I’m not like the other girls. Whether that’s a blessing or curse, I’ve … blessing or curse, I’ve yet to decide. The problem is, my disobedience intrigues my captor all the more.

Holy wow!!! This book has blown me away. The first book was amazing and had me on the edge of my seat but this second book was beyond amazing. It picks up were Bad Saint left off, Saint and Willow are on Alek’s yacht, they have no clue what is expected of them or waiting on them. It was full of twists and turns that you don’t see coming and the author keeps you intrigued in what will happen. We do get to see a side of Alek that no one else sees and it almost makes you sympathize with him even knowing the things he has done. There were so many moments that had me gasping like oh no she did not and other times I ended up with tears in my eyes or nervous to see what would happen. It does end on a cliff hanger because it’s book 2 of 3 but book 3 comes out soon and I absolutely have no doubt in my mind the author will blow us away with an epic ending to an amazing series.
Fallen Saint is the 2nd book in All the Pretty Things Trilogy.
For anyone that knows me I listen to most of my books via my Kindle and text to speech. I had to stop listening and just read. I didn’t want to miss a word! I am LOVING this series and now this book, Fallen Saint.
The ending of this book is explosive! It left me speechless, tearful and now hopeful. I CAN’T WAIT TO READ BOOK 3! Coming in September 2019. Fallen Saint has so many twists and turns. Every time I thought okay this is the direction that Monica James is taking with this book, it changes.
Thankfully the next book will be out soonish and I can’t wait! Another 5 star read from Monica James!
I am seriously at a loss for words right now. My mind is spinning, my heart is racing and dang near breathless after reading the last words to this book. If you thought the first one was a ride, this one is even more crazy. It’s grittier if possible but also heartfelt and confusing because I am feeling the same way Willow is. Between Saint and Alek and so much more!
Fallen Saint picks up right after Bad Saint, so you get no free pass to start up with this one. And seriously, who would want to?!? Hello?!? It’s Saint! He is like the man you fight to love. The connection between him and Willow deepens in this part of the trilogy. How he cares and protects her in his subtle ways from Alek and the world Willow is getting thrown into. But the fight in Willow gets stronger. Her love for Saint deeper. But these twists and turns that get thrown at you have your jaw dropping and head spinning.
To say I devoured this book is an understatement. Only time I took a break was to cook and that was pushing because I just wanted to keep reading. The ending leaves you with such a pow that you are literally dying to get your hands on the third book. James has created this amazing twisted world that you really can’t help but love. The character development to how the story flows, it is a flawless take that is just getting more tangled as it continues. But I need more!! I need answers! This series by far will be one of my top reads of 2019. So if you haven’t picked up the first book, do it!!! You have some time till the third comes out because you want to be ready for this wild ride!!
This book is thought-provoking, jaw-dropping, mindblowing deliciousness!
As soon as I started reading Fallen Saint, I was right back in Willow’s mind like I never left! I love her! She’s a woman that has been subjected to things I wouldn’t wish on anyone and yet she has chosen to fight for her survival instead of just giving up.
The key players in this story are EVERYTHING! The further into the story I got, the more I questioned everything and everyone.
Where Bad Saint was more mysterious, Fallen Saint is more emotional. The emotions felt by the characters in this story – hope, despair, love, desire, doubt, greed, jealousy, fear – are what makes this story so remarkable!
If you haven’t read Bad Saint, go read it first. Fallen Saint is book two of a trilogy and in order to keep up, you need to read them in order. Both are amazing!
It is a dark romance so if that’s not your thing, steer clear of this. If dark romances are your thing or don’t bother you, you NEED to read this ASAP!
Omg this just gets better and better. Saint & Willow are absolutely a couple you won’t forget. Saint will do anything to protect Willow but with lies and betrayal, it might not be that easy. The ending gutted me and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
Bad Saint #1and Fallen Saint #2
I had to restrain myself from reading this series before because I wanted it all.
I wanted to binge read all 3 books in one go.
And wow! It’s good that I’ve waited, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to wait for part 3 in this absolutely gripping and terrible emotional series. It would kill me to wait for the grand finale.
I just finished the second book and have to take a breath before I delve in the 3rd and last book. @elle_love_books said I’ll love it and she never disappoints . I loved every second so far. This series is packed with so much drama, action and heartbreak, that it’s a wonder I’m able to write right now. I love dramatic books, but this is drama with capital D.
From sunny and happy beginning to kidnapping, enslaving and killing without remorse, this books have all of this and much more.
