I wanted to scream STOP, when I got a glimpse of love…of the perfect life where all my dreams could come true. A gorgeous sexy man to spend the rest of my life drooling over. A man that would make me bold enough to take a … would make me bold enough to take a chance on him…to step away from a life that no longer existed.
Too bad that carousel starts turning again and you can’t freeze that perfect moment in time. Do we only get glimpses or can a love like that be real?
A girl like me, doesn’t deserve the love of a good man, and with the terrible things I’ve done…it would never happen…unless I can become a better version of myself.
STOP the carousel ride! I want off before it all fades into nothing to get a taste of a beautiful life.

Firstly I have to say I just absolutely loved this book and recommend you go to a quiet space to read it as you won’t want to be interrupted!
Mags and her brother Phillip are drug addicts, following the family traditions it would seem but Mags wants more to life but also still wants one more hit and things then go terribly wrong. We now have Mags travelling on train heading to a coastal town to spend the school break just relaxing but Will has other ideas and even though it appears a bit awkward her turning up when his family are going through trying time you can see they are meant for each other. This is a book of hope, understanding, second chances and love but also of how things never run smoothly, you have to work at things and life is there to challenge us.
Fading Into Nothing is beautifully written and unlike any other book I’ve read by Kelly Moore. I was taken on an emotional roller coaster. The twists and turns in held me in suspense right up until the very end. None of them I expected. Fading Into Nothing touches on a very sensitive subject, addiction. I loved the main characters, Will, Maggie, Caroline and Hank. I had an easy time connecting with Maggie. Maggie as the addict and her through her recovery. Fading into Nothing will hold a special spot in heart and will always be a favorite
I was shocked; you’ll never guess the end of this story!
That book stunned me with the turn of events! Just when I thought the HEA was coming……..
Maggie Harper struggled with her life until she decided to make something out of it. She fights her old demons to finally star a new life.
When she encounters a handsome stranger in a train, her life changes forever…… Will it really be the beginning or the end ?
When you think you have everything figured out, life always finds a way to throw you into another direction.
Kelly Moore nailed it !
I seriously didn’t see that coming! For a multitude of reasons, this story will always be one of my favorites.
Not only a beautiful love story, but a beautiful tale of survival and overcoming the odds. Wills, Mags, Hank, Caroline, Patrick and Lip….will not only make you cry but you will fall in love with them and what might be or should have been. All the while why showing the reader that sometimes the small things in life make a huge difference to some. We should all strive to make a difference.
A definite must read!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Okay let me say that I wasn’t too impressed. Until I got to the end. Then I just stood there trying to wrap my head around what I just found out. I mean wow! Just WOW! That really called for some thinking. Now I guess I will say this author has done it again. Truly impressed me with this one.
I did listen to this on audio. Jackie Wynn and Van Wynn Are the narrators. They did a nice job.
This story deals with addiction. It shows us the true pain that addiction can cause as well as destroy many dreams. Maggie wants out of her addiction and to start a new life. But that one chance meeting, can change everything. Just when Maggie thinks she has found her new beginning, life throws her another curve. This book is so true to life, it is easy to relate to. Maggie is a strong character, who keeps being dealt those horrible hands. The twists in this book will keep you on your toes until the end. And that ending! OMG! I never guessed it.
Jackie Wyn and Van Wyn are a great team for this narration. They have complimentary voices that made the narration smooth and easy to follow. They kept the characters separate and distinct. This narration team enhanced the overall experience of this book. I really enjoyed listening to it.
This is a story about drug addiction and how it can tear a family apart. I love Maggie and Will instant attraction to each other. Their love story was interesting to see how it developed. The twist near the end was confusing, but was self explanatory as it ended. Kelly Moore poignant writing on the subject of drug abuse, rehab, death, love, and choosing life. I loved the duet narration by Jackie Wynn, Van Wynn Expressing all emotions for the characters, giving each character their own voice and personality. audiobookobsessionrevies
Fading into Nothing
Epic Love Stories Series, Book 2
By: Kelly Moore
Narrated by: Jackie Wynn, Van Wynn
This was nothing like I expected. Kelly Moore carefully manipulates a very hard subject into a beautiful love story. Telling a story of addiction is difficult, and this one is not easy. The way Moore weaves the love story between Will and Maggie is telling and full of emotion. So much is covered in such a short time, loss, unconditional love, grief, happiness, cravings, all things we get to experience with this couple. It’s heart wrenching at times, and makes you smile at others. And the twist will leave you rethinking the whole book! Moore again writes an epic love story that stays with you long after you are finished.
Jackie Wynn tells this story from Maggie’s point of view. The first scene, she has such emotional pull, it drags you right into the story. I enjoyed her voice, and thought the match to this character was exactly how I would have imagined her. Van Wynn voiced the male conversations. I thought he fit in well into the story, and there was a definite chemistry when the conversations were interacting. It gave the story the feelings of Maggie and Will. I definitely recommend their portrayal of Fading into Nothing.

