It’s their first case. Sid & Sin are tasked to find the missing kids. Then they hear that this has happened before. To one of their family. 140 years ago. Kids with a fae bloodline are being taken, and one may be Sin’s future son. How is a guy supposed to plan his future with the perfect woman when her son is missing? The twins are racing the clock to keep the past from imploding the present … keep the past from imploding the present in this tale of old hatreds, jealousy, power, love, and the strength of family.
This is the second book in the Sid & Sin Series, a five-star, fast-paced ride from the author that reviewers say “…makes you believe in magic”.

I really enjoyed reading this book. We get to learn more about some of the history of Sid and Sin’s family, learn a few secrets and have a little bit of a mystery.
The characters are incredibly interesting and the story will draw you in and before you know it, you have read the entire story. I can’t wait to see what happens with the all the changes that happen and to see how it’s going to impact our favorite twins.
What a story?! Hooks you in quickly and keeps you on edge wondering what’s going to happen next. Having not read the first of this series yet but getting to read this as an ARC I didn’t feel as if I missed too much of Sid and Sin’s character development as little details from book one were sprinkled throughout to allow this to still be read by itself. Flowed very well and plotline gets resolved with happy ending and room for more intriguing continuation in the Sid and Sin storyline. I enjoyed this very much and plan on going back to read the first of this series and T.K.s other books. Look forward to reading more!
Great characters? Check. Great storyline? Double check. Well written, leaves you wanting more, more, more? Knocked that one out of the park! Seriously, it’s a great read, and you will surely be anxious for the next installment
I picked this book up new to Sid and Sin… even starting on book 2 and having a bumpy beginning getting to know them quickly, I LOVED IT! A laid back book that isn’t super magic. It has magic and mundane all together creating the perfect blend on a magically realistic scale. Plenty of turns that kept my attention. I couldn’t put this book down and I can’t wait for more!!
I really enjoyed reading more Syd and Sin! I love the way they are with each other, and how they handle the bigotry that they deal with. Their first real case is the type of case every cop hates, missing kids. Will the twins and their team be able to find and save all of the missing kids before it is too late? Read the book to find out, you won’t regret it. I promise!
Sid and Sin are back for another round in this book 2 of T.K. Eldridge’s new series. The twins work their first official case for the Supernatural Police. Unusual in crime fiction, the case is kidnapping, not murder, an interesting choice.
As in the earlier book, the writing is top-notch and the world building is excellent. The characters feel real, and Eldridge has put some serious thought into how their supernatural elements work in and with the real world. This series is building to something, and this book pushes in all the right directions.
Readers of supernatural fiction, or urban fantasy, or urban supernatural romance type novels have come to expect a certain level of steaminess in their books. Book 1 didn’t have an opportunity for that – this book delivers the goods. Steamy, but not smutty, and not a distraction from the plot.
Essentially, then, this book has got a little bit of all of what readers want. Pick it up; you won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait for book 3!
Amazing!
Magic, mystery and history.
Some “wait, what?” moments that took me by surprise and gave the story that extra flair.
I’m hooked on Sid and Sin!
I absolutely loved it. The relationship between Sid and Sin is great and the characters are so well written! I’m definitely looking forward to reading more about them and all the wonderful characters in their story!
This book is an absolutely must read ! T.K. Eldridge is a master with the written word. Her well-developed cast of characters, detailed settings, and action packed plot had me turning page after page until I had devoured the novel in a single sitting and was begging for more. The world she has built is so amazing it was hard not to feel like I was there with Sin and Sid trying to solve the mystery with them. I cannot wait to see where we go from here with these amazing characters.
I just finished this book. The advance copy. I’m writing my reviews as I write this. This book blew past my expectations. Then it turned around, kicked my feeble expectations into the mud. It tied up my expectations and left them in the woods as punishment for their faithlessness and doubt..
I really liked Sid and Sin after the first book in the series. Now that the second is out and I know them more, I love them. The character development is evident, the flaws, realistic. There’s no “god-mode” in these books. There’s magic, murder, mystery and love, but it’s, dare I say, realistic? It makes sense. The story mixes magical issues with mundane, making it believable. And it throws just a bit of fairy folklore in to tease those of us like myself that thrive on that stuff. You need to read this.
Really enjoyable read, looking forward to the next in the series.