It’s a dark and brutal story that shows the world from the worst side. What it shows too is, that even in such a world, there are people who have heart and soul. I’ll forever associate a beach with this series
I’m about to start the third book. It’ll definitely be a long sleepless night for me
The review will be continued after the last book
What a ride! So emotional and engrossing story, that I can’t get enough! You did it again, Monica James, and you did it sooo good! I didn’t think that I could love Saint more, but I was wrong! He’s totally amazing, and the things he’s done for Willow… OMG, he’s my weakness!!! As for Willow, I’m forever her fan. She’s so strong and brave, I admire her for it. And there’s also Alek… I’m so confused. I don’t know what to feel or think about him. I thought he’s pure evile, but Monica surprised me once again 🙂 I gasped so many times, I was holding my breath, I smiled, I cried, I crused… oh God, it was sooooo good 🙂 Gah, I’m still a mess, I want to know what next, september can’t be here soon enough! “I fear you, Monica James” for this story, it was epic, thank you
READ THIS F****G BOOK!!!!
You know sometimes a book leaves you so fucked up you don’t even know where to start with the review. Well that is exactly what is happening to me right now. I want to tell you so much about why you should read this book but I have not a single thought formed in my head. All I think is the end of this book and what will happen in the next one. I am lying here in bed and thinking what to write but I can’t think of anything except you must read this f***g book.
This is book 2 in All the pretty things trilogy and you the books need to be read in order so you start with Bad Saint then Fallen Saint and then Forever my Saint.
If you love dark romance then you need this in your life.
I can not wait for book 3 to hit my kindle so I can devour it in one go.
Amazing, dark, intense, hot and emotional 5 star read. Just read it.
Wow!! We continue Book 2 exactly were we left off, with Saint and Willow facing their future with Alek. Saint has made promises to Willow someone he cares deeply for and has vow to protect her with everything he has. They’re so many pawns in this mix and everyone must be kept at arms length in order to survive.
Willow knows her place in this situation, she must keep Alek believing she will eventually submit to him while Saint teaches her anything and everything to survive.
When the time comes will Willow have the strength to choose between having a life with Saint or falling for Alek who has been charismatic every step of the way. Who at the end will keep her safe and give her freedom?
This book is full of emotional roller coasters, keeping the positivity of seeing your freedom and accepting the consequences you are dealt with for that freedom. Having someone you love and not being able to fulfill that love…
This book is a cliffhanger and will leave you a wreck at the end and begging for book 3!
This book was freaking amazing! I didn’t think that this book would be better than the first! But it is! The puzzle pieces of this story are slowing fitting together. There are characters that I hated, especially after what she did to Willow. Then there were characters that I learned to like. One of them had redeeming qualities. I don’t want to name any names, so you’ll just have to read it!!
This book will shake you! Monica James has given us an intense, sexually charged, dark romance that has you on the edge of your seat from page one! I expressed my love for this series in my review of the first book, BAD SAINT, and book two did not disappoint. Monica James captures you from the beginning and has you holding on for dear life even after you finish the book. The book starts off right where book one leaves off, which is great because I wanted to know everything that was going on. Saint & Willow were found on the island by his boss who also won Willow in a poker game against her deceiving new husband. Forced to earn back his bosses trust he and Willow have to play their parts to not only stay alive but to make it out alive. So many things happen and so much is revealed that you are just biting at your finger tips in the anticipation of what’s to come. The ending is so heartfelt and heartbreaking, but then right before the book ends, hope is brought back in, and the fight is still on, and now it’s Willow’s turn to fight and save the one she loves. If you love dark romance with some mystery you HAVE to read this trilogy! The third book will come out later this year and I cannot wait to read it and see what the ending is. This trilogy was my first Monica James book to read and I’m a huge fan now.
Fallen Saint… My oh my oh my… It just completely blew me away. The second book of the series just hit the top leagues, and I cannot stop thinking about it.
The second book carries on from the first, and it just gets more explosive. It is tense, it is dark and it is incredible.
You get to see the true side of the characters, and let me tell you, it will surprise you. There is always two sides of a story, and nothing is ever black and white, and this book is the true definition of this. The characters you never expected to grow on you do and vice versa.
You see Willow’s strength tested a lot more in this book; Saint’s too. I loved Willow’s tenacity and ongoing strength. I absolutely adored her feisty side. My heart cried for poor Saint for what he was doing to protect Willow. My love for him grew more and more throughout this book. His green eyes and golden heart will own me for eternity.
This book is intense, even more so than the first book, but on an emotional level. We see Willow and Saint connect more on an emotional level in this book and see it put to the test, all in the name of freedom. There is also a lot of action that you don’t want to miss out on either.
