The first ring I ever wore was the one he slipped over my finger. My hand shook the whole time. It would be romantic… if it wasn’t a big lie.You see, even if I think Xander is the sexiest man alive—so handsome that I didn’t hesitate to jump into bed with him before I knew his full name—he only wants one thing from me: a pretend engagement. If I act like I’m his fiancé, he’ll get what he wants … get what he wants from his strict family.
What’s in it for me?
Enough money to clear out every cent of my debt.
I should be happy this opportunity walked its way into my world on a pair of Italian leather shoes, but instead, I’m sweating bullets.
Xander made it painfully clear that he wanted a no strings deal.
What will he do when he realizes there’s a huge knot tying us together forever?
Because I’m pregnant with his baby.

Penny is awesome and knows how write. It’s both parts sexy and so sweet that it gives you a toothache. Xzander and Melanie were absolutely adorable together plus the sexy times were perfection. I loved all of the characters but I would like for Devan and Andrews love story to me told. Until next time y’all happy reading.
Faking isn’t necessary with the right person. Sometimes finding them is as easy as looking up from a book. While these two are from different worlds, they clearly speak the same language.
Faking It For Mr. Right is a sweet smiling inducing read with some delicious chemistry. It may require a cold drink near by to help cool you off. Just don’t fake it too hard..
I enjoyed this sexy, sweet romance very much. The characters are likable and the story is fun. Another great read by Penny Wylder.
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
Faking it or making it???
Somewhere in ‘Smalltown, USA’, a girl is once again wishing for something different as she spends another awful night waitressing in her hometown bar. Her boss is a total jerk, but bill’s are piling up and Melanie is lucky to have a job at all, so she puts one foot in front of the other once again. Another day, another lousy tip!
Something or should I say a very gorgeous someone, appears as her savior on a night from hell, when nothing is going right and drunken idiots are coming out of the woodwork, heading straight for her!
Xander takes a chance, getting to know Melanie would be amazing so he doesn’t have to spend another lonely evening in a town he’s in just for a business meeting. A hot, steamy date at midnight with the lovely Melanie sounds like just what he needs tonight.
This short but very wicked and sweet book kind of has a Cinderella vibe without the hateful step family! The sexy guy isn’t a prince, just a wealthy man from NYC. The beautiful country girl won’t be found sweeping ashes from the hearth but will be cleaning broken glass from the sticky bar floor instead! Yet somehow, these social opposites have their minds on each other long after the one night stand ends and reality sets back in. What could possibly happen next, you ask??? Wouldn’t you love to know!!!
This was a flirty, dirty and steamy romance that was fun and sexy with a little bit of mystery and just the right length to fit easily into my evening plans. Add in a beautiful ending to wrap it all up and this new release of Penny’s is once again the perfect companion for a cold fall night.
I was happy to be gifted an early copy and am sharing my honest review of it here.
Good and quite hot
The story is well written, rather cute and simple: After spending a night together, Xander, a rich New Yorker passing through a small town, comes back to Melanie to propose her to be his fake fiancee to get something from his father. What seemed to be an infatuation for each other is changing rapidly for Melanie, but Xander’s feelings are not as clear as hers.

What a sweet romance that starts our fake but quickly turns real. She was the wife he never knew he needed. He’s a wealthy guy passing through her town and they meet when he rescues her from an abusive customer. Melanie and Xander’s chemistry was off the charts and they both were sweet, likable people. Some drama, misunderstandings and a great HEA. A quick read that is hard to put down. The secondary characters are a good addition.
