded and strife between the two as they found their way to becoming permanent aspects of each other’s lives. The story mostly focused on the main characters relationship with her (randomly selected?) bonded guys and the events terrorizing the school. I liked how the story progressed, but I would’ve liked to see more depth into life at the academy such as struggles in her classes or excelling as the academy feels just like a background setting for the books instead part of the plot.
This was my first time reading anything by Callie Rose. I was nervous because of the paranormal academy genre has had a big influx and I was hoping it wouldn’t blend in with the others. I can say it didn’t and I enjoyed listening and getting to know the characters.
Good job by Lia Holland in the narration of Fallen University: Year One. I haven’t listened to her before and I was happy she didn’t make me cringe or anything haha. I can be kinda picky but she definitely passed the test and I would listen to her again. I thought she did a great job with the MC and her bff, along with Kingston. Some of the other side characters were distinguishable so I commend her for that! It was sometimes hard to figure out if Xero or Kai was talking if they were all in a group, and I wasn’t a fan of Jayce but I think it was more because of his personality of being a hippie/surfer haha. Nothing really on the narrator.
For the story, I would give it 3.5 stars. I liked the concept but the story in the audiobook (it could have been edited/updated in the ebook but I am solely basing my review on the audio version) has some missing holes. I think some details were randomly slipped in without any context. Maybe it was edited and the lead in was removed but it caused some odd transitions for me (like her shape shifting ability, along with her persuasion). All of a sudden when she shrunk down in a battle in her combat class, I was surprised and had to rewind to see if I missed something. Overall, all I think this story needs is an added edit/fleshing out of some parts, but it was a good base for me. I wasn’t 100% drawn in by her guys weirdly enough. Like, I enjoyed the MC (sometimes she got a little repetitive, but like I said, something that could be edited next time). The guys were a little confusing to me. I think by the end of the book I liked them way more since we got more interactions and it didn’t feel like disjointed fumblings between them all. I was kinda disappointed the whole shifting/demon side wasn’t played off more and I want to know what Hannah is/her ability. There was a lot of potential with this story and I can see it being a good series. I am definitely going to listen to Book 2 once its available.

You will be on the edge of your seat from the very beginning in this book and will go for a ride with all the twists and turns throughout the whole thing! The ending is a bit bittersweet for some but definitely leaves you begging for more. I could not have asked for anything else in this book. Writing and narration is perfect!
Soooo good!!! Once I started I was completely and utterly hooked. I adored Piper from the very beginning. I loved all her guys even though some were reluctant and Jayce just went right along with it. I really can not wait for the next book to find out how they will all get through their situation.
This was a unique world the author created but I loved it. I felt this book had it all. Action, suspense, mystery, romance, and best of all lots of steamy scenes. It was fun and quite addictive! I can’t wait for the next audiobook in the series! The narrators voice was perfect for the character and helped bring the story to life!

Normally do not read alot in this genre with only a few able to capture my attention with these. This is my first time in reading this author with it being a recommend which in turn was able to get my attention. The story line intrigued me so I wondered in with after a few pages I soon forgot I was only going to stop a minute. Curiosity will grab you with especially the charisma of the main character. Piper will have her hands full in more ways than one. Fun is the number one class I had with this one with shame on this girl for getting me into this trilogy.
This book is ah-may-ZING!!!!!!! It’s been a while since I last rewarded a fifth star in one of my reviews, and all through
reading this book, the thought that five stars just aren’t enough, floated through my head. With that though, I award this book an easy 8.5 out of 5 stars. 🙂
I have been hooked on the story from the first chapter…I love Piper and the guys are all so different and all so yummy-licious! This is by far one of the best books I’ve read and it absolutely pains me that I have to wait a couple of months before I find out what happens next.
Callie Rose, you are a new author to me…and I’m sorry, but I’m going to be stalking you and vying for a spot as your new BFF!
