Wealth and power make them untouchable. The monarchs of Trinity Academy.Falcon Reyes. With a sharp, intelligent look, he reeks of arrogance wrapped in an icy layer of indifference.A life of luxury has left him with the notion that everything is attainable.Power. Wealth. Status. He’s a god and I a mere mortal. He’s Jupiter, and I am Mercury. There’s so much power in this man. He has the kind of … power in this man.
He has the kind of influence most people can’t even begin to imagine.

Falcon is the first book in the ‘Trinity Academy’ Series.
Falcon Reyes is the person that truly has everything at his disposal because of who he is and what he has; money and reputation. Money can’t buy happiness and love and the genuine care from people around him. Layla Shepard was just a girl who sees the beauty in the little things. These two are polar opposites, but the chemistry was phenomenal.
This book was beautifully written and it was loving. Their chemistry and their banter was perfectly executed and perfectly moving. The dialogue and words were so moving that I was just hooked and could not put this book down and I had to continue reading. It felt like I was in a spell.
“He’s a god and I a mere mortal. He’s a mountain lion, and I’m….a baby moose. He’s the kind of man you only dream about because being with him is only the end disguised as the beginning. Its the end of your individuality because there is no way your light can keep burning and not be consumed by his inferno.”
The literal hook that I was stuck on is still stuck because this book is a favorite! I can’t wait for more!
I LOVED this book so much! This is my first Michelle Heard book and she absolutely blew me away. The characters were perfect. The storyline sucked me in from the very beginning and I could not stop reading until I finished. I can’t wait for more in this series.
Oh mercy did Michelle nail this. I could not stop reading this book just sucked me in and had me turning pages as I kept on reading. This is the 1st book in the trilogy and as good as this book was I can’t wait to get my hand’s on the next 2. This definitely is a must read.
Falcon Reyes makes you feel sorry for him one minute and the next you’re changing your mind. He has an interesting family dynamic which may give you another chance to feel sorry for him. His family has me thinking about appearances – they may do one thing but for appearances sake they may do something else. He then does something I wasn’t expecting that had me thinking how he doesn’t let people see who he truly is.
Layla Shepard seems to be out of her element and way over her head. She knows how to stick up for herself but there were times where she appeared timid. She always seems to be afraid of what others may find out. That’s not surprising since they live in a world where your social standing seems the most important thing.
This story is a good reminder for me about not making assumptions. I started this with an eye roll and thinking how this was going to be another bully romance. We get to see three young men who are life-long friends and are there to help someone when they need it the most. It was nice that the author could surprise me. It also must be tough for an author to come up with something that the reader has not read before. Our author makes it seem so easy and that just made it hard to put this book down. We get to see Falcon grow and we get to see Layla deal with her emotions. The ending was sweet but a little mysterious as well. It left me wondering what Falcon’s friend Mason has in store for us.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Wow! When I first gawked at the covers for the Trinity Academy series, I was anxiously waiting for the release of the first book Falcon and holy freaking moley. What a freaking amazing read. I love Falcon and Layla’s story and Michelle’s writing will give you all the feels and more. I was captivated and didn’t put the book down until the ending and oh my gosh. I can not wait for Mason’s story. Do not wait to read this series. I highly recommend reading this book.
I thank the author for providing a copy for review.

Falcon is the first book in the Trinity Academy Series and since I had heard about this series I have been waiting for this book. After reading it, the wait was worth it. Falcon and Layla are a perfect match even though they are on opposite ends of the social scale. The drama brings all of it out to the front as well as the romance between Layla and Falcon. The underlying sinister elements certainly make for an unpredictable tale, bring it on. Can’t wait for Mason’s book.
