I always thought if I had magical powers, life would be cake.
Wrong.
My fated mate is the enemy of my kind, I have days to figure out how to keep him from literally going up in smoke, and at any moment one of my magic’s surges will shock my heart and strike me down. If I don’t learn how to control my mage abilities pronto, I’m dead. I thought that portalling to hang with other mages would solve … that portalling to hang with other mages would solve things, and I’d find some rad crone-like chick to help me train all epic style. But it seems I’ve landed myself, my best friend, and my doomed fated mate in a hidden kingdom where my kind are enslaved for eternity. Not awesome.
This is not the training I was hoping for. And with every day we’re away from the cursed castle, Lucus and his brothers weaken further. If I don’t get us the heck out of this super creepy British fae kingdom, all of us—the 16th century guys and us modern gals—are history.

A little steamy romance with lots of magic and spells.
Fae World was an amazing sequel to Fae Curse. We get to meet some Unseelie Fae and dark unicorns (how could you ever possibly go wrong with unicorns). Coren, the main character develops so well and is a very relatable character. Book 3 promises to be just as amazing as the first 2.
Book two is fantastic. We get to see so much from Coren and meet some new characters. It is action packed from the beginning to the end. It is gripping and suspenseful in all of its glory. It is well written and and I love how the characters grow in this story. No matter if it is in trust or in amongst themselves. The descriptions are vivid throughout the story that add to the elements of helping the reader feel what is going on. The chemistry between Coren and Lucas is strong and easily felt as we see these two growing. It is a wonderful series that I can’t wait to read the next book in it. A definite must read!!!!!!
This book was great. It was steamy, and it was adventurous. It took me on an epic journey!
The second book takes us into the Fae world where our friends have to battle it out against the evil queen and those under her power. The story moves quickly with plenty of action scenes. The relationship between Coren and Lucus strengthens. Coren and her friend, Hekla, really get to shine. Kaippa also has his moments, but he’s still a bit of a mystery and doesn’t feature enough. Lucus’ brothers hardly play a role and I almost feel like they are just taking up space. I would like to see Hekla’s love life develop. I’m rooting for one of the characters, but there are no sparks materializing in the second book. We also get to meet a few new characters. I think my favorite is the dark unicorn. He is a great addition to the story! Book 2 leaves you with a more satisfying ending, but there’s still more to come!
I received an ARC. This is my honest and voluntary review.
A great followup to book 1. In this one we find out where Corwin ended up at and what it could cost her. Many scenes made me laugh out loud even when the gang was in extreme danger. New characters to like and hate are introduced that make the story fun. I loved the scenes and felt like I could picture what was going on and Helka was a blast. I just really liked the story and the setup to what might come. I cannot wait to see what happens next especially due to what was revealed this time.
coren saved lucas and hekla and everyone at the end of the first book and brought them to safety or so they thought but they found themselves in unseelie fae territory seeking out mages to help coren with her power with the unseelie fae doing many bad things to the mages that were there this is roller coaster of a ride which i devoured my way through from start to finish and did not let up one bit there was many things that we learned but nods coren and lucas grew more closer in this book and hekla exposure to the supernatural continues and she proves to be true ally for coren and the others i loved this book and cant wait to see how it all comes to head with coren finally learning just who she is and who she meant to be keep up the fantastic work eva a hunt you rock no matter the pen name or genre!!!
Magically twisted and tantalizing! I was spellbound from the first page. I really loved the new twists and turns the story took I can’t wait for more!
This book was SO AMAZING!!! I had a wicked migraine as I read, took some medicine for it and as I came out of the migraine/drug fog I was thinking about the AMAZING MOVIE I’d watched before going to sleep. I realized it wasn’t a movie but a BOOK!!!! It is so incredibly detailed, the characters are so well thought out and realistic that I was completely immersed in it and every single thing about the book. It’s an incredible story too!!! Bakery owner sees a mysterious CASTLE on a mountain in the FOG that NO ONE ELSE can see?!!!? and even SHE didn’t see it when she drove by that morning!!! How is THAT for an opening??? I was speed reading from that point b/c it was so fast paced and had me on the edge of my seat. My Kindle is STILL SMOKIN’ from me turning those electronic pages so fast!!! I could feel myself in the story it was so realistic. I was riding the — jousting. OH and WHAT I was riding!!! was so awesome!!! I’ve never even dreamed of one of those!!! You’ll have to read it to find out. OOOH and then I thought one guy was the bad guy and then it was someone else and OH MY what he did!!! and book 3 is ALREADY set up to be JUST AS or MORE amazing.. and luckily it comes out REALLY SOON but NOT soon enough of course!!! Do they ever.?? OH YEAH!!!! the SWOON WORTHY ROMANCE and steamy romance!!! This book is packed FULL of romance, terror, back stabbing good guys turned bad and vice versa. LOVED IT!!
