Hot rock star meets injured snowboarder. Even broken hearts can melt.
Viola
After a hit and run, my gold medal dreams are forced on hold. I can’t walk, let alone snowboard, and a wheelchair is my new way to get around.
Everything I worked for has been destroyed.
Then the world’s number one rock star strides into my life.
He’s staying in my castle and working with my family. I know he … staying in my castle and working with my family. I know he remembers the kiss we shared years ago, but Leo’s no longer the same man. Gone are the sexy smirks and chilled out vibe. I know why, and I want to hold him close and make him forget. How can I help him when I can’t even help myself?
Leo
I might be famous, but notoriety can’t fix a shattered heart. I’m alone in the world and drowning, except my contract calls for new songs, and soon.
I have to find my muse again.
Years ago, Viola McRae inspired my greatest hit. But now, she’s as damaged on the outside as I am on the inside. She’s wildly gorgeous, vulnerable, and I could so easily tap that hurt and turn it into song.
Yet saving my career could mean exposing Viola’s pain to the world. I might be damaged beyond repair, but can I really use Viola when that will only leave her more broken?

I loved Gordain in his book Hero, but after this book; BEST DAD EVER .
The youngsters had an moment when they were 17, now an couple years later, a lot has happened and both are broken in different ways..
I have selected several parts as notes in my ebook because it was so good, some moments I was laughing, than I was an melted puddle on the ground because of the hart warming scenes, or crying so loud because this book will have that effect on you .
Jolie really has outdone herself by writing this story and I can’t wait for her next book .

I’m a big fan of Jolie Vines’ Scots series with Scots, castles, mountains and romance!
This book was no exception following the romance of 2 teenagers each successful in their own field of snowboarding and rock both forced to show down by sad circumstances and bright back together to reinkindle their first love.

This was a good read. Viola and Leo met when they were 17. Then years passed and they see each other again. Of course they have some ups and downs. However, they end up getting their happy ending.
I knew Leo and Viola’s story would be good, but it was better than I even expected!
Upon learning that Viola’s story involved her getting badly injured, I was heartbroken. Having met her in previous books, I just knew her story would be about triumph and winning medals. How does a person — even a fictional character — come back from that? In Viola’s case, it takes a lot of hard work and the right support system.
After a major setback, Leo’s back on the come-up. He’s got one major hurdle put in place by someone who doesn’t have his best interests at heart. Loved his willingness to accept help, his loyalty, and his loving patience with regard to Viola. And of course, his and Gordain’s bromance is inspiring. Don’t we all want a strong, wise, patient dad like Viola’s?
I adore the way that Jolie writes. Every story is so heartbreaking yet so beautiful at the same time. Achingly romantic with steam that leaps off the pages. I’m completely obsessed. Viola and Leo were perfect for each other. Watching them heal and fall in love moved me and once again I found myself enthralled with the McRae family. I can’t get enough of her stories! For once though, I’m not excited for the next one so we’ll see. I don’t see the romance in MFM. Heat? Sure. The heart melting romance I usually get from her? No. Either way, read these books and the original series! You won’t regret it.

When I started reading this story, I could not put it down. I read the book in one day. This author is an awesome writer. I can not wait to read more of their books. Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.
WOW … this book is superbly written. A riveting book four in the Wild Scot series that is heartfelt, emotionally deep, engaging, consistent, witty, believable, and well developed. The characters are broken, layered, and real; their chemistry is off the charts and together they are able to deal with the ups and downs and twists and turns that come their way. This book will captivate you from page one and hold your interest until the very end. Definitely recommended!

Jolie Vines has quickly turned into one of those authors who I know that when I pick up one of their books, I’m getting magic. Her writing is flawless, her characters heartfelt, strong, and swoon-worthy. This is probably, technically a rock star or sports romance, but really, it’s the feels that keep you involved over the trope or the plot. I loved Leo and Viola. A total MUST READ and one of Jolie’s best books to date! So good!
Viola has had her dreams swept out from under her by an accident. Leo is a man she knew tears ago as a boy that now is a broken man. These characters are amazing and the chemistry is undeniable. The storyline has so much emotions at times it left me turning the pages wanting them to have an HEA.

