I am OBSESSED with this series!
Book two just blew all my expectations out of the water and I am craving more!
If you haven’t read Bad Saint yet, what are you waiting for? You will be hooked!
From start to finish my mind was racing with what would happen next, it was a perfect mix of dark, sexy and gritty. The manipulation, mind games, secrecy, twist and turns – ugh, pure perfection!!!
You know you have read a fantastic book when you finish and you can’t decide whether you should slow clap or scream at the author for messing with your mind so much. Lol. That ending has me counting down the days for book 3.
Such a captivating story that definitely shouldn’t be missed.
*Received and ARC for my honest opinion*
Fallen Saint, book 2 of All the Pretty Things Trilogy by Monica James.
Book 1 ended on an epic cliffhanger and book 2 picks up where book 1 left off. This trilogy is so addictive! There is so much that happens, right from the start until the very end.
Saint and Willow are characters that have you rooting for them. Willow especially, due to all that she has gone thru. Saint is one that had me disliking but then something about him and his actions had me thinking differently. He’s a hard man to dislike. The chemistry between them is intense. Now in this book there is a love triangle going on ….Saint, Willow and Aleksei. Holy hotness!!! Alekesi is still someone that I’m unsure about but the steam factor is all there.
This book is all about raw, sexy, suspense, angst, love triangle, drama, passion, dark, captivating, intense, forbidden, and consuming. This story stays with you long after the cliffhanger ending. It’s beautiful and yet dark, darker than book 1. Be prepared for a rollercoaster ride of emotions that will have you wondering what just happened and then wanting to read it again. I throughly enjoyed reading Fallen Saint and can’t wait for book 3.
My Rating: 4.8 stars *******
I absolutely loved it! More than Bad Saint. It’s intense, suspenseful and addicting story. Monica has written beautiful, emotional love story with an amazing characters. Get ready for fall in love with every word.
Saint will steal your heart
FOREVER MY SAINT .
I am still reeling days after finishing Fallen Saint. I definitely loved it even more than the first book. I felt like it had a different vibe than the previous one—where Bad Saint was suspenseful, Fallen Saint was gripping, darkly sexy, and so damn intriguing. My heart didn’t catch a break while reading this book—each chapter either made me swoon over Saint or made me want to punch someone—it was deliciously frustrating.
There was also a shift in the game, and I’m not only talking about the setting but about a particular character, one I didn’t think would intrigue me the way he did, and one I think is Monica’s secret weapon. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next.
With Fallen Saint, Monica James delivers another beautifully brutal tale, an exhilarating and riveting emotional read that will for sure leave you begging, craving, crying, and dying for MORE!
WHAT THE HECK DID I JUST READ!?!? I’M ABSOLUTELY WRECKED! Monica picks up the story of Saint and Willow after being captured by Popov. The main topic of this storyline is the two staying alive in addition to getting out of Popov’s hands. This proves to be extremely difficult due to non other than Saint’s sister as well as other factors. After a series of events, Popov makes decisions that changes the course of the plan Saint and Willow have formed, but thankfully Saint always has a backup plan. As you continue reading these characters get deeper and more complex and I can’t get enough. I couldn’t put this book down and had to continue powering through to finish it while I sat literally on the edge of my seat. This series is one of those epic ones that you can’t get enough and make you physically get involved, such as throwing the e-reader after the cliffhanger (which I may have done). The one spoiler I will give is that I absolutely did not ever see the ending of this book coming. Monica got us good with a bomb cliffhanger, that’s for sure. From her writing to her unique storylines, if the first book didn’t make me a fan (which it did), the second made me a die-hard fan. Bravo, and let’s hope summer flies by in order to get to September!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Fallen Saint picks up right where the doozy cliffhanger of Bad Saint dropped us off…
This is an action packed, Stockholm Syndrome (kinda) romance.
Willow is torn between her what he head knows to be true and what her hearts wants to believe.
Saint is trying save his sister and the woman he is falling in love with.
