Fallen Reign, the highly anticipated fourth and final chapter of the Se7en Sinners Series by New York Times bestselling author, S.L. Jennings. Yesterday, I had the audacity to imagine a future. One that didn’t include hunting demons hellbent on destroying humanity or being used as a pawn for my father’s revenge. One comprised of a home and a family and all the things I’d longed for as a broken … things I’d longed for as a broken child.
Then in the blink of a silver speckled eye, my foolish hope was extinguished, and my world came crumbling down.
We stood strong. We fought. We lost.
I lost.
Legion, the demon I dared to love, was gone.
Now I’m going to tear myself in two and do the unthinkable to find him. I’m going to put my trust in his brother–his enemy–and make a deal with the Devil. And while his darkness and depravity echo mine, I know this won’t end well for either of us.
My body may survive, maybe even my soul. I can’t promise the same for my heart. This time, I will not fail. I will not hesitate. And if it comes down to it, I’ll be the weapon I was created to be. I will follow the code of the Se7en and do what I should have done when we had the chance.
Kill one to save a million.
Kill him to save the world.

I can’t believe it’s over! I didn’t want it to ever end!!
The characters were, as always, entertaining, the world & its magic sucked me in, the secrets had me going “whaaat?!” & all the Dorian/Gabriella/Nikolai talk has me itchin’ to finally read this author’s Dark Light series.
*****SPOILERS*****
The only thing that really yanked my chain (& it was kinda big)… I wish a chunk of this book would’ve happened earlier on in the series. When a series has a love triangle in it, both guys should have their time to shine before the last book. It just didn’t feel right to lean so heavily on one guy (especially the one who didn’t get chosen) in the final book of a series. The guy she ended up with was hardly in this one & I found that to be disappointing.
In fact… & don’t throw tomatoes at me… I’m not 100% convinced that Eden ended up with the right guy. *shrugs* The chemistry she had with Lucifer was explosive. And her saying that he might be “the captor of her soul”… Gah! I’m just left wondering, “What if..?”
That epilogue… Will we ever get to see Lucifer give humanity a “new religion”?! That last passage felt like such a tease!! Here’s hoping he gets a happily ever after somewhere down the line because I bet a book fully dedicated to him would be dynamite. 🙂
Side Note: Adriel got off too easy. Wish they would’ve clipped her wings or something.
This book!!!! Holy Shitballs!!! What a conclusion.
Syreeta just about destroyed me with this final book in the Se7en Sinner Series. I went in knowing it was going to be an amazing read – and she didn’t disappoint.
I was conflicted for a lot of this one, seeing sides of characters that I had tried to deny in previous books. Changing my loyalties. Some people get their HEA, others do not. I ugly cried in this one. Like, snotty faced, ugly cried. So many feelings and no matter which way you turn someone has to get hurt.
It’s not an easy read. It’s the kind of book that has you powering through the pages, heart pounding and unsure of who you love the most. Gah!!! I am sad this series is over but LOVE that this final book was the raw, brutal read that it had to be. Cannot recommend it enough!
Too much emotion. Plus she ended up with the wrong guy in my opinion.
Throughout the book I wanted to punch Eden. She had a man perfect for her in front of her but no she had to be a dumbass.
There was a lot more death than I thought would happen but it still ended good.
To be truthfully honest I don’t know how I feel about this installment.
THIS BOOK NEEDS 10 BELLADONNA STARS!!!!!
I needed a few days to get all my emotions back in check. This book completely broke me and fixed me and then broke me again. I absolutely LOOOOOOOVED it. Mrs. Jennings has such a way with words.
This is the final book in the Se7ven Sinner series and it started off with a bang.
We’re off with Eden and Luc on the hunt to find The Legion of Lost Souls. She battles with whether or not she’ll be able to pull off what’s needed from her to save the world.
We get to see our favorite heroine go through some really tough times, get a bunch of new informations that’s leaves your jaw on the floor pertaining our Eden with a few other lead characters. I would’ve NEVER expected the book to reveal the bombs it did.
But, she’s got some yummy companionship with her in this book.
Luc, Luc, Luc. What can I say about that man? I need a Luc in my life. Seriously!! He made me swoon so freaking hard. Never knew I could fall for the devil, but here I am… Lucifer is sexiness personified. **still swooning**
We get some surprise appearances from characters from another series that Mrs. Jennings wrote and let me tell you, I was screaming at my tablet, so mad, when these characters came back into play.
This book made me cry, laugh, fall in love, break my heart…. it just made me feel every single emotion in that pesky emotional wheel. Not many authors can do what Mrs. Jennings did. Suck you in to a story and leaves you begging and begging for more till you get to the end. And even when it ended, you’re still begging and begging for more.
I am so sad that this series has come t an end. But, I am hopeful that sometime in the future we get to see a spin off of those crazy characters we love so much.
Thank you, Mrs. Jennings. You are a true genius and will forever remain one of my few one click authors.
Oh, this book, this book, this book I absolutely adored each and every word, even as it chewed me up inside emotionally and spat me back out, even as I sat there getting strange looks from my partner as tears streamed down my face.
“Fallen Reign” gutted me, but in such a good way.
Not sure that even makes sense but you will understand what I’m getting at when you experience this fabulous piece of fiction for yourself.
This is hands down my favourite book of the series and it thoroughly deserves its full five stars.
