An excellent Christian story. Sterling and Daisy are a terrific couple. At first glance Daisy is a little to good to be true but on a second look, she definitely has some issues. She is very insecure and puts her thoughts on others about herself. Granted those thoughts have been confirmed much to often. This gets her into trouble.
I loved Sterling, he feels a lot of guilt over his brother and what he has done. He seemed more real.
There were several twists and turns I didn’t expect and a very fitting ending.
Hannah Fisher did an outstanding job narrating.
I recieved a free Audible copy of this story, at my request, in exchange for a honest review.
I enjoyed this audiobook but found the self doubt a bit over the top! The townsfolk being so abusive seemed a bit far fetched too, but there is hatred, even among so called Christians. I understand these two concerns were needed for the storyline, but, they just didn’t seem realistic enough to me.
I thought the narration was very good.
I think the best part is that Kathleen is now writing Christian romance and I hope she continues! I have read a few of her books years ago and I much prefer this genre!!
Great story of triumph. Very inspirational . The characters pull you in and take you with them.
It was so goooood! Beautiful story with lessons about judging. I loved Daisy and Sterling. Sorry that it is the end to a great series. I think Rufus was sent to Daisy by God to help her. Love ALL your books Kathleen Ball. Thank you.
There is so much I want to say about this book, but it really applies to all of Kathleen Ball’s stories. This one especially touched me. I think we have all felt not good enough at times in our lives although we are all the same and loved in God’s eyes.
This is the journey of Daisy Weathers, a very compassionate person who’s only fault is that she saved people during the small pox epidemic but survived herself. She ended up with scars on her fax and everyone shunned he and blamed her for others dying. With the narration of Hannah Fisher and words of this author I wanted to reach out to her so much and just yell at those people! Yes, I know, but it is an example of how much emotion plays into these books.
Daisy has a hard road to find happiness, but she is led to the one meant for her, but it takes time and deep love. Simply amazing and I am praying myself this is not the last of the Mail Order Brides of Spring Water. I want to live there myself! I listened to this in audible.
This is Sterling and Daisy’s story and is a sweet story or overcoming tragedy and misfortune. Once you start reading you will not want to put the book down until finished. I really enjoyed this story and highly recommend it.
Not bad really but seemed carelessly written and not well thought out; didn’t flow well. I’ve come to expect better from this author.
