The mages abandoned me in this brutal war.
They just made the biggest mistake of their lives.
As a rogue princess and ex-chief enforcer, I know all their magic tricks. And now that I’m mated not just to a wolf shifter, but his bear shifter best friend, I’ve got two good reasons to fight for the opposite side.
But the Mage Council is used to winning, and they’ll stop at nothing to ensure we … used to winning, and they’ll stop at nothing to ensure we lose. The more I try to help the shifters, the worse their lives seem to get. And now that things have reached the breaking point, I find myself facing a problem I never expected.
Someone from my past is out for revenge, and they’ll stop at nothing to get it.
But I’ll stop at nothing either. So let the games begin.

I just loved this second book in this duo! It’s fast paced with a great storyline that will just grab you hook line and sinker! The characters are fab with awesome chemistry and I found myself laughing out loud on occasion much to my hubby’s amusement! Loved the way that it ended even though it is open to a spin off maybe in the future??
This books continues exactly where book 1 ended. With Aubrey, Drake, Easton an Bodie fighting against the Fae.
While they struggle to find a way to defeat the Fae, Aubrey and the guys get closer.
Aubrey is still a kick-ass female who can look after herself but with her mates she is stronger.
This book is full of action, fights, hot scenes and a few tears.
The ending was clever and I enjoyed the epilogue.
This second part was as much wonderful as first one. So much action and fight. So much steamy actions as well, those was crazy. And the epilogue scene is completely insane. I loved it so much. All the twists and secrets that did come into light kept me reading it past sleeping time (way past it, till last page). It was so very well build story, with great background and the world so vivid and interesting. Characters, even side characters, are very well designed. I loved Aubry even more than before. She go by her own convictions, by her heart and is ready to sacrifice herself to save others. I loved to see how her attachment to Bodie and Easton did build up, how they did open to one another. And Drake, well.. It was time. All of them, however so different, did just create something unique together. I simply loved this story. I will miss them, oh so much,
