This book is told in parts if you’re looking for a good stopping point. But please note that once you start, you’ll be able to finish in just a matter of hours.
Jonah Rye is ready to start his life’s next chapter. Faith feels an instant connection with someone she’s just met – is that even possible? This story is older man and younger woman but don’t worry because there’s not a huge gap between them. I didn’t get any indication that Faith was as young as stated – acted older than her years.
If you haven’t read many, or none, of the other books in this series you will meet Josie and Beau here. If you found that you like them, you may want to check out their book titled Built. I don’t usually let a cover sway me one way or another but there was something about this one that said that I had to take a chance.
Our author surprised me. As I read the beginning, I thought this was going to be another Mountain Man story. You know the ones – the ones that seem all about physical gratification. But she put in a twist that showed me that you just can’t assume they’re all the same. It also made for a pleasant read. And once that twist was revealed it made it seem more realistic.
Now if like me you are late to the game in reading this series, this book could be considered a standalone. This may be the end to the author’s Mountain Man’s Babies series but you’ll have plenty of time to catch up. You may also find that since you liked this book, it’s time to check out some of her other work. And if you read to the end, she introduces you to a book that came out last year.
I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
Faithful the next decadent book in Frankie Love’s Mountain Man’s Babies series is SWOONTASTIC! Sweet, seductive, steamy fun with lots of feels and a easy to LOVE plot that made for one romantic read.
I ADORE these books. Like I swoon just thinking about them. And Faithful could very well be the swooniest of the series. Sexy, sultry, sweet and downright beautiful, this book was irresistible and I barely could put it down!
Faithful gets a SWOONTASTIC FIVE SEDUCTIVE STARS!
I’m so going to miss Miracle Mountain
I’m overwhelmed by Jonah and Faith’s story. I cried tears of sadness and tears of happiness. The love in this story could be felt like it was a concrete object. This story has me feeling bittersweet. It’s like saying goodbye to a group of friends but I’ve enjoyed their journeys.
So, just to be clear- I’m obviously not an intended reader of this story, and maybe I’m mean to be reviewing it. But really, the grading system of many booksites are crazily inaccurate, fooling prospective readers into believing that this kind of book is nothing but pure gold. So I’m writing this review to counter all the extremely exaggerated positive reviews
It would of course be a whole other thing if Faithful was classified as a comedy. Then it would get a 3,5 grade from me. But as a romance I’d give it the lowest grade possible.
The story is set on a Mountain in the US, called Miracle Mountain by the inhabitants. On Miracle Mountain, women get pregnant with triplets (or more) practically by sneezing, men and women fall in desperate, consuming love simply by looking at each other, and all men are hung like large equines. At the least.
Gas station paperbacks with dark sheiks and blonde women with ripped bodices on the cover have nothing on Faithful. Faithful is the equivalent of an X-rated Disney story. There’s the beautiful maiden, the hunky and more experienced man, and of course flowery, long-winded declarations of love. If it wasn’t so funny it would be truly horrendous. But it’s amusing as heck, at least for a cynical reader like myself.
So, this is not a romance to me. I’d call it an X-rated Disney story. But because of the silliness it’s still not really meant for adult women. So. You have been warned.

Oh my word this story is heartbreakingly beautiful. Jonah and Faith meet and have an instant connection. A major event throws a monkey wrench in their plans. It takes a whole lot of love, prayer and Faith for them to get to their happily ever after. Jonah has to be my favorite alpha hero of all the hero’s on Miracle Mountain. I don’t want to spoil it for you so all I am going to say is that everyone should have a Jonah by their side. I’m sad to see this series come to a close. Here’s to hoping that Frankie Love decides to continue on….Faith has several siblings that are close to being ready to find love.
Oh, Jonah!
Is it weird that I feel like I have been waiting for his story since forever?
Well, maybe not quite that long, but.. woo! It was worth it!
The magic of the mountain has saved the best for last in the emotional heart heavy insta- all whirlwind of lust, love, tragedy, and baby daddy duty thrust upon the newcomer to the area Faith and returning from Alaska Jonah.
