Fake. That’s what we are. That’s what we agreed to be.I thought it would be harder, convincing everyone our school’s star receiver was mine and mine alone, but we played our parts well.So well, the lines between us began to blur until they disappeared completely. The thing about pretending, though, someone’s always better at it, and by the time I realized my mistake, there was no going back.I fell … my mistake, there was no going back.
I fell for our lie.
And then everything fell apart.
It turned out he and I were never playing the same game.
He didn’t have to break me to win.
But he did it anyway.

Demi & Nico were the perfect High School Romance read for me.
Fake It ‘Till You Break It was Kindle Crack goodness! I couldn’t put this book down until the last page and then I was sad that it was over. There was so much that I loved about this book that I had a hard time writing this review.
I loved Demi & Nico. I loved how confident and cocky they could both be but at the same time how utterly vulnerable they both were. Demi’s circle of friends were so much fun to read I think I may have been jealous of a fictional girl squad Nico & Trent were so hot and utterly adorable while also so awesomely Alpha I may have wanted to jump a couple of fictitious high school seniors.
This book was utter perfection! A definite must read!

Meagan Brandy did it again!!!
Mrs. Brandy has this ability to make me fall head over heels in love with her books. I don’t know how she does it but in my eyes she can not do any wrong and Fake It ‘Till You Break It is the perfect example of that.
FITYBI truly is a heart warming story. I love the heartwarming nature of it mixed with the angst that Meagan has perfected.
NICO SKYES is completely DROOL WORTHY!!!! I mean who doesn’t love a damaged alpha male with a heart of gold! He is charismatic and is filled with so much depth that I instantly fell in love with him!
Demi Devonport is everything I didn’t know I wanted her to be. She doesn’t fit any specific stereotypically mold with I absolutely love. She is sassy but empathetic, complete Queen B material with being a total b!tch.
One thing I love about Meagan Brandys books is her ability to make you fall in love not only with the main characters but with the supporting characters as well. She has you rooting for the people on the sidelines without taking away taking away from the mcs’.
Meagan Brandy did it again! She wrote another AMAZING book for you to fall in love with! Demi and Nico are both amazing characters, they are both broken and faking for everyone else. Nico is a hot AF with the brooding act but he is finally starting to admit and take what he wants. He has such a broken past that you slowly read about that makes you just fall more and more in love with. The twist and turns that happen in this book keep you on your toes until the very end. I know everyone is patiently waiting for more Brayshaw or maybe not so patiently but honestly you can’t help but fall in love with Demi and Nico. Nico may be one of my favorite characters from Meagan Brandy. This is a book you do not want to miss!
Side note this book is not linked to the Brayshaw series in anyway.
I have received a free copy of this book for an honest review!
„Even when you had no fuckin’ clue… you were my baby.”
NO. FREAKING. WORDS. This is exactly the proof why Meagan took New Adult romance world like a hurricane and turned it upside down. Her writing style is flawless. Her stories are unputdownable. Her characters are perfectly imperfect and instantly likeable. FITYBI is absolutely amazing. I was captivated right from the first page and I couldn’t put this book down even for a second. Nico and Demi made me completely obsessed with their story!
This new world Brandy has created instantly sucked me in. I swooned, I laughed, I got pissed and got all hot and bothered. FITYBI has everything perfectly balanced- it has suspense, angst, steam and sweetness. Secrets that have been kept throughout the storyline has me at the edge of the seat, while at the same time I was immensely enjoying Demi and Nico’s relationship development. But Meagan Brandy, completely in her style, was throwing curveballs every now and then and those unexpected twists often left me stunned and speechless. And that made piecing the whole picture so much sweeter!
Nico has my heart. There are no words to describe my love for this guy. He’s stubborn, persistent and a little hot-headed. He’s also guarded and at first he seems aloof, but as we get to know him we see that it’s a mask he wears. With all walls down he’s a caring, sweet and resolute guy. Did I mention that he’s sexy AF and I wanted to climb him like a tree from the very beginning?
Demi is a loveable girl, always nice and dutiful, but she has also inner strenght that shows exactly when needed. That girl definitely knows which battles she needs to fight and when to let go. I loved that she was so down-to-earth but also fierce at the same time.
