Fae princess, Mira, has known for years she’d find her mate and take the throne. Yet at nearly a hundred years old, she suspects someone has tampered with her magic. When the Norns arrive at the Summer Court, her suspicions are confirmed. Mira knows if she’s ever to regain control of her magic, she needs her mate to break the curse. Yet the two rival ruling queens have different plans.Captured … plans.
Captured and tortured for his people’s crimes against the fae royals, Cadoc wants nothing to do with the faerie who shot him. Mira might be beautiful with a sassy mouth and magic in spades, but the price of having her is too high. War and death. Yet his wolf is determined to claim her his mate. When he learns she’s as much a victim as he is and his people betrayed him, Cadoc is determined to help her take back the throne and save both their kingdoms.

Faerie’s Magic has a lot of potential to be a great novel, not just another paranormal romance. The overarching plot is actually well done, and the worlds of the fae and the wolf shifters are pleasantly fleshed out and immersive. I also liked the magic system and I’m fascinated by the “inner wolf” that the shifters have. Is it just an inner voice like a conscience, or do shifters have dual personalities that shift beings when they switch between wolf and humanoid form?
If you enjoy a strong willed, hot tempered pair of love interests that have passionate, explicit sex, then you’ll enjoy this book. However, there were too many typos, awkward phrasings and confusing sentence structures for me to truly enjoy the story. I don’t mind a little bit of profanity, but Feyden’s writing was peppered with it. I also require more out of my romance stories than just fixations on “finding my mate”, which was the first half of the book, and “claiming my mate”, which was the second half of the book.
I enjoyed this book by Jessica Feyden. I enjoyed going on the journey, watching Mira and Cadoc find each other and fall in love. This novel by Jessica Feyden had adventure and excitement. The journey to finding each other had many twists and turns but I loved it. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys paranormal romances. I look forward to reading more Jessica Feyden.
Faerie’s Magic is the second book in the Seasons of the Fae series.
The cover is magic all by itself! It puts a spell on you and you can’t resist getting the book. I don’t want to give the story away so I will simply say this – Faerie’s Magic is a wonderfully spun web of paranormal adventure, danger, magic, drama, and of course, romance. The world building and detail of the characters makes the story come to life.
I’m looking forward to reading the next book!
I absolutely love to read about fae and shifters. When I read this book, Mira and Cadoc had this energy that I just wanted to keep reading. Cadoc, knowing what his wolf is telling him. Wondering if they will be able to save their kingdoms and be together as true mates.
This book has romance, shifters, fae, drama, steamy true love, and of course an exciting adventure that is just waiting for you to dive in.
This is a great young adults books about Fae. Jessica has but her owm twist on Fae about mates. What if your mate is your sworn enemy. Pain, betrayal and a past unknown. Jessica does really well in writing this fantasy
A tale of a Fairie Princess named Mira and Cadoc a shifter who happens to be the Wolf King. A wonderfully written story full of action, betrayal, loyalty, and love. It took me a few pages to really get into the book but once I got reading I had a hard time putting it down. There are some great characters in this story that I really got interested in finding out what would happen to them. I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series.
Faerie’s Magic (Seasons of the Fae Book 2) by Jessica Feyden
3 stars
Mira is a Fae princess and Cadoc is a wolf shifter. They are fated mates but have quite a few bumps in the road to overcome to truly have a happy ending. They Fae and the Shifters are sworn enemies which makes things harder. I love paranormal romances but this book felt rushed. It’s like the author wanted too many things to happen in one book. There wasn’t a nice flow to the story. One minute they love each other, the next paragraph they are arguing and trying to kill each other. I continually had to stop and reread sentences to figure out what happened. There was no build up to get to know the main characters therefore I felt no connection to them. My favourite character was Cashiel who happened to be a secondary character and wasn’t in the story enough as far as I was concerned. The premise of the story is good and must have been excellent in the mind of the author. There was just trouble putting pen to paper.
Faerie’s Magic (Seasons of the Fae book 2) by Jessica Feyden, had a great story line. I loved the story. All kinds of magical creatures in this one with some unexpected powers. Strong characters and delightful world building. I did get a little bogged down with the family trees. There was quite a bit of repetitious dialogue which became somewhat distracting but all in all a good read. Reader be warned there are adult situations that are quite graphic, so this is not a book for the young.
I really liked this romantic fae fantasy story. The story is a fast pace simple love story. The pilot line is engaging. The characters are fully developed and well-liked. This story is about Mira and Cadoc. Like all romances. Mira and Cadoc had some hurdles in their relationship. Mira is a fae princess and Cadoc is a wolf shifter. Cadoc did not see himself with a Fae but his wolf-side was drawn to Mira. Mira’s magic has been messed with and she knows if she is to regain it she will have to marry to take the throne. Will Cadoc be her mate? Can Mira overcome her troubles with her magic? I highly recommend this story to find out these answers and to see if Cadoc and Mira become an item.
This was a great fantasy romance between a Faerie and a wolf shifer. Its a gripping story that keeps you hooked. The authors writing is so good at building the worlds and characters that you feel like you are part of it.
Mira is the Summer Fae princess. As her time to ascend comes closer she needs to find her fated mate. However, her mother is liking the power of being Queen and doesn’t want to give that up any time soon. Knowing she hasn’t found her fated mate she has Mira’s magic bound.
Cadoc is the Wolf King. He goes searching for his fated mate and is surprised when it turns out she is Fae.
Can their love survive the fact that they are so different and sworn enemy’s? How far will the people they should be able to trust work against them to stop their love from growing? Can Cadoc and Mira work together to save both of their people.
This book was an easy read that I finished in a day. Despite this, Jessica Feyden’s writing style allowed me to become invested in the characters. This book was an emotional read that continued to surprise me. I loved the world-building and would definitely recommend this book.
I love a good fantasy book and Feyden delivered with a great concept in these pages. It opens quickly and immediately leaves the reader guessing as to what is really going on with the female lead and how she might be connected to shifter, if at all. I really enjoyed this take on faeries and shifters. It is a very vivid world and one I will gladly visit again.
I thought this book was a good one! It was my first book by this author and I think it was a great place to start because I want to read more. This was a fast paced fantasy fae story about Mira and Cadoc. To be together they have alot to overcome and they have to work together to get out on top. They were awesome main characters and they really kept the story going for me. I am looking forward to reading more by this author and i would recommend this to anyone that likes a good fantasy story!
Happy ready!

