He stared into my eyes until the air buzzed.

He inhaled me like I was the finest Belgian chocolate,

Three months…
Two hearts…
One fake engagement…
An entertaining and enjoyable and lovely read! A story filled of heat, passion and love. A master story written by a master storyteller.
Loved every word of this novel. It may have been fake but it was absolutely real from beginning to end.
Full of friendship, love, fate, football, family, forgiveness and romance.
Perfect for readers of contemporary romances.
This was a book of two halves. The beginning raced along then it just seemed to fizzle out without much happening. I didn’t think the opening scene about the rescue was needed. If anything, it was too much of a coincidence. Couldn’t they just meet as neighbours? I know nothing about college football but there wasn’t too much detail to get bored with. The characters were relatable and I enjoyed the story overall. I just found it a bit predictable.
Another awesome story from Ilsa Madden-Mills. The string of fate has been weaved and no matter how far you are separated, it has a way of pulling you back together. What happens when a hot shot quarterback has a one track mind?…. to be a professional athlete. There’s no room for anything or anyone else…well, remember Fate’s little plan? Let’s just say she’s ready to roll the ball of string back up.
This was such an enjoyable book watching as the characters got themselves into and out of the scrapes caused by the arrangement they make. It made me chuckle more than once. The supporting cast was also great, I would have loved to hear more about Isabella and Ash…hopefully in the future?
I really loved this book! It was everything and more. I couldn’t put this book down and just read it in one day! You definitely won’t be disappointed if you pick this one up! A solid 5 star read for me.
Sunny hasn’t had an easy life and when she lays her eyes on Max, she just knows he’s trouble that she should stay away from. But when one encounter happens, Max decides that she is the perfect girl to smirk up his ‘bad’ reputation to win that award he is dying to get. Next thing she knows, Sunny is not only introduced as Max’s new girlfriend but somewhere down the line as his fiancée. Even though their relationship is just fake, both can’t seem to deny that instant attraction they have and their connection to each other is more than both can handle at times. But sometimes you just can’t deny fate and you let it take its course… Only in the end, both will have to decide what matters most…
Fake Fiancée is that one book that will have you, swooning all the way home!
There is something truly magical about a book. That wraps you up in its fabric. Cloaking you in its mystery and shielding you from the pain. The pain of the past. Stirs your soul and curls your emotions like a warm hug.
There is just that one spark! That will have you sailing, into a new atmosphere. Binding your mind body and soul. Which is a simple thing called fate or that kismet quality! Otherwise known as Max and Sunny’s story! To this new reality. A new journey of LOVE!!
A very cute, cliche story. However, it was a fantastic story. I enjoyed following along as they developed their relationship. Really enjoyed.
Max and Sunny… where do I even start. I absolutely loved this beautiful love story. Fate brings two damaged souls back together after 3 years apart. Something fake turns into something very, very real.
Full of great character development, witty dialogue and smoking hot chemistry this book will not disappoint. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a sports story or even just a sweet love story.
I’m not always a huge fan of fake girlfriends/boyfriends/fiancees in books…but this one worked for me on every level. Maybe it was because of how Sunny and Max met? Maybe it was because it didn’t feel fake? I’m not entirely sure why this worked for me, but it did.
I loved the “first” meeting between them, how she wasn’t intimidated by who he was and stood up to him, demanding answers about the girl that hit her car. And I loved that he wasn’t a jerk about it. I loved how even when Sunny was unsure and uncomfortable with the “fake” title, there was still a connection between them. And that she turned him down when he suggested adding benefits to their arrangement.
Honestly, there’s wasn’t really anything that I didn’t like about this book. I literally couldn’t put it down…not even when I was supposed to be doing homework (shhh! Don’t tell my professor!)
Overall, I definitely recommend this book!
Characters were just tiring
Loved this book such a good story. Written very well.