These two were so much more than just a fake relantionship. Their chemistry was electryfing and sexual tension was combustible. I was constantly biting my lip when they were together and every turn in their relationship left me gasping. I adore them separately, but there are no words to express my love for them as a couple!
Fake It ‘Til You Break It is perfect in every way- it has unique storyline, characters to die for, surprising and thrilling plot-twists. It’s delicious, intense and sexy as hell. Meagan Brandy has created another addicting and brilliant story that’s a MUST READ!
I adore Meagan Brandy- the Boys of Brayshaw is delicious and one of my favorite series, so I went into this with high expectations.
Overall, I enjoyed it, but I didn’t love it as much as Brayshaws or Fumbled Hearts.
The characters are cute, the chemistry is there, and the story is pretty straight forward. I really liked Demi- she’s strong and confident but not obnoxious, forgiving but not a doormat, and driven. I loved how she had real friends (so many of this new adult stories have girlfriends who are back stabbers or plotters or just shallow) and their connection was fabulous. There is some good smexy times (even though it was less hot to me than Brayshaw), and Nico and Demi do fit as a couple.
Nico took a while to grow on me- he’s alpha but in a conniving way (vs. it just being his caveman nature) and he’s so brooding and moody. This is just part of his character, and once we learn his motivations we understand his attitude a bit more, but he left me a bit lukewarm. And, the overarching conflict thing with Alex is just a bit odd as a main plotline.
Again, enjoyed it and worth the read, but not my favorite of her work.
Meagan Brandy “He’s exciting and unpredictable and temporarily mine.”
In Meagan Brandy’s YA enemies-to-lovers romance, Fake It ‘Til You Break It, you will laugh, gasp, and possibly throw your device with all the twists and sizzle!
Nico is the brooding, football star, who can have anyone he wants, and when he agrees to be in relationship with Demi, a sporty sweetheart who has her eyes set on someone else, well there comes a point when “real” becomes blurred. And I loved every second of Nico’s sexy, alpha-holeness!
“I don’t want your lies. I want your all.”
Overall, this rating is for the intriguing storyline and character development. This 98k standalone romance will have your attention from the get-go. I enjoyed this fake relationship pact of Nico and Demi, and found the story unique and entertaining. Ms. Brandy is quickly becoming one of my top authors, and I look forward to reading additional novels by the author.
I really enjoyed this sweet and entertaining “fake” relationship romance. It was so much more than I expected going in and worth every second.
Meagan Brandy is the queen of writing angsty, steamy, YA romances. I will forever read anything she writes!
Nico and Demi sucked me in and had me glued to my kindle until the very last word.
I loved megan brandy, this is the ultimate fake relationship to a tee, plus throw in a slow burn romance and sign me up. this was so awesome Nico and Demi were perfect for one another, never felt the enimies to lovers angle they felt more like friends to lovers. Nico was this guy who is having issues with family and Demi helps him see past it and helps him into a happier place. I love how sassy Demi is, Demi thinks that Nico hates her and its just not the case, Nico actually likes Demi watching there relationship build and smolder and than burst into flames was so amazing.
This is my first go with Meagan and I enjoyed her writing. This was a great story. I must say, though, Demi got on my nerves often. But other than that, great premise.
Nico and Demi sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g. At first, this was what I felt I might be reading. High School on steroids. Like I said, at first. It’s hard to describe how these seniors, these neighbors can’t seem to get their stuff together and at least be civil and then I remember my high school years and realize, none of us had our crap together then either. Except these guys are WAY more experienced than any of us ever thought to be and sometimes that’s why I have such a tough time liking the characters…because I could be their grandmother lol. In any case, I also love a good broken character and here we have Nico who IS broken although he hides everything so well that most would never know. Demi has her own issues with parents and again, that smile hides everything. Deciding to fake a relationship should have been easy, until it wasn’t and now one or both of them will break for very different reasons. Will that tree hold them? By the end of the story I was on the edge of my seat and feeling very angst ridden about where it would go.
This book was soooooo good!!!! I couldn’t put it down! It was angsty and sexy with a side of tears. I love the way Meagan Brandy slings a story. She’s such a good writer.