Add in Aleksei…it’s getting very complicated.
This is not a stand-alone. You must read Bad Saint first. In addition, this ends on another cliffy.

Would I read more from the author? Yes
Would I recommend this book? Yes
If I thought I had loved Bad Saint and this couple before, I had no idea what Fallen Saint had in store for me. Nor how much of a mess of emotions it would have me or how much more I would fall for these characters, even the ones I wasn’t expecting to!
Even though I freaking loved the island setting and watching these two fall in love in the middle of a f*cked up situation and I’m sad to see that go, I freaking loved this book. The more forbidden their relationship became, the more I loved and craved it. Their chemistry was more powerful than ever, their love stronger even behind all the pretending and masks it hid under. Now living in a completely different setting, Willow had to adjust to a new captor, a new prison and a whole new world. I’m astonished at her bravery, courage and strength. Even when she showed weakness, she was strong. I freaking loved her. I loved watching her struggle just to see that her strength was full proof and unbreakable. Even blow after blow, revelation after revelation and bomb after bomb, she stood tall. She was a real queen, even if she was standing next to the wrong man.
Circunstances get worse and worse but still Saint and Willow find a way to be together and come up with a plan to get free. Did that plan work the way it was supposed to? F*ck no, wasn’t expecting anything different. Monica delivered blow after blow, surprise after surprise that had me reeling and shook the ground beneath my feet. This woman knows how to write. Her plotting skills need to applauded. I have no doubt she’ll blow my mind even more on the third and last installment of All The Pretty Things trilogy.
Monica had me feeling things I didn’t know were possible. I didn’t think I would like Alek, I thought he’d be a character I’d love to hate but I didn’t hate him. I hated some of this action but not the man, He had me so darn intrigued, in fact, I still am. He was different with Willow and he had a tender, good side he hid from the world. Still, I would never be on another team other than SAINT’S.
Just as Willow got to see Alek’s light side, she got to see Saint’s dark one. And still, she loved him all the more so. He continued to save her time and time again, each time sacrificing a little more of himself and his old life, a life he’d enever get back and didn’t even want anymore because he knew it’d never be as before. There was no going back. Not after all he’d been through, not after all he’d done. He would do anything to save Willow, to free from the prison he had put her in, no matter what it took. I really liked the fact that he saw the snake his sister had became and just how far she’d go to stay Alek’s little slave. Watching him chose Willow over her was one of the highlights of this book for me.
For a real mindf**k we have the last few chapters, I swear the last fifteen minutes have the book had me a complete wreck. YOU AIN’T READY. I sure wasn’t ready, not for that blow. I swear my mind was overthinking, trying to rationalise and figure out a way to go around what had just happened because I refused to believe or accept what was happening. I was shocked, sad and so darn mad all in one fell swoop. Monica really f*cked with my emotions and my head but I honestly never been happier with a cliffhanger in my life. Now, I’m just here waiting for Forever My Saint to hit my kindle. I’d appreciate time to hurry up, thanks.
“Well now, you are a…fallen saint. But unlike a fallen angel, you were never given a choice to sin.”
This book picked up right where ‘Bad Saint’ left off. Willow and Saint are now with Aleksei. Willow is trying to figure out how to get out of this mess, just as Saint is trying to figure out how not only to get Willow out, but also his sister. When they arrive in Russia, Aleksei makes it even more clear about his intentions for Willow, and nothing will stand in his way. While Saint tries to pull double duty, getting back into Aleksei’s good graces as well as keeping an eye on Willow and figuring out how to keep her safe. When everything comes to a head, can anybody make it out alive?
