From the New York Times bestselling author who “knows how to draw you in and keep you hooked” (Angela Graham, New York Times bestselling author) comes a compelling tale of family loyalty and budding romance starring the badass Clover Black as she is forced to choose between following her heart or keeping her family safe. Growing up as the Princess of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club, Clover … the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club, Clover Black knows she’s had a thoroughly unique upbringing. As the daughter of the former President of the club, she’s expected to live a certain kind of life but she does the unthinkable…she goes to the police academy and becomes a cop. Without her family knowing.
After being assigned a new partner, the handsome Felix Banks, a friendship blossoms, but as Felix teaches her how to be a better cop, she finds herself falling for him, all while, struggling to keep her two lives separate. Tensions rise when the truth comes out and it becomes clear that Clover is being used for her motorcycle club ties.
As things heat up within the MC and at Clover’s job, she faces a difficult choice–her love for Felix and the law, or her family and the Wind Dragons. A steamy and unputdownable romance, Fallen Princess is perfect “for fans of Kristin Ashley, Julie Ann Walker, and Joanna Wylde, and those who are heartbroken that television’s Sons of Anarchy has ended” (Booklist).

Having read this author before in a different manner of writing thought when I seen this and am fond of reading MC would try it. Great name also for the club which it kinda got me to take a second look at this one. The princess of this club decides to do something on the sly which will have a trickle effect. She gets a partner Felix that will also soon have a triple effect thanks to other factors also. The story will have some bumps and grinds with also drama fueled in there. She will have some tough decisions that will also have us on edge. Good action packed with the romance we want from a MC.
It isn’t easy being the club princess and Clover goes almost overboard asserting her independence from her family and the club. At times she came across childish, but I still love her anyways. She makes a lot of reckless decisions that end up with her in sticky situations. I really, really loved Felix!! He knows how to handle Clover and all the baggage she comes with. What will Felix do when he finds out Clover’s family is part of an MC? What will Clover’s family do when they find out she is a cop and dating her partner?
Clover is one tough little princess. Although I’m not so sure it’s fair to call her a Princess. She is not afraid of hard work and she wants to do something good in this world. She wants to make a difference and help people. She’s got attitude and a whole lot of skills before she even got trained at the Academy.
I just kept waiting for the two worlds that she is walking in to collide. Ohh, that is gonna be messy.
There were times that Felix almost seemed to good to be real. But that’s not counting the first time they met. That time didn’t get so well when Felix and Clover get reassigned as partners. He was outright rude to her without even knowing her. It doesn’t take to long for things to begin to change. It also helped that Clover was quick to address Felix’s attitude right off the bat. She took the battle straight to him. I enjoyed some of their conversations and Felix seemed to be a pretty steady guy who was able to calm some of Clovers high energy and temper.
Clover’s best friends before becoming a cop are Cara and Rhett . They grew up together in the Motorcycle Club. They have been tight since forever.
There is plenty of action and emotions in this story. And I also was surprised by the interactions of the Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club. It wasn’t what I was expecting. They were kind of a different group.
There are some surprising twists towards the end of the story that I really enjoyed. I didn’t see that one coming. But it does cause a lot of secrets to come spilling out.
The story kept me interested all the way through and I was happy with the way the story ended.

4.5 Stars for the beginning of the next generation of Wind Dragons.
Clover black is all grown up and takes a very different path in life, but her loyalty to her family and the WDMC never waivers. Now that she’s older, she shows her true strength and proves to everyone that she truly is the daughter of Dex and Faye Black. She’s a biker princess with ambition and independence and is just as badass as her mother.
Felix doesn’t quite know what he’s in for, but he quickly proves that he can handle being with Clover Black and that she’s worth any and all hurdles they may face. He’s tough enough to handle his own amidst her family’s presence and shows them all just how strong and deep his love and loyalty to Clover runs in his blood.
In my binge read of the WDMC series, I got to see Clover’s life flag before my eyes. Within five days, I saw her born and face off her own dangers with determination, dignity and strength. It was an incredible experience to see all the stages of her life and then watch her find her soulmate. A love just as strong as the love her parents and all the Wind Dragon men found.
Fallen Princess is a pretty straightforward story: MC princess secretly becomes cop. This book does connect to both the Cursed Ravens MC series and her legal series (but that is just a name drop), but you don’t have to have read either to understand. Honestly, you don’t have to have read the previous books in this series to enjoy Clover’s story. Clover is the daughter of the former Wind Dragons president and has always been a stubborn, strong willed child. She wanted to be a cop but feared her parents wouldn’t approve so she moved to another city and joined the police force there.I liked Clover as a heroine because she tough, smart, and yet still impulsive and reckless. She comes off as a believable young woman-she is trying to figure out who she wants to be and how to get there and she makes some mistakes along the way. I loved Felix for her. At first, he is kind of douchey, but he really respects her. He was great for her in her professional and personal life. They had a few communication issues which I find annoying, but honestly, it worked in the story and these issues weren’t the main plot point. My biggest struggle with Fallen Princess is the struggle I have had with the last few Fernando books I’ve read: they seem lacking in depth. There is a lot going on in the plot and all of it seems glossed and not fully explored. I felt like any one of the plot points could have been the focus of the story instead of all of them being thrown in. You have the story of a MC girl sneaking away to be a cop, you have the subplot of the drug dealer she is trying to take down, then you have the dirty cops who want to use her, then you have the mystery of Felix’s dad’s death….its just a lot and any one of them would have made a great story. All of them together made Fallen Princess feel unfocused and, at times, rushed. It should be noted that despite that, I still devoured the story. I found myself thinking about it frequently when I was interrupted by mundane things like my job or my need for food.
