“If we do this again, it won’t stop at kissing.” It was a dark promise…
Beckett Pierce is the most eligible bachelor in the nosiest small town in upstate New York. But after his last girlfriend handcuffed herself to his porch and set his welcome mat on fire, he’s not looking for any more romance.
Even if it lands right in his backyard. And has miles of red hair.
Gianna Decker has her hands … hair.
Gianna Decker has her hands full–no, overflowing–with problems. With two kids, a useless ex, and a brand new yoga studio, the last thing on her mind is finding a man who’ll cause her more problems.
Making out with her broody landlord? Yeah, that would be a problem. Lusting after the sexy mayor of the town she just moved to? Definitely a problem. Dating the “favorite” son of her father’s new lady friend? It seems like Beckett is a bad idea just waiting to happen.
But he’s a bad idea she can’t seem to resist.
As Beckett and Gianna find themselves thrown together again and again, they can’t help but fall into the temptation of sizzling stolen kisses, of a desire so hot it brands. And soon they’re much, much closer than they ever wanted. Tempers flair when their families complicate things and the interfering citizens of Blue Moon Bend step in with their special brand of chaos.
Can Beckett and Gianna manage to disentangle themselves before it’s too late?
Or is the temptation too much for either of them to deny?

Lucy Score has quickly become my “go to” author for anything and everything romcom. Her writing style is captivating, her stories are sweet, funny, steamy and have all the feels!
Beckett Pierce is easy my favorite hero and I was so happy to see him get his HEA with Gia.
This book has all the things I love in a romance! Quirky, charming heroine, and a (maybe) slightly misguided (but well intentioned) hero. Cute kids, loving family, and a small thriving town busting at the seams with delightful characters.
Yeap, I loved this one. Beckett and Gianna are awesome together and the town has a big part in their HEA. The second book in the Blue Moon series starts is doing much better than the first one, regarding the Blue Mooners’ involvement in stuff. The Pierce family is getting bigger by the book and I love it.
Another Lucy book I have read numerous times and never reviewed! Well If you loved the first book you will love Beckett and Gia’s book just as much if not more. Through in some great kids, interesting pasts, the landlord aspect and a yoga instructor who loses her keys more often than not and you have a recipe for a great Lucy Book! The Pierce family is one to look up to and I wish I was apart of a family like them.
Gia Decker is not Beckett Pierce’s usual type but darn if he’s captivated by her. She’s as fiery as her red hair, sexy, volatile and as down to earth as they come. Beckett is no slouch himself. The mayor of his beloved Blue Moon Bend, Beckett also has a successful law practice, is close to his family and is off the charts gorgeous. He and Gia try not to act on their attraction. There are many things to consider not the least of which her two children and the fact that he’s her landlord. But it’s a failing proposition because the pull between them is too strong. Gia’s kids are an added bonus to the mix as Beckett falls as hard for them as he does for Gia.
So on to book 2 in this series and it’s Gia (Gianna) and Beckett’s story. Gia comes back to Blue Moon after her divorce to her flakey ex-husband. She wants to set up roots for her two kids, Aurora and Evan. Actually, Evan is her stepson that she loves as if he were her biological son. Since she wants stability for both her kids and wanting to be closer to her dad (Franklin, yes that Franklin), she figured come back to Blue Moon, NY. Oh and who happens to be her landlord? Well none other than Beckett Pierce, Blue Moon’s Mayor.
Beckett, oh Beckett Mr. Stuffy pants. He can’t have the hots for the new town’s hottest Yoga instructor. She’s not his “type” and then add two kids, nope, not for him. Or so he thought. I adore the chemistry and banter between Gia and Beckett. Oh and how adorable of her 5-year-old daughter calling him Bucket, gah.
Of course, both Gia and Beckett in their minds didn’t think they could be a “couple”, but leave it to the Beautification Committee to think otherwise.
I am really digging this small town series and cannot wait to head on to the next one because I need to know of Joey and Jax are going to get their second chance.
Love this family and this series! Highly recommend reading all of the books in this series
The series is great but this is my favorite book!
More in the 4.5/5 range. Lots of fun and really cute kids in this one. Well edited. A few missing words and the odd sentence here and there, but not enough to really interrupt the flow of the story.