I think Leo and Viola were meant to be. When they met, they were shooting stars on top of the world and were going different directions. When they got their second chance they had both fallen and were trying to find a way to rise from tragedy. I think they learned that the best things don’t come easy and that there is a way to move on, even if its not in a way that you expect.
Jolie’s Scots meet rock stars – and the result is explosive. I love reading about musicians, and I enjoyed Leo’s story so much. He’s a sweetheart, and there were times I wanted to hug him and feed him cake (and times when I wanted to cuff him around the head, lol). Viola’s painful recovery process was beautifully done, and I really felt for her all the time. It was also wonderful to see characters from the first generation of MacRaes shine in their new roles as parents. Lovely!
I loved how the author created this story. It was imaginative and enjoyable. I liked the ambiance their relationship gave me as I read the book. The way the author wove the past and the present together was wonderful because it helped build drama and allowed me to further understand the story. Nicely done.

This amazing gem is book four in the Wild Scots series. This book could be read on its own but the series is great, I have read them all, and I highly recommend them. Now, this book is Viola and Leo story. These are two very different characters as Leo is a rock star and Viola is a snowboard athlete. Viola has been injured in a hit and run accident, she is now in a wheelchair and feels that her previous life is over. When Leo shows up at her family’s castle, the focus moves from her to how she can help him. Leo has lost his muse and his contract states he needs new music. Both of these characters are broken, is it possible for two broken pieces to make a whole? I knew when I picked up this book that I was in for a treat but after reading this book, wow. I absolutely loved the story, the characters and the many emotions that you are pulled through as you hope for a HEA. Enjoy!
Leo and Viola first met when they were just teenagers but they shared an instant connection. But they were passing ships, she busy with training for her snowboarding and he making a career in music. Several years later they met up again when Leo visited her home to be trained by her mother. His mother died in a car accident which left him lost. What he didn’t expect to found was Viola in a wheelchair after an accident which ended her career. The feelings they had flared up again which brought the music back to him. But with all their brokenness they had to deal with, could they find their way to each other or will they have to each find their own way? This was such an emotional story of two people with each their own issues to deal with but somehow stayed connected over years apart even though they had no contact. It is a story about hurt, loss but also of finding love and acceptance with people and learning that you do not have to be related by blood to be called family. It is the first time I’ve read a book from this author but definitely not the last.

When it snows it really falls…but hopefully they can catch each other before it hurts
Fallen Snow is the fourth book in the Wild Scots series and is the story of Leo Banks and Viola McRae. These two are basically lost souls who are not coping well. But in each other they may just get a chance to figure somethings out, come to terms with others and maybe, just maybe get an HEA.
Once again the author has done a phenomenal job with this book. It is well written, emotional, introspective and fascinating with a compelling story-line and well developed characters. This is another winner by Jolie Vines that was a true pleasure to read.
This is my favorite book in the series. I didn’t want it to end and hope there will be more in the series.
Great characters that will keep your interest extremely well.
I’m not going to go into detail, no spoilers, just read the book if you are even mildly intrigued by the blurb. You’ll thank me later!
The chemistry, sweetness, and twists in plot kept things interesting. Add in drama and passion and you have a good read.

Fallen Snow by Jolie Vines is book 4 in the Wild Scots Series. This is the story of Leo and Viola. I have read the previous books, which did add to my enjoyment of this one but I did feel this can be a standalone book if you wish to do so. This is a second chance at love for Viola and Leo who shared a kiss so long ago. Now in their present time both find themselves hurt but can they repair what is broken. Both are a their lowest point and start to see promise in the other of coming out of their dark place they are both end. So enjoyed this book and series. I plan on reading more from this author.
5 CRANKY STARS
In this fourth installment about the McRae grandkids, we meet Viola and Leo. You do not need to read the other books, but it makes this one more fun if you are aware of the background on the McRae family. The family is exceptionally large and close so there are always people around. The author is particularly good at describing the area they live in, so that you feel as if you are there. I also find myself wishing I were part of this family. Viola is a 17-year-old snowboarding champion. She competes all over the world. At the start of the story, she is in Italy competing when she meets Leo Banks, aka Banks. He is an up and coming rock star and is performing in concert at the meet. She has no idea who he is and is only vaguely aware of the songs he writes and sings. They meet in the lounge, over hot chocolate and spend a carefree evening together away from the hustle and bustle of their careers. Neither one of them has much free time. As they watch a movie together, that inevitable first kiss occurs. It is something neither can forget. Fast forward four years and Leo is coming to the estate to try to straighten out his career. He has a writer’s block and Viola’s mother is a world class violinist and music teacher. When he finally sees Viola, she is in a wheelchair. What has happened? He has suffered a tragic loss himself and there are all kinds of misunderstandings. Their reconnection is filled with misunderstandings and people trying to ruin Leo’s career. It is a roller coaster ride from there to the end of the book. Keep tissues at the ready, they will be needed. Great storyline, great characters and an overall, cannot put down story. A pleasure to read.
