Did not see the end as written. Suspenseful.
A fun, interesting read. You will enjoy the Palm series if books.
depressing
Love this series. Wish I lived on his island. And had his dog
Very well written good serjies
I really enjoyed this book. I have read all the books in the series. Enjoy Wayne Stinnett style of writing. Feel he really knows what he is writing about, and how things work in the military. Can tell when it is made up. That part is ok as it is fiction and it all ties together.
Great Book, and author.
It’s the second Jesse McDermitt book, and stunner still was developing the character. This story puts Jessie on the road to becoming employed by the secret Govt agency that is predominate in succeeding novels. All of which are highly entertaining. The descriptions of the Keys are fantastic.
I like the way Wayne Stinnett writes. His characters are strong, good people, who work to keep us safe. The ending made me sad for the hero, even sadder for his new wife, but points out the sacrifices that these people make to keep doing their jobs.
The Jesse McDermitt stories just draw me in and keep me reading.
I can’t wait for the next book. Wayne Stinnett writes real thinking people, with talents and flaws that make you want to stay in touch and chart their growth. Enough action to keep you up too late, but not all flashbang! I have read comparisons between Jesse McDermott and my old friend Travis McGee…pretty close but Jesse’s got better …
Excellent read, very authentic environment especially for a south Florida native. Would have given it 5 stars except I didn’t like the ending, but I will buy the next book anyway.
Love this series. Full of action and characters are so real.
Hated the description of rape but the rest was awesome
this whole series is awesome….. can’t wait until the next one.
Alex should not have been killed
I looked forward to reading this book since I love the Florida Keys but was disappointed in the one dimensional character of Jesse McDermott. Revenge is his only dimension and otherwise he is not even a very good soldier, sending his fiance out to do reconnaissance on terrorists… She gets raped and beaten and later dies. For what purpose. You …
Wayne Stinnett is in the same league as Lee Child, Vince Flynn, David Baldacci and Brad Thor as well as newcomer Ty Patterson. Top notch writer.
Great character and even better series
Good part of action series