I so want to ramble on about everything that clicked for me here but I cant as this would definitely spoil it for you.
Just let me say that “Fallen Reign” is going to turn everything you think you want from this story and totally turn it on his head.
So let go of your preconceptions and just go with the flow.
This is definitely a one-sitter read so clear your calendar as I guarantee you will not be able to put this down once you start.
This is a fantastic and worthy finale to what has been a great series.
Hopefully, we may get a cameo from these characters in future S.L. Jennings writings.
Or even better a certain someone may get his own HEA. that would be so epic.
Sad to say goodbye to Eden, Legion, Lucifer, the seven and all else who made this series so addictive.
I have a serious book hangover now.
I highly recommend “The seven Sinners” series give it a go if you like your PNR.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of ( Fallen Reign (Se7en Sinners, #4) of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
I don’t even know what to say really. I have loved this series since the beginning and each book has gotten better then the last. I started to re read all of the books last week in anticipation for this one. I was even more consumed with this story as I was the first time I read those books. When I started this one yesterday I couldn’t get enough of it.
I am not one who cries easily while reading, ever. I don’t seek out the books that are considered “tear jerkers”. Why am I saying this? Well, this one made me ball my eyes out, seriously. I’m not even going to go into why or what part of the book but you will KNOW when you get to that point. I have tissues and a hug waiting for you when you get there too.
Even thought this didn’t go the way I wanted it to (story line wise) I know it went the way it should of have gone. My man did the right thing in the end even though it gutted me, like it tore me up. I loved him from the start, I rooted for him, my heart broke through out this whole book for him. It is as it should be and I get it.
I am super picky about my PNR books and this one will always be one I recommend to anyone who is looking for one to get lost in. I love it so much.
The final book in the series and it doesn’t disappoint. Action packed, steamy. Characters from past series making appearances, what’s not to love?
4.5 stars- Wow, what an ending Fallen Reign was! I was expecting some big things in the fourth and final book in the Se7en Sinners series, but the emotion, twists, and action was even more than I imagined. Picking up after the major cliffhanger Wicked Ruin ended with, Fallen Reign details Eden, the Se7en, Lucifer, and others in a show down against the Legion of Lost Souls. This is definitely a series that must be read in order, as there are many recurring characters, long story arcs weaving between books, and a paranormal fantasy world built over the course of the four books.
Miss Jennings has a gift for crafting detailed worlds based in lore, imagination, and reality that are easy to envision and get lost in. This fast-paced book read smoothly and quickly, and with so much going on, I found it very difficult to put the book down. The action scenes left my pulse pounding, and the dramatic scenes stole my breath and even had me teary-eyed at times. Then there’s the romance. Fallen Reign further developed the love triangle between Eden, Lucifer, and Legion. While I don’t shy away from that trope, I was never on the fence about who I wanted Eden to end up with…until this book. The author built and progressed the characters and their relationships so well that my heart clenched and ached as the romance played out. And the ending was absolutely perfect, even if it left me a bit sad at moments, it was memorable and wholly satisfying.
If you’re a fan of paranormal or fantasy romances with interesting worlds, flawed characters, and complex storylines, I’d highly recommend the Se7en Sinners series.
SL Jennings takes the paranormal romance cake!
This is the fourth and final book in the Se7en Sinners series and I have loved every second of reading each of these amazingly addictive stories!
This book has absolutely rendered me speechless. I mean I have loved every book in this series, and I sit and think that the next one couldn’t be any better then your left with damn that was AWSOME! In fact this whole series is a sinfully wicked masterpiece from start to finish. It isn’t often an author delivers a book that can break you apart and mend you back together all at once, but SL Jennings has done just that. I will be keeping this series on my Re-read for life!
WOW!! Just WOW. What a thrilling and fitting end to the Se7en Sinners Series. I was literally incapacitated for an entire day because I couldn’t put my Kindle down to stop reading Fallen Reign. Reading this book was an addiction which could not be satisfied until I read the final word. When I finished. I was replete.
S.L. Jennings gave all in this book. She left no stone unturned. She went places I’m sure should not have been visited. Being the bold and brave spirit she is, She. Went. There. It was a terrifyingly gorgeous journey which truly satisfied my soul and etched itself into my deepest memory.
Fallen Reign left me in awe of the enormous talent that flows from S.L. Jennings pen. Her imagination and attention to detail are simply amazing. She literally took Heaven and Hell with all the beings encompassed by those realms and made them feel like places you could live. Places frequented by neighbors, friends, frenemies, and loved-ones from an ordinary world. These immortal, supernatural beings felt so real and relatable. This outstanding storyteller made me love something about even the most loathsome of her creatures. If I ever forgot that the Devil was once and Angel, S.L. Jennings has left the reminder in Fallen Reign.
I was immersed in the lives of these magnificent characters – their angst, their battles, their celebrations, their tear-filled tradegies. I would have quite happily remained in the land of the Se7en had S.L. Jennings seen fit to hold me there. However, being the benevolent soul she is, S L. Jennings brought me to a glorious, unforgettable, conclusion. Fallen Reign will go on my list of favorite books, not just of 2018, but of all time. The Se7en Sinners Series will move into my rotation of books I reread when I need to be inspired. No matter how bad things get in S.L. Jennings pre-apocolyptic world, she never lets me lose site of the eternal existence of hope and the fact that true love will always reign.