“Time to level up bitches.”
This picks up right where the first book left off. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book but this one is over the top! The story just really sucks you in. The descriptions are so funny! I just love these characters. They’re a hoot. The Fae world (where they travel to) is amazing. Two words. Dark Unicorns
I love Coren and Heklas friendship! Its very realistic and relatable. They’re great gal pals. And Coren is a tough cookie.
I also loved how this one really built on them being fated mates and their relationship growing and deepening.

I am SO excited for book 3, Fae Spell
The book I didn’t know I was missing! Hunt delivers another knock-out, this time in fae territory. The world-building is detailed with dark touches and unique spins on familiar fantasy elements giving it a refreshing and original feel. While I fell in love with several characters during book one, they really stole my heart and shined in this one! Hekla became a quick favorite and her blunt, non sugar-coated ways were very relatable and kept me laughing. Coren and Lucas’s chemistry and tension was through the roof and their dynamics really develop throughout this story. All the subtleties and little moments left me swooning and really pulled at my heartstrings. I loved the storyline and challenges they faced and all the action kept me glued to the pages. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend this series for readers that love fantasy romance, fae, sassy characters and some steaminess. If you’ve ever wondered what it’d be like if a fantasy world landed in your lap along with a sexy (and supportive) fae mate, then this is for you!
Coren the young woman who became the fated mate of Lucus the fae lord, cursed to abide locked up in a castle, which only she could see, had always considered herself to be just a baker and totally normal. However, she now discovers that she is a mage but unable to control her powers, she gets the good idea to try and find some other mages to help her learn how to do so, before she ended up killing her mate and her friends. She portals herself, Lucus and his brothers, Kaippa the vampire, also cursed to live eternally in the castle, and Helga her best friend but they end up in England. Of all places in the dark fae unseelie court, where mages are considered enemies and killed by Arleigh, the evil queen. They do get to meet two other mages who are held captive by the queen, who uses the Yew Bow to build her boundary to keep her people and her court hidden from everyone, but the binder and Nora are in bad shape and the binder’s son, Oliver is held hostage by the queen. Can Coren portal them all back out of the court before they are all killed? Will her magic be strong enough to break the boundary of the yew bow or will she fail her friends and mate? This exciting story is full of surprises, and twists and turns to keep the reader involved till the end of the book and still wanting to read further as the plot continues to thicken. So much is expected from Coren but with her mate by her side, and a bond that strengthens as they are further involved with one another, she has hopes to both break the curse and to defeat anyone who stands against them. I really enjoyed the ambience of the unseelie court and seeing Coren come into her magical powers and of course the budding romance between Coren and Lucus.
Well I loved the first book but this second book is every bit as good if not better! Totally hooked on the storyline I just adore Caren and Lucas and their growing relationship! Held captive by the dark fae, there’s mystery, intrigue, magic, fighting , new characters and omg there are dark unicorns yay! Filled with twists and turns this is an exciting read and that ending!! OMG I need the next book like now please!
I recieved an ARC to read and leave an honest review as part of the ARC team. Fae World picks up right where Fae Curse left off. Coren, our resident no BS heroine and Lucas, the deliciously wicked Fae Lord and friends kept me on the edge of my seat from the first sentence until the last word. I can’t wait to see what happens next! I highly recommend Fae World!
Fae World was fast paced, exciting and full of magic and I loved it!
I don’t want to give to much away and ruin the surprises buuuut this book has: lots of magic, trials, dark unicorns, a prison rescue, an exciting escape AND romance. And that’s not even half of it! Did I mention this book is exciting? There’s never a dull moment and the story flows wonderfully.
The lovely main character, Coren, is becoming one of my favorite characters! She is so funny and snarky and sweet and bad a$$! I love her growth throughout this book and I can’t wait for her to realize just how powerful and amazing she is.
I’m excited for book 3! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for these characters next!
“Ah. Nora , you are treated as lesser by thine fae b!tch upon thou weird vine throne. What sayest thou about this foul abode?” -Coren.
While using a portal to seek out an experienced mage, Coren, Lucas, Kekla, Aurello, Boccio and their resident vampire, Kaippa all end up in a very strange place. Geographically, they are in northern England. In truth, they find themselves in an unseely fae court. An evil queen reigns supreme, things are not what they seem and you can trust no one.
Coren is on a mission to find a mage that can teach her to control her powers before it kills her. The court has two mages that may be able to help, if the queen will allow it.
Who will servive this twisted place? Let the games begin!
Wow! What a powerful book! The storyline is fast-paced, never giving our heroes more than a minute to catch their breath. It is fill with magic and mayhem, danger, intrigue and even a little remance. The characters are wonderfully done–well-developed and engaging. I can’t wait to see what trouble is stirring up for book three in the Yew Queen series!
