“When I kissed you last night, I wasn’t pretending.”Everly Dalton is a walking, talking, martini-drinking dating disaster. Forget kissing frogs. She can’t even get past the first date. But at work, she’s a badass—the longest-running assistant billionaire Shepherd Calloway has ever had. Her coworkers wonder how she handles the big bad wolf—and never gets bit. Shepherd Calloway isn’t interested in …
Shepherd Calloway isn’t interested in being anyone’s sugar daddy. Tired of women who only want him for his money, he swears off dating, determined to focus on running his empire. Until his gold-digging ex hits him where it hurts, putting him in a difficult position.
His solution—to have Everly pose as his live-in girlfriend—is obviously crazy. But the timing is uncanny. It just so happens Everly needs a favor from her boss—a big and awkward one—and this could ensure everyone gets what they want.
Besides, Everly can totally survive a few months of faux romance.
Except there’s a problem. Shepherd is supposed to be a single-minded, unemotional robot boss. Not an actual human with a heart and morning wood. Between the awkward bed-sharing and tingly fake dates, lines are blurring. And as Everly gets to know the real Shepherd, she discovers there’s more to the man behind the bank account.
And faking it gets all too real.
Faking Ms. Right is a hot, STAND-ALONE romantic comedy.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
Everly is a sweet and easygoing girl but she seems to be cursed that is when she goes on first dates they all turn out to be disastrous. This is her personal life while on her professional side, she is a great executive assistant to a man, who in her opinion, is completely unresponsive when dealing with human beings. So what happens when Mr. sexy and robotic man asks his assistant to fake a relationship because he needs to get rid of an unpleasant situation? Let me clear a few things. Everly is the typical girl that doesn’t say no to anyone because she wants to see everybody happy even if this means sacrificing herself. So she cannot say no to her boss, also because she needs a favor in return (but I won’t reveal it) and dives into this new adventure convinced that her heart is completely shielded from any delusional situation. So, when you go deeply into the story, just expect the weirdest things to happen because wherever Everly is, things just go in a certain way. Two characters so different from one another. She is sweet and kind, he, on the contrary is cold and calculating. So I would like to warn everyone who decides to read this book that you will be swept away by a hilarious, involving dreamy romance in which you won’t get tired neither of the story, nor of the characters and their supportive family.
Everly Dalton is a ray of sunshine with the worst luck when it comes to men. Shepherd Calloway is a broody billionaire alpha with a secret. These two getting together to right a wrong by Shep makes for an amusing tale that leads to ‘catching feelings’. I really want to be Everly’s BFF along with Nora and Hazel. Their friendship shines through in how they support each other and their reactions to some of the events is down right hilarious. (yeah, I know I’m being vague, don’t want to spoil the fun)
Again, I can’t stress how much I loved Everly. While Shep stood out as the book boyfriend all your reader friends will be fighting over, she stole my heart. From her relationship with her sister and coworkers to her natural way of making friends with a delivery guy, she’s a delightful heroine. I mean, don’t get me wrong, Shep and those sex scene *fanning myself* I’ll fight over him too.
The well developed cast, the witty banter, the scorching chemistry had me wanting more. I devoured this book and look forward to future installments, hint-hint. It’s a romantic-comedy that manages to include all the feels and has you smiling, gasping, cheering, cussing and laughing.
5 huge stars for this book!!! Fake relationships and grumpy heros are my most favorite things and Claire Kingsley delivered both in a big way.
Everly Dalton is done dating. After suffering through too many dating disasters, she has had it! Until her grumpy, cold boss needs an emergency fake date and it isn’t a disaster at all.
Shepherd Calloway reluctantly calls on his assistant when he finds himself in a tight situation. Everly is the perfect assistant but who knew how gorgeous and funny and sexy she was? Now he finds himself with a fake girlfriend…but it doesn’t feel so fake anymore. How can this end in anything but disaster? Unless Everly is the one person Shepherd can trust with his secrets and his heart.
I loved this SO much!!! It’s funny and sexy with a sweet happy ending. I can’t wait for more in this series!
I will admit to some apprehension when I started Faking Ms Right. I was really bothered about how Shepard got himself into the situation with Every. But have faith, readers! Claire Kingsley brings it around to fantastic. Poor Shepard thinks he is genetically cold and closed off. Sunshiney, happy Everly is there to help him save face by following his crazy scheme. She shows him that she can be trusted with his true self and helps him melt that cold exterior. It was a real pleasure reading this book. I am so glad that I kept going because Kingsley writes a wonderful romance.
I loved Shepherd & Everly! Fake relationship books are some of my favorites & this one did not disappoint! I adored all of the characters & am hoping for more of them in the future.