Fading into Nothing by Kelly Moore, will emotionally challenge your senses. The story is baffling, confounding, perplex, but well designed. The storyline is fantasy, but not, and that makes it intriguing. I loved this story beginning to the very end.
Jackie & Van Wynn did a fantastic job narrating this story.
Maggie Harper and her brother, Phillip, are alone and both addicted to drugs as teenagers.
This book totally threw me for a loop. I didn’t expect the outcomes at all. I was hooked from the moment I started the prologue!
I couldn’t believe the turn of events, this book got me hook, line, and sinker.. Well worth the read!
When Maggie meets Will Taylor he totally throws her for a loop, he is so sure of himself and the things he says completely take her by surprise. She doesn’t know what she is feeling, she’s never felt this way before.
I loved Will and Maggie! I also really fell in love with Hank, he was just so sweet and special.
Not only are the main characters in this book very well written, the side characters also make an impression. That is what makes a great book!!
Fading into Nothing was a sweet yet sad story that took me by surprise with its twist. The story touches on addiction and the struggles that goes with it and it was told in such a unique way that I was hooked until the end.
I loved the characters. Maggie and Will were perfect for each other. I enjoyed seeing their relationship blossomed. They had intense chemistry and their steamy scene were downright hott. The extended characters provided support and balance and at times much needed hilarity.
I listened to the audible version of this story. It was narrated by Jackie Wynn and Van Wynn. These two did as amazing job with the characters. Their voices blended well together and they brought the story to life. It was a pleasure listening to them both. This was a fantastic story. I absolutely love it and would highly recommend it.

Fading into Nothing
Epic Love Stories Series, Book 2
By: Kelly Moore
Narrated by: Jackie Wynn, Van Wynn
Kelly Moore is a master at creating ‘Epic Love Stories’ that are mind blowing! She is a gifted author, her stories immediately grab your attention as well as your heart. The characters are well developed, likable and ones you can relate to. Maggie Harper and her older brother Philip (Lip) has not had the easiest of lives, a drug addict mother who OD’d when they were 12 & 13 years old and a drug dealing father who is rotting in prison. The two were sent to foster care but escaped and lived on their own barely surviving and falling to drug use as well. Maggie gets her life back on track, goes to college and becomes a teacher. On her summer vacation she decides to head south, on the train she meets Wills Taylor. The two hit is off right away. The story picks up from here, she spends time with him, stops and meets his family before heading to her destination. Their story is an amazing story, almost like a dream. I love the way the story is told and the twists that happen. Some are given second chances, some get to live a life destine for them and some find their epic love! Well done Kelly Moore well done! Thank you for another awesome story!