I’ve read (and loved!) all of the WDMC books, and Dragon’s Lair was always my favorite. There was just something about Faye and Sin that made me happy. When I read the blurb for Fallen Princess, and found it was about Clover, their daughter, all I could thing about was “Gimme! I’ve gotta read this one RIGHT NOW!”
Clover is a good girl. She has a good upbringing, and loves her family in the WDMC. But she has a burning need to be a police officer, that she knows her family would not approve of. Because in the MC world, the police are the enemy! Achieving her goals, and then keeping her life secret from the family she is so close to, isn’t easy for Clover, but she doesn’t see any way around it.
Felix is a cop. His father was a cop. His only goal in life is to be the best cop he can be. When he meets Clover, he isn’t sure about her to begin with. But he teachers her how to be a better cop, and they become close. There is a connection there, and boy, does it get steamy!
These two are absolutely perfect for each other! I couldn’t help but cheer for them throughout the book. Even when things were stacked against them, or when it seemed like they wouldn’t be able to find their way, I was still cheering for them. This story was fun, from beginning to end. I enjoyed seeing old friends from previous books, (and even a few surprise visitors!) and I loved seeing the kids, all grown up! This book was a pleasure to read, and I can’t wait to see where the WDMC series goes next!
For so long Clover Black has only known life as the daughter of a biker, but now she is stepping outside of that world to create a life of her own… and she has decided that those rules she learned a long time ago no longer apply to her. Growing up she learned that associating with cops was a no-no, but that didn’t stop her from dreaming about being one, unbeknownst to her parents of course.
So she went to college, went to the academy, and now has a shiny badge and gun to prove it… but she still hasn’t found the courage to tell her family what she does for a living. She told them a little white lie about her career, and with them being far enough away she has been able to maintain appearances, and keep the white lie going… but all that is about to change!
Fallen Princess is a suspenseful and uber sexy tale that will have you captivated from start to finish! The moment these wonderful characters wandered onto the page I found myself enamored with them and their intriguing story, it had many highs and lows that reeked havoc on my emotions and stirred up a case of the feels. It was so fun to be reunited with all my favorite Wind Dragon characters and meet their children, I really hope there are more stories to come for this second generation! I loved this one, it had steamy times to curl the toes, suspenseful action to keep me on the edge of my seat, and loads of emotion to tug on the heartstrings!! Well done Ms. Fernando, you have once again left me dazzled with your well crafted words, and perfectly designed characters!! Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
Is It Possible That a MC Princess Becomes a Legit Cop?!
The Wind Dragons MC Princess has fallen to the “dark side”?! That’s what many from her family would think when she finally lets them in on the secrets she’s been hiding. Dex and Faye’s little girl has grown up to be the bad*ss reflection of both of her parents and has become a cop which makes her extremely lethal seeing she knows how the “bad guys” live as well. All she wanted to do was help people which also makes her into an exceptional choice. It surely doesn’t hurt any that her new senior partner is also at the top of his game and he is one fine specimen of a man as well.
I have loved this series and was excited when Clover was going to be given her book and what made me love this book even more was how all the “old” bikers were brought in to this story. I still love them all and now with the next generation growing up I look forward to more to come from the Wind Dragons MC.
As the daughter of the former president of the WDMC Clover knew that her career choice was going to be an issue. But she thought that in time her parents would accept it, as her mother is a lawyer and works for the FBI. But there is a reason parents know best, as they can see what kids can’t.
When Clover started as the newest recruit of the police force she was eager to learn and knew she would be good at her job due to who her family was. What she didn’t expect was the reason why she was accepted and she didn’t expect Felix Banks her new partner. They got off to a rocky start but soon they worked it out and it was smooth sailing.
But Felix didn’t know everything about his partner and Clover didn’t know how to come clean especially after he confides about how his father died? Will their “partnership” be over before it even started or will it work out just like she hoped it would
I have read this whole series and couldn’t wait to read this one and I wasn’t disappointed. I got just what I expected and as a treat got a catch-up with the rest of the Wind Dragons. There was love, chemistry, suspense, drama and everything you would want in an MC story. Chantal I hope you change your mind and give us some more WDMC stories
ARC received for an honest review
Chantal Fernando – who is this woman, and what have you done with little Clover?
It was great to get back into Wind Dragon’s world, seeing where the guys and their ladies were at.
I was intrigued as to Clover’s choice of employment, however as the story continued, I could understand why she went that route.
I love how strong, fierce and fearless she is – however in this book, I could feel her selfishness come through the pages too, and I wasn’t expecting that of her.
Love, lust, betrayal – Clover goes through it all in this book. I mean, who can she really, truly trust?
Enter Felix, and I am all hellooooo! *fanning myself* arrest me officer, I have committed some kind of felony!
I was always waiting for the shoe to drop, and when it did – I don’t know, I was just expecting more. Don’t get me wrong, I like how things were dealt with like adults, however I wanted a big blow up. But that is just the kind of person I am hahaha.
I love, love loved getting more of the WDMC – especially my man Tracker! Oh, how I adore that man!
I do hope that we do get more of Wind Dragons – The Next Generation in the future.
Well I was excited to get this book, after reading reading about the Cursed Ravens I had wanted to read Clovers book, we knew that she had secrets when she was Erin’s roomate. However I didn’t like her and that had saddened me because she had potential but when I started reading it, she was selfish, immature and impulsive putting others in danger because she thought that she knew it all. I liked everybody else, I mean everybody else. Felix was a sweetie and loyal, her parents were badass, her best friends were awesome but again Clover not so much. I did love seeing Erin and Ace again.