As always, Ms. Love’s words are beautifully written with that fantastical touch, and heart of hearts feel that transports me on a much need mountain getaway- this two-part story grabbed ahold of my heartstrings as well.
A cover to digital cover read, and the ending of the sexy, sweet and humorous baby making mountain living gang was bittersweet perfection!
I look forward to what she has in store for us next!
If you have not caught up on the Mountain Man’s Babies series, I highly suggest doing so!
This book was sweet and emotional. My heart was heavy for what was happening. Even knowing there would be a happily-ever-after, I still was worried. Faithful is book ten in The Mountain Man’s Babies series. And sadly, it is also the last. While I haven’t had the pleasure of reading them all, I have read several and enjoyed them.
I won’t go into much detail because I wouldn’t want to spoil anything for you. Jonah returns to Miracle Mountain from being in Alaska for the last year and a half. He feels it’s time to settle down. He wants what all his fellow mountain friends have. Love of a significant other, and family. Jonah is not expecting to find that so quickly but he does. And when that happens, he holds on tight and never lets go. Here is where I can’t tell you more. Not only is it emotional and quite sad, but what happens, no matter how awful, it only adds to the sweetest ending.
I have to say, as is usual for me with Frankie Love novels, I adored these characters. That said, because nothing in life is perfect, there were times I was frustrated and not a little angry at some aspects. Of course that is par for the course so I expected it. As I said earlier, my grief was non-existent by the end. I truly wish that men like Jonah existed. I think this world would be a better place. 😉
This is my honest and unbiased review. Thank you for taking the time to read it. 🙂
Faithful is book ten in The Mountain Man’s Babies series by Frankie Love. If I understood it correctly, this is the ending to this series! And wow, what an ending it was. I cried, yes I cried. Because this book has so many emotional moments. I admit that the last couple of books I read by this author for me weren’t what I hoped for or what I had gotten used to expecting. But this book, well, she’s back!!
Jonah Rye hadn’t had it easy growing up. Then he tried to find himself while spending the past eighteen months on a crab boat in Alaska. But now he wants to settle down, he wants a home, stability. So he goes to Miracle Mountain where several of his friends live with their families. His friend finds him a cabin on a beautiful lake and Jonah, for the first time ever, feels like he’s home.
“Today I took the path that led me to her.”
He’s been learning the trails around his home and on this particular day, he tried a new one. That’s when he saw her sitting on a rock by the water. She was so beautiful. Her name was Faith. They began to talk and both fell fast. Love at first sight. Two puzzle pieces that just fit. For one perfect afternoon, they both had everything, until it was all ripped away.
“It’s like every exchange we have is deeper than just words. Than just lines. It’s like we’re sharing pieces of ourselves that no one else will ever have.”
“This angel. This gift. Mine.”
Although Jonah hadn’t known Faith long, his love for her was deep and true. He knew that on this mountain, anything was possible. He never lost hope that a miracle would happen.
“Everything from before was a prologue. You are my opening line. The first real sentence. The place the real story begins.”
This was so beautiful. It is a testament to the truest love, that in only a moment, a life can be changed forever. Jonah was so strong and proved himself to be the best kind of man. What a beautiful little book. I had to force myself to stop highlighting every other sentence. This truly reminded me of why I love Frankie’s books.
“Love will always, always find a way.”
This a unique story filled with quick, dirty love that lasts a lifetime. The author creates a situation that is tragic, but it becomes exactly what they wanted. The characters are loving, kind, and family is the number one focus. I really enjoyed this story and the characters. The love of family and friends day was especially sweet.
Jonah and Faith meet and make plans. People don’t like the plans and something happens. Situations arise that cause heartache and sadness, but there is a bright spot in that sadness. In the end, it all works out and they get their very sweet happily ever after.
This is the tenth book in this series, and is Faith and Jonah’s story. This is a well written story which is an emotional roller coaster ride from beginning to end. This story is filled with suspense, drama, twists, heartbreak, tragic, and is a steamy and addictive read. I was totally intrigued and hooked throughout and look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I recommend for all readers.
