Mirror, Mirror, on the wall,
Who is the Fairest of them all?
In the sequel to UnEnchanted, Mina Grime discovers that all is not fair when it comes to the Fae and their tales, especially when they don’t all play by the rules. Barely surviving the Story’s first fairy tale quest, Mina still has hundreds to go before she can end the curse on her family. But a new player arises to challenge Mina … challenge Mina while new rules revamp the game she has just barely begun to understand.
All the while, people are mysteriously disappearing, including Jared, whom Mina must finally determine to be friend or foe. And with the loss of her greatest weapon, Mina must try to outwit a lethal hunter. Can Mina survive the most difficult quest yet while protecting those she loves from falling victim to one of the deadliest tales of all? Or will she become a pawn when she strikes a bargain with the Queen of Fae?

I liked this book so much! It’s the second in the series and just as page as the first. It’s full of adventure, humor, and mystery.
Sometimes we are our own worst enemy… Mina struggles with some turbulent emotions as the story manipulates her circumstances. All the feels! She may not be perfect, but I love Mina! Excellent book!!
** spoiler alert ** This was a good continuation of the story to see where Mina has taken to her newfound role and obligations. While I found Mina to not be as strong as I would like, she does build up her confidence and self-realization towards the end of the novel.
Great fantasy read.
Such a fun story!
I love Snow White so this story was perfect for me. I loved the twist this book had on the classic story I know and love. I also enjoyed that Jared was in this book more and the stuff we learned about him I won’t give anything away though. Each book in this series keeps getting better and better.
Loved this second book in a truly well-thought-out series. I love the classics and the twist in this series are so cool to read. I highly recommend this series.
I wasn’t expecting that ending with Brody…caught me way off guard!
This will always be my all time favorite! I miss the old covers tho.
This book is really good. A tad slower than the first book, but really develops the characters. Mina is struggling with accepting the Grimm curse and how to use the Grimoire. Jared is coming and going and Mina has a hard time knowing if she should trust him or not. Whose side is he on anyways? Get ready for Mina to take on the Snow White tale.
After Unenchanted, the stage was set for either an amazing series or a flop, and Chanda Hahn definitely created the former! I am constantly coming back to this entire series again and again!
I had to pick this book after reading Unenchanted!! I needed to know what other challenges there will be for Mina and if she overcomes them and arises to the challenges. Like the first book, this one is a page turner!! Definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat. I would definitely recommend this series to everyone I know.
In this second book of the series, Mina has many more issues to deal with. Jealousy comes into play and feeling unsure of what to do. I really like Jared and I’m anxious to see where things will go. She feels alone due to herself only being able to remember things. New antagonists and new adventures await! It’s a new wild ride for her!
I ran (clicked away) to get to this book. The first book sucked me in and I was doomed.
I will make this short with no spoilers.
IM IN LOVE WITH JARED.
No, wait. That is not the review. *cough* excuse me.
I’m in love with this series as of now. I can’t stop reading once I start, they draw me in that much. It’s so exciting and interesting I can’t stop reading until I finish.
If you finished book 1 and you liked it, KEEP READING IT GETS MUCH BETTER. And if you read book 1 and don’t know if you want to read book 2, Try it anyway.
I don’t think I can put into words my feelings for this series so far. I don’t hate the characters, tho sometimes I do think DONT DO IT. DONT BE STUPID!, I love the story and how different and exciting and changing it becomes, I love…everything (so far.)
This book is imaginative and keeps me hanging on every word. My favorite part of this book is that Wilhelmina shows courage and sass through this story despite the circumstances she faces. The writing is brilliant and easy to imagine yourself as this character. Must read!!
With Mina just finding out she is a Grimm and all the stuff going on. I am not sure if she will be able to help stand up to what is required of her. We find out more about what her family has done and the story behind the book. She is determent to ignore the fairy tales. At the end I am still on the ledge about her because she is wanting to pretend this is not happening to her. I love how this story is developing.
This book was amazing!!!! I love the plot and it’s an amazing page-turner all the way! I strongly recommend this book with it’s beautiful star, Mina.
Just great. Only gets better from here
