good story, didn’t need detailed sex scenes
A bit disjointed
The problem with this was not the story but the use of foul language and the explicit sex. It is well written but it seems the author couldn’t make the story interesting or long enough with out using foul words and explicit sex to fill up the pages. Try again and work a little harder on the story line.
Too much vulgar language, too many descriptive sex episodes, too many disrespectful millennials
Gave insight to darker emotions including hurting yourself to feel pain and dealing with alcoholism and mental illnesses
Did not like this book. Story was ok but too much sex
Once I got about 3/4 of the way through, and realized there were sequels, I thought, “I definitely won’t be reading the sequels. Why am I still reading this one?” That’s when I decided to stop reading and move on to another book.
Certainly a different plot.
The storyline was interesting. Didn’t care for the explicit sexual descriptions.
This was a self indulgent story about depression and cutting and unsuccessfully tried to resolve it with a contrive fair tale about street drugs being magic to ward off black thoughts and suicide being the ticket to happiness. Disturbing and yet trite in many ways. Don’t recommend.
Very light read. Characters predictable.
Cute little story about friendship, dependency and healing.
The heroine had many issues to work through which made her pretty human
Enjoyed this series. Hard to believe there are men out there as in touch with their feelings and willing to express them as portrayed but it’s nice to dream. And they are dream-worthy. And the women are intense and well-developed.
I love a book that makes you actually feel for the characters.
Ok read that was a Little too far fetched & predictable romance wise.
Really good book. Loved it.
This entire series is addictive!
Family dynamics are difficult, especially when you don’t know your family. What she did know wasn’t helpful. She would need to belong somewhere, make her own “family” to care about and heal herself in order to move on. I could have done without the explicit sex, but the storyline was good