Beckett is the middle Pierce brother. He is the mayor, the respectable lawyer, the steady brother that kept everything afloat after his father died. His ideal woman is not Gianna Decker. His ideal is a sophisticated, tall, business suit wearing, totally put together woman. It is not the shorter, fiery haired, feisty yoga instructor with two kids. And certainly NOT the daughter of the man his mother has been dating and talking about moving in with! But, the heart wants what the heart wants. And Beckett’s heart wants Gia. First, his brain has to catch up, and then, he has to figure out how to overcome her independence and trust issues. No big deal. Oh, and don’t forget he has to try to do all of that under the radar of the Beautification Committee or he will get more encouragement, interference, and ‘help’ than he bargained for. Gia has her own issues. She is so used to relying on only herself that she really struggles to let anyone, let alone Beckett, help her with anything. I mean, what woman questions the gift of a dishwasher and thinks it needs to go right back out the door? Will Gia learn to let the past go and learn to accept help from others? Will she learn to trust that Beckett wants to stay in her life? Will the Beautification Committee keep up it’s matchmaking perfect score?
This was a lot of fun to read. Lots of banter between the Brothers Pierce, as well as fun with the kids. Got a little annoyed with Gia not trusting people’s good intentions, whether it was her father and Phoebe, the brothers, the townspeople, or Beckett. Enjoyed Carter and Summer’s wedding, as well as their most unexpected news. Looking forward to seeing Jax wear Joey down and get her to reopen her heart to him. Enjoy.
Lucy never never disappoints. I absolutely loved this book. Bucket and Gia were perfect together. And Blue Moon is just totally awesome. I love the fall fast, fall hard HEA’s and this book fit that perfectly.
4*
Beckett is mayor of blue moon and wary of women after his crazy ex. He’s still trying to get to grips with his mum’s new relationship.
Gia has arrived in blue moon to start afresh and to be closer to her father her main focus is her children.
The electric between the two is hot can they resist each other?
Another great Pierce brother story.
I’ve already downloaded “The last second chance” bk 3 Joey & Jax’s story.
I want to live in Blue Moon
I’m absolutely loving that authors like Lucy Score are bringing a touch of reality to characters by making them need to exercise and eat healthy (most of the time) to maintain their hot bodies. For a wee while there, the main characters were alcohol guzzling, pizza eating, workaholics who lived on four hours of sleep a night. It always seemed effortless for these heroines and their boobs were always perky, legs lusciously long and skin perfectly clear. I wish it was effortless…
Sure, I’m always up for an escape from reality, but with age, I’m realising that I’m picky where I want to focus that escape from reality. Give me characters that are realistic in their everyday lives…BUT…give me a hero that’s comfortable sharing the mushy gushy words. I’m a sucker for mushy gushy words. Unfortunately, while I love my hubby, getting mushy-gushy words is like pulling teeth. Sure, I get *I love you* regularly but I would love my hubby to make one of those big gesture declarations like they do in some of my favourite romance reads.
Which bring me to why I enjoyed Fall into Temptation…
Lucy Score has treated me to another story with realistic characters, faults and all, with heroes that bring out the big guns when it comes to their declarations of love. I was left extremely satisfied with my trip back to Blue Moon and I’m very keen to visit again soon.
The new yoga instructor also happens to be Beckett’s new tenant and the daughter of his mom’s new boyfriend. Beckett is struggling with his attraction to the sexy and very limber woman with fiery red hair. She’s not at all his usual type but after the last woman he dated, he has come to realise that maybe it’s time to change things up a little. Beckett soon realises that things are about to change a lot in his world when he can’t seem to get Gia off his mind. Those kids of hers are making it even harder to resist the temptation of his Red.
Gia doesn’t have time for a relationship with the sexy Mayor. Between setting up her new business, settling her kids into a new area and balancing the everyday problems a mother usually faces, she can’t risk dropping one of her balls. She can’t deny the attraction, though. The more time they spend together, the more her heart is at risk. For a while they attempt to keep things platonic… then after that fails they attempt to keep thing strictly sexual… then after that fails they attempt to keep things private… Things are definitely about to change in Gia, Even and Aurora’s (her kids) world.
I love the town of Blue Moon and all its occupants. Their quirky matchmaking team are hilarious and I loved that they maintain a very high level of success. I really wish this town was real because I would love to visit.
If you’re looking for a new series to devour and love a sexy romance with realistic ups and downs, I highly recommend giving the Blue Moon series a try.
