DrewI hate the lies you tell. For as long as I could remember, everything in my world had been fake. The happy nuclear family. The loving parents. The close father-son relationship. The respectable family business. All lies. I’d had it with the pretense and the show, but I was trapped on a dizzying merry-go-round of deception, and I couldn’t get off. So when she was thrown unexpectedly into my … when she was thrown unexpectedly into my path, and I discovered she was just another fake, I needed to make her pay. Little did I know, the deceit ran deeper than I could have imagined, and nothing was as it seemed.
Kik
I tell the lies I hate.
I hated the lies and the pretense, but if I was going to achieve what I wanted in life, they were a necessary evil. Truth was, I’d mostly made peace with the idea. What I was doing was a means to an end, and the end definitely justified the means. Besides, it wasn’t forever—nothing ever was.
Everybody had to do what they had to do, right? I could live with that. Kinda. Sorta. Maybe. At least I thought I could until he came bursting into my life, and was determined to tear down everything I’d worked so hard to build.
**Fake You is a complete standalone dark, angsty, rollercoaster of a bully romance. However, it contains references to characters and events first depicted in book 1 of the Boys Of Trinity Hall series, and as such, although it can be read and enjoyed alone, reading Break You first will make for the best possible reading experience.

This series is taking the whole bully trope and smacking it upside the head! I am absolutely floored and in awe of Ms. Ellis’ new story in this series!
This is the story of Drew and Kik.
First off I applaud Ms. Ellis for making Kik the gal that she is, she is strong, fierce and a tomboy to the extreme and makes no bones about it! She is comfortable in the way she is and makes no apologies for it. She is loyal to those she loves to the extreme and will do anything and everything to make sure their needs are met.
Drew…woo wee! This hero is definitely one you will absolutely love to hate! He is an alpha-hole to the extreme and will stop at nothing to take Kik down. But then throughout the story, you see him change into the man you know he can be. He is worthy and even when he’s acting ugly, you can see glimpses of his redeemability.
I have admired Ms. Ellis’ stories since the beginning and she has yet to change my way of thinking and admiring her! In fact, in every new book she puts out, I can almost feel the confidence building in her writing. So well done!!
I can’t wait to see the next book in this series! Who’s it going to be??
Things are all kinds of messed up in the world of the Trinity Hall Boys
Drew has a mission, and he’s not stopping until Kik does.
Kik has a goal, and she’s attaining it whether anyone likes it or not.
Between the two of them, the battle of wills is FIERCE.
But together? The two of them come alive when they’re together, burning hotter than the sun, about ready to combust. They’re playing a dangerous game, burning for the enemy.
I love the glimpses of Rocky & Xavier, as well as the attention put into not giving away their story.
Definitely recommend.
First things first..I don’t think I’ve loved a couple more, who hate each other with so much palpable passion as much as Kik and Drew!
These two are so hot with their intense sexual vitriol, this book vibrates with it!
Drew and Kik were introduced to us in Break You, and I was keen to see more of these two, especially Drew.
He is such a powerful physical and emotional character, with a sexy smart mouth; he oozes charisma straight off the page.
Kik, conversely is such an exotic resilient creature with a whole lot on her plate and even more at stake, but that doesn’t stop her from going toe to toe with Drew; she’s his perfect adversary, and he’s hell bent on destroying her.
But this privileged bad boy also has his own demons and agenda, and it doesn’t take long for them to realise their real and common enemy. But can they put their hate, and lust aside long enough to both come out victors?
This is one intense ride with a generous, hot and equally intense chemistry between these two.
This book confirms this Boys of Trinity Hall series is seriously heating up!!
Loved it!!
So this was Drew and Kik’s story, and what a story it was! Another enemy to lover romance. I loved Kik’s character and how stubborn she was. Her interactions with Drew were off the chart and the chemistry between them was really hot!! Drew was your typical dominating Alpha (just my type) and you could tell how conflicted he was through out the story with wanting her, but also NOT wanting her due to his father. I like how he took charge of Kik and the whole situation with his father and this in turn helped Kik. Their back and forth interactions were full of angst and also amusing at times. It was a really enjoyable story which was fast paced but also had the details and supporting characters which you need in a good book.
What i really like about MV Ellis is that her characters are gritty and real. Kik for example is not your typical beauty queen type girl, instead she is a petite tomboy and proud! Yet Drew is smitten with her. I really like that and cant wait to read the next book in the series!
I received an ARC from the author in exchange for my honest review.
3.5 stars
While I liked this book, I didn’t love it as much at book 1. I do like that it was set in the same timeframe as book 1 so we got to see more of what was going on and from a different perspective. While I liked both characters, I didn’t feel a sting connection to either one. Overall, I liked the plot/story but there was just something that stopped me from loving it. I will still continue to read this author’s books though.
QUOTE: Drew and I weren’t in a relationship–we were at war.
This book was outstanding. This is my second book by MV Ellis and won’t be my last. The story capture my attention instantly with the enemies to lover/bully trope and kept me turning page after page. The angst was real. Drew was a total a$$hat but he redeemed himself gloriously but the end of the story. The hate sex was five stars on it’s own. Honestly I’ve stewed for over a week before leaving this review because it was soooo hard to write this one. As much as I loved the story, I couldn’t leave a five star review–though I’d love too for sure!!! My one complaint for Fake You was the numerous errors–Spelling, Grammatical, extra words in a sentence, punctuation, etc. I read this in kindle unlimited and if it had been one or two I could have overlooked that, but the number of errors became quite distracting and affected the structure of sentences. As much as I absolutely loved MV Ellis’s storytelling and as gripping as Fake You was, it was too much for me to overlook. If this had been an ARC, I never would have said anything in a review…It’s a finished product and should have been proofread at the very least. Hints the four stars instead of five. If you can overlook errors, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this book because I truly loved the story!
These characters had explosive chemistry. I really enjoyed Drew and Kik’s story. I adored these characters in the first book and I was pleased with their story. A great enemies to lovers romance