Holy. Smokes. As I stated earlier, this book jumped right back into the story of Saint and Willow, and we also get to learn more about who Aleksei is and what he does. From the very first chapter I couldn’t get enough! I don’t think I actually did any work the last few hours of the day because I had to keep going and find out what was going to happen next in this story. I knew it was going to be a cliffhanger, Monica makes that very clear, but I was not ready for this book to end the way it did. Monica takes you on a seriously emotional journey with this book, it was a rollercoaster for me, and I didn’t want to get off! Hands down, I don’t think there could have been a better follow up to ‘Bad Saint’. Monica pulls every single emotion out of you, she writes so vividly it’s like you can see everything that is happening first hand. I am so ready for book 3! Well done Monica, you slayed this book!
I’m so in love with Saint and maybe a little bit with the enemy as well.
Fallen Saint is full of action, love, sexual tension and a lot of male alpha.
My heart still racing since I finished this book, and I can’t wait for Forever My Saint.
Fallen Saint is a kind of book that leaves you breathless the whole time, every chapter is so unexpected, you cry and laugh, and the rollercoaster of emotions is so intense that I recommend some serious TLC in the end and of course there is a hell of a cliffhanger.
Monica James has done such a fantastic job writing these special characters, that makes your skin prickles just reading their names and makes you swoon like a teenager in your first love.
Our heroine Willow is one of a kind, she can look weak, but nothing on her is fragile, and I can’t wait for her HEA.
Monica, you’re a fantastic author, congratulations on another tremendous five stars book!
All the Stars.
Much love.
Monica James has slayed me yet again with Fallen Saint the second book in the All The Pretty Things Trilogy. I loved Bad Saint, you do need to read that before diving into Fallen Saint so you can see for yourself the beginning of the epic capture and captive romance between Saint and Willow. Book 2 kicks off right where Bad Saint ended, with Willow and Saint on a ship under Alexsei’s hold travelling to Russia so Willow can become the pet she was sold to be.
Fallen Saint gives us so much more of Saint and Willow, Saint ever the Martyr is determined to find a way to free Willow and keep their affection from each other hidden from Alexsei and his men. In turn Saint and Willow find stolen moments to touch and discreet ways to communicate, subtleties Monica built into the story that endeared me more to this couple. Of course things don’t go smoothly for our Hero and Heroine throughout Book 2 and both are forced to face realities they never wished to conquer. Situations that will have you swooning, cursing, jaw on the floor in a pool of your own tears kind of responses, I kid you not.
Fallen Saint also gives us more of an insight into Zoey (Saints sister) this woman……. what can I say, she is completely deluded, with a few screws loose in that head of hers and she surprised me in so many ways! My feelings about her character where pretty strong throughout; however Monica with her clever writing has left me pondering about what is to come with Zoey in Book 3 because the girl who sat firmly in the Cuckoo’s nest is about to fly free!
Alexsei on the other hand, is quickly becoming one of my favourite Villains his story throughout Fallen Saint completely captivated me. How he started out as a cold, calculated Villain and as the story progressed he grew to be so much more. Monica gave his character humanity, some semblance of a heart when it comes to Willow that leaves you questioning every previous thought you had about him. I love when an Author makes me challenge my character perceptions and totally twists them on their head. I am left craving more of Alexsei, reading how his relationship with Willow and Saint changed through the novel was so engaging, holding a depth of character I never expected to explore.
As you can probably tell Fallen Saint is a must read in my opinion, this series so far has blown me away, Monica’s writing is brilliantly captivating, with the perfect pacing and plenty to keep you on the edge of your seat. One of my favourite quotes of the book sums up this love story perfectly between the pure of heart Willow and her damaged Hero Saint:
A love-struck Juliet smitten with her bloodstained Romeo
“A love-struck Juliet smitten with her bloodstained Romeo.”
Survival, cunning, and battles of wits ensue in the continuation from Book 1. I poured over the impossible choices that each character is forced to make, only to be heart broken as they are ripped apart throughout. Their attraction is undeniable, the danger felt insurmountable, and the twists and turns left me breathless, speechless, and dying for Book 3!! The depravity of the situation really unleashed the base instincts in the two main characters and I was hypnotized by their each and every move. I was left winded, dazed, and overwhelmed!! Absolutely love this story!!
