This was a cute fun quick morning read. Jessica and David’s story was fun to read about. Very well written.
Our heroine is fired for being late, but literally falls into the arms of our hero. She agrees to be his fake date and things blossom from there..
This is part of the Wedding Season, a loosely connected series of stories all sharing a common theme, in this case weddings. Each story is written by an established author, but beyond the theme, they are all standalone stories. Read one or read them all at your leisure.
This is a sweet little story with a pair of wonderful characters. Our heroine is the centerpiece and she is motivated to reach her dream, if a little overwhelmed by the road to get there. The characters develop nice chemistry and fit together well, which made for a fun evening read on the way to their HEA.
Highly recommended.

This was a very sweet instant romance. I was caught from first to last page. I liked the characters and how the interact with each other. Everything happens fast but still it feels right.
She has a really bad day and he is there for her. They complete each other.
I loved this short story of Jessica and David! It is well written, funny and even though short I did not feel like the story was rushed or lacking. I enjoyed it and will look for more stories from this writer!

Jessica and David meet by chance and the sparks are instantaneous. Dave needs rescued from his horrible ex-girlfriend and Jessica was in the perfect place at the right time. He sweeps her off her feet and she just knows she has found her prince charming. Unfortunately after an amazing night David leaves for business and leaves Jessica a dear John letter and a check. Heartbroken Jessica leaves and goes back to her real life. David doesn’t understand where he went wrong until his mother points out what he did. Mortified he sets out to make it right but will it be too little to late or will Jessica shove their love another shot? This was a short and sweet romance with a hea.

Fake Plus One is a well written short romance. I loved the way Jessica and David met and how what started out as a fake relationship turns out to be the real thing. This novella is filled with humor, steam and great characters. I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future.
A short, steamy, sweet, and enjoyable ‘love at first fall’ romance; a well written, consistent, and fast pace page turner. Interesting and likeable characters; the chemistry between them is instant, intense, and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

Jessica was running late for her catering job when she literally ran into David. David caught Jessica before she fell and then asked her to play along to help him out of an awkward situation. However by helping him she lost her catering job. David felt so bad that he offered her five thousand dollars if she would be his date to his sister’s wedding and even got her a dress and got her hair and make up done. She agreed and had a wonderful time with his mother and him. David and her ended the night in his room. The next morning she awake to a note and a check that made her feel like he was paying her off so she left disappointed. Can David show her that their night was just the start of something amazing for them?
This is a great story that will have you drawn in from the first word. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This was the first Arlo Arrow book that I have read, and this was a great addition to the Wedding season collaboration.
It was fun and fast-paced. The story was a little cheesy, and everything was a bit too perfect, but that didn’t matter as the loveliness of it made me smile. Don’t we all want to get dressed up like a princess for the day, and not only dressed up but have an army of professionals at our beck and call to make us look amazing!
Jessica is down on her luck when she meets David by accident outside his sister’s wedding venue. However, they can help each other out for one night only. It did have a very ‘Pretty Woman’ vibe to it (although Jessica was out definitely not a prostitute) and the author even gives the nod to the film.
Overall, an enjoyable and pleasant read that has the perfect happy ever after at the end.

Literally falling in love
I liked this story. The Cinderella take on it was romantic. Jessica is just trying to stay above water and follow her dreams. Rushing to her second job she literally falls for David. He’s there to catch her and offers her a ‘job’ that turns into so much more. A steamy night together brings hope for a future. A misunderstanding has her running away. Now, David has to apologize and try to win her back. This story made me smile.
Loved the book it was great the story was well written and the characters were interesting. Jessica and David have an instant connection when jess fell into him. David needs a plus one to his sister wedding so he asks Jess to join him all his family love her.

This is a story in this summer series of weddings and love. True to the theme, this story is full of love, romance, marriages, sweetness and a whole bunch of other good things. These stories are, as far as I know, all short or on the shorter side, but this one is at least quite short. Still it manages to keep the integrity needed to make it a good story and it has a lot of the elments a good romance needs. So job well done to the author, managing to write more or less a complete story in this short form without it suffering all too much for the shortness of it.

Gem of a Romantic Novella.
Author Arlo Arrow has given his reader a gem of a novella with themes of Cinderella/Pretty Woman throughout. Out two main characters, Jessica and James, meet when she trips on her way into working at the event he is attending – his sister’s wedding. Because he makes her late therefore fired, he pays her to act as his date. She agrees. From there they set each other’s heart ablaze only to break in the morning – but for very different reasons. Is she over reacting? Is he that stupid? Will they have their HEA? Of course they will. But the journey they go on is fun, romantic and endearing.
Definitely recommending this novella for your reading enjoyment and pleasure. Peace.

This is short easy read. Jessica is working a few jobs to make ends met. Arriving late for one of her jobs she falls into the arms of David, who is escaping a needy & horrible ex. She is roped into attending his sisters wedding as a fake fiancée. The family warm to her all with the exception of the ex. But after that & an amazing night he leaves with out saying goodbye.
So will she get her HEA & David see that they were meant to be? What does a billionaire CEO want with a waitress & would be Actress?
Definitely for the true romantics.

Now I loved this book. The love in it was quite quick but isn’t that what romance books are all about sometimes. David was definitely the hero of the hour and was so sweet when it came to Jessica. As usual the hero has an ex who also happens to be the best friend of his sister but oh well you can’t beat love. Will Jessica and David have a future??? A cute read from start to finish with some fantastic characters