As for Aleksei… He’s a character that will surprise you the most. He most certainly did me. Whether you love him or hate him is completely down to you.
The Ending: What the Freaking Freak, Ms James?!! You almost made an enemy out of me –> jk, but seriously, what. An. Ending. Left me literally on the edge of my seat. Where’s book three at?? I NEED IT NOW!!
Fallen Saint is a book that’s not for the faint of heart. It’s dark, it’s twisted, it’s angsty and emotional and just so damn incredible. The story will keep you hanging on, and that ending will want you reading book three desperately. I most definitely recommend it!!
Oh my Saint! My has Monica James done it again! I fell in love with Saint in Bad Saint, but Fallen Saint has taken it to an entirely different level. Monica James has left me speechless and silently begging her for Forever My Saint.
The second book in a series is probably more important than the first. The first can be amazing but if the second doesn’t hold up it’s end then it doesn’t matter. Let’s just say James doesn’t have that problem. Fallen Saint was even better than Bad Saint.
Saint and Willow are just everything! I cannot day how much I love them!
Fallen Saint starts right where Nad Saint left off, Popov has come to collect Willow. Saint knows he’s not a man you should mess with, but that will not stop him from doing everything he can to save Willow.
Willow and Saint are in the fight of their life. Saint is willing to do anything to make sure Willow gets her freedom, even if it means he ends up dead.
“Because your demons dance with my demons. They always have.”
One of my favorite quotes from the book and I think it perfectly sums up Saint and Willow. No matter the issue, no matter what is happening around them they only see each other. Their demons make the other better. The connection they have is like nothing you will ever read. They gravitate towards each other even when they don’t mean to. The fierce need to protect the other goes both ways with them. Willow would die for Saint, like he would die for her.
I think I could sit and read Fallen Saint over and over. No matter which way I thought the story would go it always went a different way. There are so many twist and turns and WTH moments. I never wanted to put the book down, but unfortunately I was on vacation with family and didn’t get that option. From the start to finish, and days after all I could think about was Fallen Saint.
You could not ask for a better second book than what James has wrote with Fallen Saint. It was everything I could have wanted and more.
And let’s not forget that cliffhanger!! Yes, she does leave you with another killer cliffhanger.
All the stars for James, Saint and Willow!! I absolutely cannot wait for what she gives us in Forever My Saint!
This series just gets better and better. I don’t know how the author managed to completely catch me off guard when after reading the first you think you know what to expect. These characters have completely stolen my heart and after that ending I don’t know how I’m going to wait til Sept!
Q: A love-struck Juliet smitten with her bloodstained Romeo.
I was only recently introduced to Monica James storytelling when I was able to read Bad Saint and Fallen Saint back to back. The first two books in the All The Pretty Things trilogy left me utterly wrecked. It took me forever to process… to write a review for this dark, intense, incredibly sexy, forbidden romance. I can’t tell you how quickly I was sucked into these books and just how entranced I became by Saint and Willow’s rollercoaster. The storyline is fast-paced and consuming. You won’t want to put your device down and if you can… well, then you are definitely made of stronger stuff than I!!!
Q: “…You eclipse my darkness and make me want to embrace the light.”
As with Bad Saint, Fallen Saint continues to be told strictly from Willow’s POV. Although each chapter begins with a succinct journal entry from Saint, enlightening readers to his ever-changing mindset, the narrative that is told is Willow’s journey into hell. The story has become increasing sexy to the point that I advise you to have those batteries charged or your spouses on standby!!! As tangible chemistry grows between Saint and Willow, I was sure that my kindle would ignite. And I quite honestly am sure that by the conclusion of this trilogy that will be the case. Monica penned captivating characters that offer true depth and growth and are utterly fascinating. I choose to say little more than that as I don’t want to inadvertently spoil the plot for new readers.
Q: “Well, how can you want me when I am so fucked up?”
“Because… your demons dance with mine. They always have.”
Monica James writing is incredible and the story she told had me glued to my seat for two solid days. As a matter of fact, I rarely get to read just for pleasure, but I truly had to get my hands on this story, so I carved out the extra time to begin the trilogy with Bad Saint and I was absolutely blown away. While both books end in spectacular cliffhangers—and I was lucky enough to immediately jump from Bad Saint into Fallen Saint—I can tell you I would have quite literally chucked my Kindle had the next book been unavailable. As it stands, it’s almost agony to wait for the release of the conclusion to this trilogy. I cannot get Willow and Saint out of my head and the unproducible nature of the story was truly brilliant! I have no idea how I have missed out on this author’s fantastic storytelling in the past, but I can assure you that I am now stalking her through social media for every tidbit I can soak up. The story she penned in the All The Pretty Things trilogy will not be for everyone. While I personally do not need trigger warnings there are some that might struggle with this romance and strictly for that reason, I advise caution and research. Otherwise, if you’re a fan of dark romance, dive into this absolutely incredible story immediately because it’s already one of my top reads for 2019!