Wow! This book pulls you in from the very beginning and doesn’t let you go until the end. It is not your typical romance. There is a romantic background but with a twist you do not ever see coming. Kelly writes about a real life issue that is hitting home in the world today and adds her twist to it and makes you want to pull for Maggie. You just can’t put this book down. You get immersed in the lives of her characters. This is my first book of Kelly Moore’s but it will not be my last. This is such an amazing book. It is one that will leave you with a sigh and a memory that will last you long after you have finished the last page. Will Maggie get her happily ever after? Read this book to find out. I highly recommend whether you are a romance reader or not. The romance is there but the book is so much more than that. You will not be sorry you did.
Just finished this book. Absolutely amazing. You will definitely get all the feels while
reading it. I love it when an author pulls you in like you are right there with the characters. What a roller coaster ride they had to go through to get where they are but worth every page read. I would recommend this book and Author.
OK, I will warn you now – strap yourself in and get your heart ready for a roller coaster! This book was absolutely beautiful and wonderfully written; my heart soared and broke right along with the wonderful characters. I read this in one sitting and am now trying to get over the hangover my heart is suffering from this book. An amazing story about addiction, filled with love, loss and redemption. I would highly recommend this book!
Maggie knows what it feels like to fade into nothing. She’s living together with her brother Lip in their rundown apartment. Their mother passed away as the result of an overdose and their father is in prison, so they only have each other. Maggie and Lip have very few possessions and try to survive day by day. They seek an escape of their constant struggles in drugs. All they want is relief from the pain and heartache. Maggie knows that this lifestyle can’t continue and tries to convince her brother that they’re cut out for bigger things. Can they find a way to overcome their addiction and become who they were once destined to be?
Maggie and Lip have been through so much together. They depend on each other and didn’t get the tools from their parents to grow up differently. To avoid their true feelings they seek refuge in the only thing they know and have seen in their young lives. Maggie wants to get high just one last time, but it all goes wrong. When she wakes up she remembers nothing about the way her life was before but she still has scars to prove what she did. Will they be able to rise above their struggles before there’s nothing left to save?
Maggie is on her way to a house that she’s renting for the summer. She’s never been on a train before and when a stranger sits down across from her she’s immediately taken by how handsome he is. Will is on his way home to attend the funeral of his brother. He’s heartbroken and needs somebody to lean on. Maggie and Will have an instant connection and they know that what they’re feeling is very special. Maggie has always been the logical one, but she throws caution to the wind and decides to go with Will. Has she finally found her true destiny?
Fading Into Nothing is a moving story about dealing with addiction, grief and true love. It’s a gripping book with lots of surprises. Maggie and Lip are so close and I could feel the desperation about their current situation. My heart wept for these two young people and I wished for them to overcome their issues. Every time I thought I had it al figured out, Kelly Moore managed to blow me away by throwing in an unexpected twist. Her stories are always full of emotion and she addresses a lot of difficult topics, but they never overpower the good. Fading Into Nothing is bittersweet, it moved me to tears, but it also put a big smile on my face. Maggie and Will touch each other’s soul on a deeper level and my heart was overflowing with joy for them both. Kelly Moore is one of my favorite authors and I highly recommend any book that she has ever written.
I listened to the audible version. I would like to give this title 3.5 stars. The narration was good, but there were a couple things I found strange. It started out with a very mature voice describing herself as 17 years old, which didn’t seem to fit. The female voice was nice to listen to and very soothing, but so soothing that I fell asleep twice and ended up listening to the last hour three times (three different days) to finish the book. The other unexpected part was the way that the dual narration was handled. The book was written from a single point of view with one person doing the female voices and the other the male voices. I think I would have really liked this approach except for that they still read all the written queues, like “he said” or “he chuckled”, even when the emotion was clearly performed with the words.
The story itself was interesting. I haven’t read any of the other books in the Epic Love Stories series, but I didn’t feel that I had missed any of this story. This novel stands on its own.

This is my third Kelly Moore story to listen to. I enjoyed Life Goes On and Gypsy. This one I listened to yesterday with my 17 year old as we went on a trip (3 hours away) to pick up my niece. It was a nice story as it was a sweet story with a little heartbreak and sadness thrown in. I am looking forward to reading/listening to all of her stories as they seem so real as I settle in and go on the journey.
Loved this story. Kelly Moore has done it again! She is such a great storyteller. This book is filled with so many different emotions. Never saw what was coming. Mind blowing exhausting experience!! A must read.
Maggie is going through a tragic time in her life. She meets Will on her way to a vacation in North Carolina. This story has everything great going on. Drug addiction, learning to cope with loss, finding love and recovering. A wonderful read that I enjoyed to the end.
