What a beautiful ending to this series!!! Sarah wrapped up the story, and tied all loose ends. Adventure, mystery, love, twists, turns, heartache, judgment…all the elements needed for a well developed story which unfolds over 5 books. Sarah quickly became a new favorite author for me.
Finally, managed to get to the end of this wonderful story. As with the rest of the series , it was an exciting journey with lots of twists and turns. I will certainly miss the characters. It is refreshing to experience a series, be it fantasy or any other genre, that leaves a smile on your face and a lightness in your heart.
I feel better for having shared this journey and I hope others do too.
Thanks Sarah.
A thrilling and riveting conclusion to a superb fantasy series! The journey that Allie has taken and the personal growth she has experienced has all brought her to the gripping fruition of the prophecy. I really loved Allie and oddly enough, Scouvrel. The realization of herself and what she truly wants was amazing. Sarah K. L. Wilson is a masterful storyteller! I LOVED EVERY WORD!
Allie and Scouvrel dance a macabre dance with the fate of the mortal and Fae worlds hanging in the balance. Like Book 4, this is a non-stop busy story. Definitely not a solo story. But, I feel that if you enjoyed Book 4, then you will enjoy this one as well.
It’s officially release day for this fabulous book, so I’m actually writing my review. Dang this book was good. I’ve said before, and will say again, if you liked the idea of The Cruel Prince but found it a bit dry, this is a great alternative. As always, there is cunning treachery, sacrifice, and hard choices. All the beauty and terror of the Fae packed into action and witty retorts.
This was a really beautiful ending to the series. It actually leaves some questions hanging out that, in a good way, a way that says “I’ll never get enough of this story and these characters”, and yet the story is tied off.
There are so many twists and turns, and more than once I feared for the lives of my favorite characters and wondered how much I could trust our beloved author. She did not disappoint. All the threads came together in the end, even as I thought I had pieced it together, she came back and surprised me again.
I love this series. It’s so fabulous, I will love Scouvrel for ever and always. That delightful, witty, manipulative male. He’s so scrumptious, (something I’m certain he would agree with). You absolutely need this book and this series. Get it, read it, love it.
Utterly fantastic and thrilling conclusion to a phenomenal series!
WOW! This was one intense, suspenseful, twisted conclusion to what has been an epic fantasy series! Filled to the brim with action, suspense, trickery, magic and a whole lot of murder and mayhem that will keep you on the edge of your seat captivated and highly entertained until the very end.
Allie is finally the kickass hunter that she is meant to be. She knows what she wants, who to fight for and who she loves but it takes a lot of twists and deception for her to get there. Scouvrel is still the trickster that Allie fell in love with and together they make a formidable pair. Allie and Scouvrel’s story is gut wrenching at times but also filled with passion and laughter. These two really are a remarkable pair together!
“If there was one thing I’d learned in life, it was that no one was coming to save you. You either figured things out yourself or you died, and that was that.”
“You should think about whether you can survive it…Sometimes you can love things that are wrong. If you’re wise, you’ll find a way to walk away from them. Otherwise, they’ll kill you.”
I absolutely loved the conclusion to this series. It gives us readers everything we were hoping for and more. I enjoyed every second of this intense world filled with murder and mayhem, and love and sacrifice! Such a phenomenal series!
Great conclusion to the series. It ends the story well and keeps you interested up until the very end.
Amazing storytelling! The series astounds the reader! Fae wanting to conquer mortals, fighting and deaths adding up. Fae portals and back to the human portal, Allie was right in the mix of all. Her family was also in the middle with her sister wanting to be the Queen. The characters are so vivid and the story is compelling, the series can’t be missed. Good reading, good book!
This is the last book in the series and I have loved every word of every book. Ally has some tough choices to make. Does she sacrifice herself, her husband, her family, the Fae or the mortals in her hometown? What should she do to get the best outcome? What happens will probably surprise everyone.
The feels!!! Sarah has done a tremendous job of concluding this series with this last book.
The ups and downs for Allie, the twists and turns on almost every page, detailed descriptions of characters and both the mortal world and the faewald keep you flipping pages just to see what happens to Allie and Scouvrel next!
Mishaps, horrors, family, friends, love and hate in abundance this last book wraps up the Tangled Fae books wonderfully but still manages to leave you with hopes of a sequel!