*3.5 Stars**
Jonah has struggled, and for quite some time, but hearing of the change visiting Miracle Mountain has made in his friends’ lives, he figures, what does he have to lose?, and gives it a try. At the least, the time alone could help him become at peace and figure out what he wants to do with the rest of his life…he just never realized it would be more of a who than a what. Once he’s there, the feeling of home settles over him and he knows he made the right choice, all he needed was faith…
When Jonah met Faith, the two of them clicked, love at first sight, and the future was being planned…except he lost her just as quickly as he found her. Fate brought them together, but someone else is determined to keep them apart. Jonah and Faith have a fight on their hands, but when you’ve met the love of your life, you’ll do anything to ensure you get your HEA.
Will true love win out? Will Jonah and Faith get their forever?
One-click now and follow along as two people endure a journey filled with obstacles before achieving their dream. I enjoyed this short story. Yes, it was instalove, which I adore, but I also need to feel that it truly exists between the characters, and the author pulled that off here. Not only were you rooting for them, but you also felt their pain, and watching as love overcomes all is always a great read. – By Elizabeth
In this tenth book of the series Jonah Rye, twenty-six and an old soul at heart, is finally moving back to the mountain he loves and calls home, Miracle Mountain. Faith enters his life and changes it completely.
Super quick instant love stories are not usually my cup of tea however this one is so heartwarming, I really enjoyed it. The characters are friendly and supportive, especially Jonah-he is such a honey and so caring. The emotions in the story are varied and real and who doesn’t love a heartbreaking situation, wishing with all of your might for it to change for the better?
Faithful is a play on the heroine’s name but such an apt title too, it is a short story and very easy to read with it’s fast pace and engaging storyline. This story made me want to read more from this author, a good sign I believe.
Jonah has recently moved back to the area where he grew up. He wanted to be closer to his friends and thought it was time to think about settling down. Faith recently moved to the same mountain with her siblings when her Dad remarried. Jonah and Faith meet out by the lake on Jonah’s mountain. It is love at first sight. Little did they know that in a few short hours their lives would be turned completely upside down.
I have not read any previous books in the series and this reads fine as a standalone. I am sure that some of the characters are explained in depth in the earlier books but we are given enough details to know them a little bit. I am not typically a fan of instant love but this story has a bit of a twist to go with it and that helped me enjoy. I love that Jonah is such a dedicated man and proves his love through the difficult times. This is a short, easy read.
This is the ultimate of fast-paced instalove! Man, this crazy mountain keeps us on our toes!
Jonah deserved a happy ever after, and to belong, and to be loved. We have all been waiting for it. He falls for Faith, which is ironic because with all the events in this story, that is the main focus. Having faith, needing faith, lending faith when others’ are troubled and lacking. Beautiful story.
It’s love at first meeting for Jonah and Faith and a future together is what they both want despite the objections of her father. When a cruel twist of fate separates these soulmates, will Jonah’s faith be rewarded by the magic of Miracle Mountain?
Faithful has great characters and a sweet and steamy romantic love story – the perfect end to this wonderful series. I loved it. 4.5 stars
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance reader copy of this book.
Jonah is home from Alaska, looking to settle down. His is ready for the wife and babies that marriage will give him. He just needs to find her. When he does, he doesn’t let her go. As soon as he meets Faith and she talks about a whale, he knows. This is the woman. She is it for me! But all too soon that fairy tale/dream is shattered and Faith is taken away from him. Will she find her way back to Jonah and the life she agreed too??
Faith is new to Miracle Mountain, but she loves it. Then she meets Jonah and within a heartbeat, she knows this is the man she was made for. But it’s over before it starts. Her daddy is mad at her for jumping so soon. Her heart knows that Jonah is the man for her. That they belong together. Fate has another card to play and when she does it’s a dirty card that could tear Jonah and Faith apart.
This is a lunchtime quickie book. I really enjoyed it and how fast paced it was. There was no slowing this story down. I felt the heartache and the love between them. The characters are realistic and relatable. I will read other books in this series.
Miracle Mountain has always had the insta-love connections between it’s characters, and Jonah and Faith’s story follows in that path. Once again Frankie Love writes a story that her readers fall in love with. We have been waiting for Jonah’s story and we were not disappointed. Great characters, great storyline, fabulous connections – and the two epilogues were simply perfection.