“Someone who steals my breath every time he enters the room. Someone who has sacrificed everything to ensure my safety. Someone who has invaded every inch of my soul.”

I enjoyed this twisty turning volume two of the all the pretty things trilogy. The ending has me gasping and wanting book three right this second
Saint and his Angel are rescued from their island by the very person they are running from, the Russian mobster, Aleksei Popov, and are headed for what they both know will be hard times in Russia.
I’m not going to give any details beyond the fact that this book was terrific in continuing the story started in Bad Saint. Both Saint and Willow are falling harder for each other which is so very dangerous for them, yet they can’t stop or hide the feelings that are so strong between them.
There are plenty of new characters in Fallen Saint as Aleksei’s friends and enemies are revealed. When it is discovered that Willow does indeed have something she can offer Alek and others, a special night is planned for her, an event that makes her loathe her captor even more, although her feelings about Alek are conflicted on some level. But she’s got a plan and so does Saint — the question is whether they can pull it off and stay alive in the process.
There are some really great twists and turns in this second book in the series and I absolutely loved that about it! So many things I didn’t expect — and that always makes for a great read. The ending is a bit of a cliffhanger that sets things up for the conclusion and I just can’t wait to find out how this all works out!
Oh, this series! I love a well crafted dark romance and this series has it all! These two books have been a great introduction to a new author for me, and it’s made me a fan for life.
Oh Jear Sweet Baby Desus!!
I’m going to try to simultaneously give you a review that does this fantastic book justice while not giving anything away.
This series is easily gearing up to become one of my favorites of 2019!!
I have fallen so freakin hard for Saint Hennessy and his
“ ангел” Willow.
This book has embedded itself into so far into my heart and soul, y’all! I am somewhat book ruined for awhile, at least in the dark genre. Monica James has managed to leave me with the mother of all book hangovers. Like ,I’m dead!!
This is one of those books that has you literally on the edge of your seat. This book had my heart pounding ,but I still didn’t want it to ever end. It was angsty, and hot. Plus, Saint is kinda Swoony AF in his own way! Holy.Hot.Damn!! Saint and Willow, y’all!! The hotness factor..off. the.charts! I’m getting all flushed thinking about it. That’s how amazing Ms. James did when she wrote the chemistry between these two characters. Now the story, It was full of jaw-dropping moments and moments where I’m pretty sure I stopped breathing. This author has the ability to tell the story so well you forget for a moment your even reading, your heart rate increases, you feel the characters emotions. You feel so ingrained in the story, that you almost feel like a part of it. That’s how amazingly gifted she is. Her attention down to the smallest details. She left out nothing. This book does end on another cliffhanger, which I knew going in( so warning for you) , I am going to be counting the days until we get the next book. I am excited to see just how far Monica James will take us on this journey with Willow and Saint. I feel like we are just scratching the surface.
I’m excited to see how much more angst, suspense, jaw-dropping, and sensual moments lie ahead for us in the next book. Pick up Bad Saint to be ready for Fallen Saint when it releases. Then you can join me in anxiously awaiting the next book in All the Pretty Things Series. I would give this book Ten stars Happy Reading, My Friends!
*Must Read Bad Saint first
*Ends on Cliffhanger
*Mature Themes-Trigger Warnings
*I voluntarily reviewed an advanced complimentary copy of this book.
So there’s Saint whom I love so much and is so damn sexy and intense and there’s Willow with her undeniable strength that helps her survive the nightmare she is living in and then there’s Alek. Ok so I totally intended to loathe this man, like screw him and his I own you shit. But something happened along the way and I’m not even sure at what point it was but girl you got me to love him too. Damn that man is powerful and sexy and dare I say sweet when it comes to Willow. This book was crazy intense and so good. The last few chapters were completely insane and I was like what the hell did I just read, and then that cliffhanger?!? Love a twisted tale? Pick up the first two books in this series now!! I can’t wait until September for the next one!