I’ve been eagerly awaiting this new series, and it is incredible! In this first book, we are introduced to Falcon, Lake and Mason. Three best friends who pretty much “rule the school”, and as you read, it takes on so many different meanings. But this book focuses on Falcon and Layla. He is a definite strong alpha but you just know he has to have a heart in there somewhere. And Layla is a young girl who is full of life, funny and doesn’t let anyone take advantage of her. These two definitely have major chemistry and they do belong together, but so many outside forces are against them. Can they persevere and make a go of a relationship?? I love the interactions of all the characters in this story. Each one is unique in their own way, yet they all seem to mesh together somehow. I truly enjoyed this book and can’t wait for the next in the series!
“Falcon” (Trinity Academy Book 1) by Michelle Heard is the first book I read from Michelle, and I was hooked. Not only was I hooked but really enjoy the story of Falcon and Layla. Falcon is a very well written book with a story line that grabs you and you do not want to let go. Tons of emotion from the story and from you as you read on. With tons of drama that keeps the characters busy and on the go. The alpha protector side of Falcon that comes out every time his around Layla only made me fall in love with these two characters even more. What a page-turner that you will not want to put it down. Trinity Academy is a interconnected series that keeps going to the next book witch I can’t wait to get my hands on Mason.
I absolutely loved this book. I will admit I was a little apprehensive going in. This is not my usual reads. The author has sold me on this. I absolutely love Falcon and Layla. They are perfect for each other. Their journey together is memorable. The writing and flow of this book is done well. I absolutely recommend this book.
Michelle Heard writes an emotional and angsty story about an unlikely pairing in this opposites attract, college, new adult romance. It is an interconnected series but can be read as a standalone.
The characters were so different but I loved every one of them! They were complex, beautiful, and some are broken. I loved unraveling every layer. Falcon is definitely an alpha, possessive male but with a fierce loyalty to those important to him. Falcon is definitely my favorite. Layla is not like the rest of the privileged bunch who attend Trinity Academy. She’s smart, strong, smart-mouthed, independent, and takes no BS off of anyone. Not even Falcon. I loved this about her. She just wants to lay low and get a good education, take advantage of the privilege that’s been afforded to her. What happens when she catches the attention of Trinity Academy’s unattainable bad boy, Falcon Reyes?
What a way to start this series!!! This story brings so many feels! It is heartbreaking, funny, sexy, and romantic. The plot is very well-written. There is action, suspense, jealousy, betrayal, billionaires, friendship, passion, and drama. I was hanging on to every word and couldn’t put it down. There is so much more than meets the eye in this plot and the ending is an OMG, holy crap moment that left me dying for more! I highly recommend reading this series!
****ARC generously provided in exchange for an honest review.****
Layla knows she is completely out of her element at Trinity Academy, she doesn’t come from a wealthy family, wear designer clothes or keep up on the latest trends. She is just a normal girl who happened to be lucky enough to get a scholarship to the school and she has no intentions of wasting the opportunity.
Her plan is to keep her head down, not draw any unwanted attention, and focus on her studies… which becomes easier said than done when she happens to catch the eye of their most prestigious student Falcon Reyes!
Between the pages of this mesmerizing tale readers will meet a couple who come from different worlds, but find something truly special in one another when life throws them on the same path. Layla tried her best to keep herself away from the handsome king of campus, but when he decided he wanted her, there was no avoiding him… he made sure of it. Their union brought many moments to swoon and smile over, as well as moments that stirred up the feels, it was such a wonderful story. I loved meeting these perfectly drawn characters, each one unique in their own right, and each with what I am sure is to be a captivating story to tell. I cannot wait to dive into the rest of the series and see all of them find their happily ever afters too! Highly recommend!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
Falcon is the first book in the Trinity Academy series by Michelle Heard. Falcon Reyes is seen as a God at school, not only is he gorgeous, but his wealth and power make him untouchable. Enter Layla, a girl who may be smart, but doesn’t come from the same type of money that Falcon does, and to make her life harder at school, her mother is Falcon’s father’s PA and she is only going to the school due to that.
