What do sexy fae lords, a vampire assassin, and a mysterious castle have in common?Yours truly.Yeah no, I did not plan this. When my bestie and I opened a fabulous bakery, I planned to live a long life shoving pumpkin muffins into my face hole and working them off during my self-defense class. But when a castle full of ridiculously gorgeous immortals showed up on the ley line running through my … up on the ley line running through my small town outside Nashville, my life changed.
A lot. Like a lot, a lot.
Because of an ancient curse, the immortals can’t leave the castle without turning to ash. But when the most powerful fae lord uses his seductive power to lure me close, to psychically feed on my aura, he successfully steps out of the castle for the first time.
Now the fae want all of my supposedly special blood to break the curse. Until I can somehow shove the immortals back into whatever magical hole they crawled out of, my life is forfeit.
I have a plan. But said plan didn’t account for the insane feelings I’m starting to have for the alpha of the group…
FAE CURSE is the steamy first book in the Yew Queen Trilogy, and it’s perfect for KF Breene, Laura Thalassa, Annette Marie, Linsey Hall, and CN Crawford fans!

Eve Hunt weaves an exciting tale full of magic, fae, vampires, shifters and a witch in this first book in a new series entitled Yew Queen. Coren and her friend Hekla run a very good bakery with scrumptious to die for delicacies, and they used to live a normal kind of life until Coren saw the Italianesque Castle on the hill in the centre of town and was approached by a hunk of a man who was steaming hot. Lucus however, had green eyes, pointed ears, vine leaves on his eyelashes and horns so Coren automatically assumed all of this was part of a film set. But it turned out that her assumption was totally incorrect and that apart from Lucus there were his brothers, Baccio and Aurelio and a vampire called Kaippa who were under a curse which kept them imprisoned in their castle and able to surface from deep slumber once every hundred years to feed. They needed someone to break their curse before they all died and it seems they picked on Coren, the golden aura from her blood having called her to them, hoping she could save them. Coren felt she was living a nightmare out of which she could not escape. Can she truly free these monsters, as she called them and unleash them on her world? And could she do this without getting herself killed in the process? Wow I just loved this original tale of mystery and fae powers and I also love the fact that Lucus became so protective of Coren and am now dying to read the next book having stopped at such a precarious stage in the tale.
An enemies to lovers fae romance
A magical story full of creatures born from nightmares and dreams but even monsters can feel loss and grief and seek love and redemption
Fantastically thrilling! An absolute fun fantasy tale full of magic, suspense, snark and a dash of romance. I really enjoyed the story and all the characters. I can’t wait to see where the story goes from here!
I really enjoyed Fae Curse. It was a quick, fun read and it has a little bit of everything. Magic, romance and mystery. Oh my! I loved the main character Coren. Gotta love that snarky attitude. And Lucas…sigh. There are so many book boyfriends in this book. If you’re needing a new one look no further.
This book is a great start to a new series. It kept me interested throughout and left me wanting more! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Coren next!
Miss Hunt did a wonderful job with Fae Curse! I devoured it. It is beautifully written with rich details and laugh out loud moments. It’s a quick read that really pulls you in wanting more. It does leave you on a bit of a cliffhanger leading into book 2. Will definitely be continuing the series!!
I love the feisty heroine! She has a lot of snark, which is something I love in my heroines. Towards Lucas I’m a bit indifferent. Coren describes him as hot a lot, but I’m not really feeling it. I also didn’t really get a visual on the other characters. I know they were all described, but their looks weren’t really memorable. I do love the world that is being built here and I can’t wait to continue the story! And best of all, although the book does leave you with a mystery, the story is mostly complete, and the main conflict for the book is resolved.