This is the first book that I have read by this author and I have to say from the moment I saw it I absolutely knew I had to read it. The cover is so eye catching and enticing I just couldn’t wait to read the story hidden behind it.
For me this story was made entirely by the two main characters. They had so much stacked against them and yet will still so determined to fight. They were strong and interesting which made them great to read about. I enjoyed the book overall and the great story the author produced. A very good read and I can’t wait to explore more of her work.
Yes! I love a great fantasy read that I can dive into and immerse myself into the world that is created and this book was no different at all! It’s fast-paced, has action, danger, romance and of course magic. This book was easy to read and flowed effortlessly from chapter to chapter. The storyline that this author has created is epic from the very beginning and kept hooked until the end! What made this book that much better was the brilliant characters that this author created, I connected with them instantly and couldn’t wait to follow along with their journey. With this being my first read from this author I thought it would take a whole to get into the swing of things, but it was like I had been reading this authors book for so long I was instantly captivated and didn’t want it to end! Faerie’s Magic (Seasons of the Fae book 2) by Jessica Feyden was an interesting read! There was so much going on that it paced the book along really well. I enjoyed the action and adventure. There was a lot of drama and betrayal. I look forward to finding out what happens next in the series!
First, I must start with the cover of this novel, Faerie’s Magic by Jessica Feyden. This cover is gorgeous and really draws in the reader before they even read a word of anything. I loved it and knew I needed to read this to find out the adventure that gorgeous Faerie goes on within the novel. It was a tad slow just at first with the way it set up the story and before it really took off, but I am glad I stuck it out. This has a lot of a new fav of mine, fae! This layers in a smexy wolf shifter and plenty of magic and adventure to keep the reader guessing how things will turn out. I loved the way the world just glowed to live before my eyes as I read, the world building was immensely strong and I felt transformed to this magical place I didn’t want to leave. If you love romance, fairies and a bit of magic and shifting this is the series for you. I am anxious to get my hands on the next book in the Seasons of the Fae series!

Faerie’s Magic: a fae shifter romance (Seasons of the Fae Book 2) by Jessica Feyden is a paranormal fantasy romance. It took me a little while to settle into the story, but it soon drew me in. Love was not what any one thought would happen in the most unlikely of circumstances and despite the difference between them. There is a lot of pain, betrayal and hurt in this good story, but it is all worth it in the end. A Fae princess, a wolf shifter and magic and action abound in this wonderful tale. Jessica’s writing and world building, makes it easy to venture on this journey.
A really good book that I enjoyed reading.
It has wonderful characters. Couldn’t put it down.
Loved reading…