She can write some of thee best possessive alphaholes! This book had a great storyline and the main & side characters were perfect! I love watching them work through so many issues, and watching the secrets come tumbling out. Hot football boys and smart girls are the best! Great read!
Fake It ’til You Break It
@meaganbrandyauthor
I first discovered Meagan when I read the Brayshaw High series. I loved her writing so much, I had to have more! Of course, this one did not disappoint!
Demi & Nico’s story is a fake relationship, neighbor trope. It is full of all the high school angst & drama that sucks you in. In true Meagan fashion, there were plot twists I never saw coming. Demi and Nico’s relationship is full of passion and will leave you swooning. They are inexplicably drawn to each other when their family lives break them down. Their ability to read each other’s needs and give the other what they need in those moments is breathtaking. This makes their intimate scenes that much more intense.
Love this couple so much! I only wish Meagan would let us follow them through their college years!
Audio- loved the narrators!! Pretty sure Christian Fox is one of my new favs!
Nico has always like demi but kept his distance and it takes seeing her into Alex his copycat enemy to find away to male Demi his even if he has to fake a fake relationship to make it become real . Good book some lil twist to it.
Okay, so I have never read this author but it popped up on one of my bookbub’s daily emails and thought I would check it out. This was a high school romance but it felt more like a college romance but it was really good. I am in my early 30s and I still REALLY enjoyed this book even though the main characters were so young. I do wish the hot tub scene with Nico and Sandra was cut out completely—I think its unnecessary to the book and with the drama with Miranda—it was a bit too much. I wanted to roll my eyes at the typical manwhore type. HOWEVERRRRRRRR, do not let that scare you into not reading this book— Nico has a past and granted they are in high school so they are definitely all in the same circles SORT OF… but Nico was COMPLETELY devoted to Demi–he was SO in love with her that it honestly just wiped out what he did in the past before they became something to each other!!!!!
I really enjoyed this book and will definitely seek out more from this author!!
This is one of my favourite book that Megan Brady wrote it is phenomenal . I literally devoured this with In seven hours I could not put it out for the for the life of me . I love Demi and Nico The enemies to lovers that used to be best friends this is a slow burn and the sexual tension between the two of them is off the charts . Megan Brady you are Awesome writer I am looking forward to reading more of your books . I definitely recommend this book !!!!
Fantastic
What a rollercoaster ride that was !!!
Full of High school drama and angst I loved Nico and Demi.
Their road to romance is such a complicated one, they are back and forth with one another and a deal to be fake boyfriend and girlfriend unravels such a complex story of secrets, lies and a rivalry that goes back years.
Nico and Demi have a powerful chemistry even though Nico goes about it the wrong way his goal is to make Demi his…because she has been unbeknowst to her the only girl he has ever wanted.
Meagan Brandy can really tell a story, capturing the very essence of young love and all the Stress, anxiety and intense emotions that High school brings…with relationships, family and friends.
I was totally captivated and it gave me all feelings like I was back in school.
This is a great story and very original it gave me some Oh Wow moments and it kept me turning the pages to find out how this would all play out.
An Excellent read that I highly recommend.
5 brilliant Stars.
This book has it all. Romance, we they/won’t they get together and amazing friendships!!!!
Demi is a powerhouse. Amazing student, phenomenal dancer and someone who cares more for her friends than anything. She starts off her senior year paired with Nico who she thinks hates her. Little does she know, Nico has a huge crush on Demi. But Demi likes Alex, Nico’s rival. The book progresses with them deciding to fake a relationship to help her get Alex. But as time goes on she realizes she is not faking anything, she likes Nico or Neek as she calls him.
But twists and turns are thrown at them pulling them apart. This is an amazing will they/won’t they, that you are pushing for them to be together. The book is called, “Fake It TIL You Break It” for a reason!
An absolute must read! What are you wasnt ing for, go, go read it!
I listened to this book on Audible. I am obsessed with Nico Sykes. From the first point we met him in the book, I knew there was something about him that was special and nothing in the chapters that followed changed that for me. There is something about a man who knows what he wants and will do whatever it takes to get it (even tricking a girl into dating him) that really gets me going. I liked Demi, especially the relationship that she had with her three best friends, but Nico truly made the book for me. The emotions that were exposed at different points of the book showed his depth of character and kept me rooting for him from beginning to end.