Q: “I fear you too.”
I can’t get enough of this series. It’s so crazy good. A must read!!!
Heart stopping and exciting!! So many twists and turns!! so full of angst and chaos! another amazing story that has left me with so many unanswered questions!! Needing more ASAP!!!!
Fallen Saint is the highly anticipated second installment in the All The Pretty Things Trilogy by the amazingly talented Monica James. This dark, forbidden romance is a twisted tale about the healing power of love and how it can make the biggest sinner want to atone for his crimes and seek redemption. This fantastic story is full of jaw-dropping twists and turns I didn’t see coming and which left me shamelessly begging for more. I was immersed in this captivating story and completely spellbound by Monica’s gripping storytelling and intriguing characters. But please bear in mind that this book is definitely not for the faint of heart since it contains some mature and disturbing themes like abuse and sex slavery.
This book starts right off where Bad Saint ends. Willow is once again a prisoner but this time her kidnapper is Aleksei Popov – a Russian mobster and the man she was sold to in a game of poker. He wants to bring her home and make her his new, shiny and obedient plaything. But Willow won’t submit to him and call him master. She is different than the women Aleksei has charmed, seduced and so easily discarded in the past. Her disobedience and insubordination are actually intriguing him more than they are repulsing him. But Willow’s heart, body and soul belong to Saint Hennessy alone. He is her light and hope in all this darkness. This broken man who was once her tormentor is now her protector and the one who would do everything and risk it all to set her free. But achieving that will come at a high cost and require some big sacrifices that won’t come easily. But Willow is ready to lie, cheat, steal and even kill in order to leave this hell-hole behind…
I thought that I couldn’t possibly love Saint more than I already did but I was completely wrong. I worship the ground this incredible man walks on. Yes, he is an anti-hero with flaws and mistakes but there are so many layers to this character. He is neither black nor white and that’s what makes him so interesting. I could understand his inner conflict of not feeling worthy of happiness and a woman like Willow because of all the sins he has committed. But Willow was able to look beyond his facade and see more in him than just Alek’s deadliest and best killer – a man loyal to his core and caring and protective of the people he loves. Willow was even more badass than in the first book. Her strength and perseverance are truly astounding. This woman is a fighter who always stands up when life knocks her down. I was very proud of her for not surrendering to Aleksei. He was a very complex and controversial villain. I hated him for most parts of the book but some of his actions made me doubt my own feelings.
Fallen Saint ends on a heartstopping cliffhanger that nearly cost me my sanity. Monica James truly finished this installment with a huge bang! This great story had it all: suspense, intrigue, mind-games and betrayal. But until the very end you don’t know who is actually playing who and why. Now I can’t wait to see what this brilliant author has in tow for her characters and if they are going to get their HEA in the end. I highly recommend this book and give it 5 stars. Bravo Monica for delivering another epic masterpiece!
WOW… Just wow! I am overwhelmed with feels right now, you guys! Once again, this author far exceeds my expectation with this latest installment, Fallen Saint.
It certainly feels a whole lot different from book 1, but this one gripped me around the throat and never let me go until I reached the end. Saint and Willow’s chemistry jumps out from the pages and make you feel all the emotions they were going through and more. I catch myself stopping from time to time to gather my breath and just, feel and process.
To say I am impatient to get the next book is an understatement. I NEED it and it can’t come soon enough for me. I want more!
OMG this book is just EPIC!
I thought I after reading the first book that my emotions could not get any more intense than they got, but NOPE, Author Monica James banged out another highly emotional story that I could not put down.
Such rawness in the emotions of Saint & Willow journey.
Tons of Darkness and hopelessness meet both of these characters.
I loved how the story just picks up where it left off and takes you into even more of a twisted, sinful, unknown world that Saint & Willow are in.
Their love they try to deny is purely unholy. And it is unholy to the point where you can’t help but cheer these two on to let it be because love is love no matter how sinful it is.
Be ready for more action, intense unbelievable moments that leave you gasping for air. I lost count how many times I was biting my lip and holding my breathe while reading.
This book left me completely satisfied and yearning for how it will all end in the final book of Forever My Saint.
I have my list of suspects, who to trust, who is pure evil and if Saint & Willow will be ever able to get a happily ever after.