Drew hates all the lies and fakers around him. His father is a terrible man so when he tells him to keep someone quiet that is blackmailing him he finds Kik. He thought Kik was a guy until he walks in on her while she’s dressing and puts her against a wall. The two have instant chemistry even though they are enemies. Kik is hiding a secret about Drew’s dad and when he finds out all bets are off. Drew stalks Kik as he still can’t stay away from her. The two were dynamite together and kept me reading until the end.

This series isn’t a sweet insta love story so if that’s what you are looking for this book isn’t for you. But if you are looking for an intense angst filled book that still ends with a happy ending then this won’t disappoint.

They say that there is a fine line between Love and Hate. Kik and Drew lived that fine line. Both in positions in life where they had no real control over their lives put them both in other people’s hands through no real fault of them.
This story was at first thought to be a bully style romance, however this was taken to a whole other level.
Wonderful complex characters with a great backstory, that has all the characters around these books interwoven
Highly recommended read
I loved Drew and Kik’s storyline. The characters are well developed and engaging and the storyline was fun from the start to the end.

This is the 2nd book int his amazing series and is Drew and Kik’s story. This is a well written emotional roller coaster which s a dark read with angst, enemies / lovers, and is in all-round entertaining read. I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait o read more from this gifted author. I highly recommend this awesome series for all readers.
this story is not as dark as the previous. there is bullying, stalking and utter chaos. Drew causes major pains for Kik. Kik and Drew were enemies but the interactions were in some cases pretty funny. she gives him a run for his money too. Kik was a unique character. she is feisty, sarcastic, loyal and will fight to the end for those she loves. Drew is ruthless and unfeeling. However, those in his circle are protected and loved by him. He has some soft spots. He calls his grandfather Grampsie. they battle frequently and yet they can’t keep their hands off each other. Their feelings confuse them and make for a good story that will have you hating to put down the book. Your emotions will run wild. Good character growth and a good read.
Im not the biggest fan of bully romance but I done mind this series since it doesn’t cross the lines of questionable consent. Drew and Kik hate each other, for good reasons, but can’t stay away from each other either. There are lots of steamy scenes and the action is fast paced. There are a few details that get glossed over, like Drew buying Kik’s apartment building, that make it a bit far fetched. Otherwise it’s a solid second story to the series.

This book just wrecked me!! It was amazing! I could not get enough of Drew and Kik!! My favorite book of 2020 so far!
Bully romances are my kryptonite and I can’t get enough of them. Drew and Kiks back and forth tug of war was epic and I devoured it
This is MV Ellis’ next book in The Boys of Trinity Hall series. This is the enemies to lovers story of Kik and Drew. A story that starts off as enemies and ends up as lovers creates so much drama and sexual tension that the reader can’t help but become engaged in the drama. The disdain they exhibit toward each other gives the reader some damn good chemistry that is sustained throughout the book. Kik and Drew are from two very different worlds and, were it not for some specific and unfortunate circumstances, they would likely have never crossed paths. Both Kik and Drew are doing their best to navigate through some very serious issues relating to their fathers, but they’re approaching the issues from very different points of view and stations in life. This story is a wild ride and worth the read! I’m waiting on book three in this series.
Exciting fast paced read. Characters were well written and the plot was interesting. Kept my interest throughout. Many ups and downs in the plot kept me glued to the story. Definitely recommend this book.

I immediately fell in love with Kik right away because she is a good person that is looking to do what is right. Drew is bully with rough edges but he finally won me over with the changes that he made. Kristina Sanchez aka Kik is on a serious mission to bring down a corporation that is hurting people and you will find out why that is as you continue to read this book. Drew goes to Kik and tells her that she needs to back off on what she is trying to do but this only motivates her more. I don’t think that Drew knew what he was expecting when he met Kik for the first time and he was only doing what he was told to do by the higher ups. Its a game of cat and mouse with Drew and Kik going at it and trying to see who will crack first. You won’t be able to put this book down once you start reading it.