This story is all about class and how certain people try to fit in but to the detriment of themselves. This book has lots of ups and downs. Although the main synopsis is the growing relationship between Falcon and Layla, we also see Falcon’s relationship and expectations of his horrid mother, how Layla is treated as a woman because she doesn’t fit into that mold (some trigger warnings) and how some people think that their money will cover up for them.
This was a highly addictive novel. Layla as a character is great and the fact that she makes herself fit into Falcon’s group had moments where you laugh out loud because it was quite awkward (hugging Mason…classic!). Falcon and Layla are perfect for each other, mainly due to the fact that they do seem to be so in sync. The pranks that they try to pull on each other were hilarious and I’m glad that Layla put Falcon in his place a time or two.
The relationship between other characters, such as Mason, Lake, Julian and Kingsley were so well done and you really see the connection between them all when you’re reading. I highly recommend this book if you’re looking for a fun, easy, emotional read with really great characters!

4.5 stars
I really enjoyed this book ! The characters were so easy to love and well developed ! And this authors world Building was beautifully done ! I was drawn In quickly and have been left wanting more !
Falcon and Layla are opposites – he’s rich she’s not he’s a softy (behind his facade ) and she isn’t going to take sh*t from anyone. I loved this about her and them. They have a bit of insta chemistry really
However it’s also slowburn ish story . There’s some angsty bits and more parts that made me laugh out loud .
I wanted to give it a high rating because I can’t wait to read more of these characters ,
My only qualm was that there were a few parts of the story that felt a little disjointed or lacked some depth but they were smaller pieces of a much bigger story .
If you like rich young adult romance this is a great read
4 stars for Falcon by Michelle Heard. This is book 1 in the Trinity Academy series. Falcon is a rich jerk, who doesn’t answer to anyone. He has power and status. Layla is at Trinity because of Falcon’s father. She is poor , doesn’t let anyone walk on her, and she has big dreams. I loved the chemistry Layla and Falcon. I instantly wanted to just hold Falcon and give him a hug. There was so much more to him than what he shows everyone. The plot and drama in this book were fantastic. The side characters though really elevated the book. I want more of Mason, that tortured man . I am starting his book next.
FALCON (Trinity Academy #1) by Michelle Heard
5 STARS
FALCON is the first book in the New Adult series by Michelle Heard, Trinity Academy’ series. The book is told in dual POV and it tells Falcon and Layla story.
Falcon is my first read from this author, and I am so happy that it was an amazing read. The story was so addictive.
Trinity Academy is “THE SCHOOL”. Here only the wealthy people can attend. At Trinity Academy money rule the world. At Trinity Academy, all that matters is Money, Power, and Status.
Falcon is “The One”, the wealthiest of all, the BOSS. He and his “brothers”, Mason and Lake are everything at Trinity Academy.
All the boys want to be them, or friends with them.
All the girls want to bang them.
Everyone wants to be in their good graces.
And off course, they are bored with everything and everyone.
Things are changing this year. Starting the new year at Trinity Academy is Layla. Layla is attending Trinity Academy thanks to Falcon’s father. Her mother is Falcon’s father P. A.
Falcon instantly hates Layla. He wants her out of the Academy. The Trinity Academy isn’t for her. She doesn’t “fit” in. She doesn’t have the money and/or status. And, if that wasn’t enough, she doesn’t know her place. She doesn’t bow to him, she doesn’t take his shit, she challenges him at every step. She is a mouth of fresh air. She is something different and definitely something new.
Only, Falcons plans change. Someone hurts Layla, and so, his feelings for her change. Or maybe, his feelings just come true, and so, he must admit that he actually loves her.
For me, it was a great read. Fast and easy, addictive.
The writing was good, the story was good.
On to Mason now.
Falcon pretty much rules Trinity Academy, a school for the upper crust, the wealthiest families in society. Along with his best friends, Mason and Lake, the three are at the top of the food chain so to speak. When his father informs him that he sponsored Layla, his PA’s daughter, to attend and asked if Falcon could look out for her, Falcon has no intentions to, that is until he sees her and decides that yes, he needs to or the poor girl will get eaten by the piranhas. When he decides to make her his assistant it’s just to irk his mother, and irritate Layla. He doesn’t realize that the sparring back and forth they do, will lead to him having actual feelings, feelings that he never had for someone else before. Can two people from the complete opposite sides of the wealth ladder actually work? Or are they too different?
This was a good first book for the series. Loads of drama, a scary moment or two and a tiny bit of violence. All in all this was very entertaining, and I can’t wait to see where it goes. I give this 4 stars.
Loved this book. On to Mason’s story
4 Never Ending Moment’s
This is book 1 in the Trinity Academy series. This series follows three of the Elite: Falcon, Mason, and Lake and the women who bring them to their knees. Michelle has created a wonderfully quick addictive read that gives you everything you are looking for; a little suspense, drama, romance, and intrigue woven into a delectable tale. I devoured this story in one sitting and thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Falcon and Layla are the perfect combination of Alpha Elite and the girl next door.
“Careful, Falcon. If you fly too close to the sun, you’ll end up burning your wings.”
Falcon is an Alpha all the way. He has grown up with the best of everything. But at the same time hasn’t received any real love or connection with his family. They use money as a means to show their feelings as opposed to real affection. This broke my heart for him, you can feel that he just wants to find someone who wants him just for being him and not what his connections or money can bring. Michelle did a great job of showcasing the ultimate loneliness that Falcon feels and what money can’t fix. I loved watching as his character grew from the cold closed off asshole to someone with real warmth and affection, and not just for Mason and Lake. You can really see how finding someone can truly change who you are and bring light to your life.
“He’s a god, and I a mere mortal.”
Layla is amazing, she doesn’t take anyone’s crap and that includes Falcon’s. He’s so used to people doing anything he wants, and here comes Layla who could care less. She doesn’t want anyone to know that she’s there, she doesn’t want anything from him, and this confuses him I loved her sass and her fighting spirit. She knows what she wants and who she is and doesn’t want to change for anyone. It’s always so amazing to see these strong woman who refuse to back down and change for their men. It could be so easy to be swept up in the money and what society expects, but it takes true strength of character to not bend.
“I fell for him when he kissed me as if he was poisoned, and I was his only cure.”
Michelle has created another intriguing series that will take you on an epic journey of self-discovery and everlasting love. Falcon and Layla are Perfection as the try to navigate their way through life and the unexpected presence of first love. I enjoyed this story and all the feelings it conjured. I blew through it quickly and couldn’t wait to jump into the next to see what happens. Also, because Michelle leaves you on the edge of your seat with a cliffy that you do not see coming.
I love reading about Falcon and Layla. Seeing two people come from such different lives and figuring out how to make things work is always amazing. Falcon doesnt want to like Layla and does his best to keep her at a distance but you cant deny love forever. He knows social status and wealth mean nothing if you cant be happy.
This book flew high! 4 stars
This is a new adult/college romance that I enjoyed! Falcon comes from a wealthy family, and Layla is comes from a middle-class background with her mom being Falcon’s father’s personal assistant at his corporate business. Layla comes to Trinity Academy because of her mom where she meets Falcon, & this is where the story starts. I loved that Layla was sassy & does not take Falcon’s shiznit! Falcon has never had anyone treat him that way, & he is intrigued by her. I love a woman who can bring a man down to his knees! The author made me feel for Falcon, because on the outside it seems like he has everything but reality is not what it seems. Falcon & Layla’s love happens fast, so be prepared! I loved that Layla brought color to his black & white existence! The angst was appropriate for a couple in different social statuses. I also enjoyed Falcon’s 2 best friends & Layla’s best friend. This book flew high until the end with that cliffhanger, & now I can’t wait to see what happens!
