It was only supposed to be a summer fling.
I left the only girl I ever truly cared about. Not because I wanted to, but because I had to. Bianca locked herself away, not even telling me goodbye.
Now it’s Christmas break and she’s avoiding me at all costs. How am I supposed to tear down the walls she’s built to prove we’re made for each other?Previously published as My Only Wish is You
This is the 5th book in this awesome series, and is a wonderful addition. Marshall and Bianca were only supposed to have a summer fling, and when he left and went to college she built up walls around herself. Now Marshall is back hoping to convince Bianca to give him a second chance. This is a well written sweet story, which I recommend for all.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Katrina Marie does not disappoint. I love everything written by her, and this story did not let me down. Marshall and Bianca’s story was one that I was really looking forward to, and I’m so glad that it was written. I loved Bianca in other books in the series. Her no BS attitude was one I love, and I’m so glad that we got to see another side of her in this book. It was obvious early on in the series that Marshall was one of the good guys, and he totally proved it throughout this book. This book had some moments that made me mad, but I’m so happy with how it ended. This was a short read showing that fighting for what you want does pay off in the end.
This book was short and powerful.
Sometimes if you love someone you need to let them go and if they come back to you, you know it was meant to be..
Marshall has to leave to go to college and he is leaving Bianca behind. Both characters are broken but they find each other again and Marshall is doing everything in his power to show Bianca that he is head over heels in love with her. Bianca needs to overcome some of her fears but Marshall wont let her face them alone.
This is a must read!
This was a short and sweet book. I’m not surprised the rest of the series has been great too. In this one we have Bianca and Marshall. They have a past and when given the opportunity they try it for a second time. Thankfully this time it works out in the end for them.
It was just meant to be a summer fling but he knew he wanted so much more. He left because he had too not because he wanted too. Now he is back and he wants to show her he wants her for good. Will he break through the walls she has built around her? Will she sees she needs him as much as he needs her? See if she will

Short, sweet and too the point! Marshall wants Bianca’s. They have a past. She’s afraid and he does what everything he can to convince her to come back to him. A few laughs a long the way and some swoon worthy moments too.
I loved this book it reminded me of how I met my significant other and was afraid for what my family would think of him. This is such a sweet love story Bianca and Marshall are perfect for each other. This book will leave you wanting more.
This story, breaks your heart right away. Its like hey you know going in that you want these characters to have some amazing love story. Heck you know going in there is probably going to be problems, but RIGHT OFF THE BAT they are already to this pivotal moment of heart break and pain.
I kind of liked how this book was set up. How Marshall was set on fixing things, and how everyone around him knew what he needed to fix it!
These two, even when fighting the pull towards one another are being pushed right back to each other. Their everything is saying BE together.
First I have to say I was very sick of Bianca by the end of the book while Marshall won my heart and mad me wish he had chosen ANYone else. However this is a good read and Marshall is enough of a reason to read t all on his own. Since he has decided he can’t possibly live without her and does what he can to prove it to her if only she wasn’t so stubborn. We get a wonderful story of cat and mouse and we also get to enjoy Marshall laying on the charm. Bianca does have their reasons but with a sweetie like Marshall she needs to get over it. Yup loved it and this author a wonderful read.

This is the 2nd book I’ve read written by Katrina Marie; she has done a great job at writing a good book. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.
A sweet and entertaining short read. Can be read standalone. Enjoyed the characters and story premise.

Marshall has to leave to go to the college where he was accepted. Sounds great, but in leaving, it means he’s leaving Bianca, the girl he’s come to love. When she won’t see him before he has to leave, it only solidifies his feelings for her. So much so that when he comes home for Christmas break, he’s beyond determined to get Bianca back. It takes awhile to get her to let him back into her life, and when she does, he’s surprised to learn why she rejected him before. Now Marshall just has to figure out how to get around the obstacle Bianca and he are facing.
Once I started reading My Only Wish is You, I realized I had read the first book in this series, Welcome to Your Life, and I understood why some of the characters seem familiar. Although I don’t remember either Marshall or Bianca from that first book, I found it easy to understand what was going on here. I ended up falling for Marshall. He’s a sweetheart, and so determined and patient with Bianca, who’s a bit (A LOT) prickly. Luckily for her, he stuck to his guns, or she’d have ended up a bitter old woman later when she realized what she had lost by being so freakin stubborn. Aside from being annoyed in general by Bianca, I liked My Only Wish is You. It’s sweet and Marshall is the perfect bbf. I’m looking forward to much more from this promising author.
College student Marshall meets a few years older Bianca a tattoo artist and Latina on summer break. He thinks she’ll be fine with a long distance relationship when he goes back to school until she doesn’t return his calls and texts. He transfers to a college closer to be with her, but she still won’t talk to him. It’s to until she meets his parents and he meets hers and they are accepting of their relationship that she lets him back in. This was a YA romance dealing with age and cultural differences.
Book five in the Taking Chances series is a well-written story that kept my interest throughout. Bianca let Marshall leave for college without saying goodbye, but now he is back and he is going to fight for what he wants. I enjoyed reading how their story grew. This was a super cute book guys! It follows Bianca from Life in Ink and Marshall, Jake’s best friend from Welcome to my life. I really enjoyed this story.. I love how Marshall didnt give up on Bianca despite her fighting it because of reservations from other parties. I loved how this ended!! Now I’m excited to read reaf and tanya’s next book and Randall’s book!!
My Only Wish is You is the first book I have read by this author. I really liked it. It was a short read but still good! I loved Marshall and Bianca!
Marshall and Bianca had a summer romance that ended when Marshall had to leave town for school. Bianca had shut him out before he left, but Marshall didn’t give up on trying to talk to her and connect with her. Now, Marshall is back in town and wants to see Bianca, he wants to talk to Bianca.
I didn’t see her coming and she’s my polar opposite in every way.
Marshall and Bianca, I’ve been interested in them from the moment these two were introduced and I couldn’t wait to find out their story. The story was a little on the shorter end, but there was so much to it. We got to see the growth of these characters and Bianca overcoming her fears when it comes to a relationship.
Marshall, he is such a perfect gentleman. I love that he never gave up on Bianca. He is sweet and sexy and would do anything for her, even if it meant that he couldn’t have her in the end. Bianca, she doesn’t want to disappoint her family, but I am glad she was finally able to overcome her fears and worries.
Marshall and Bianca’s story was a great addition to the other books.
The book is a good romance read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good. The story is a sweet romance read.

I love these books so much! I was really curious as to what was going on between Bianca and Marshall in Jake’s book, but I never imagined this would be their lives! I loved how determined Marshall was and for a long time I was pretty upset with Bianca. She was pretty dang selfish for quite a while and just wouldn’t hear out Marshall. I absolutely loved how Marshall didn’t back down and completely gave it his all to win back Briana. He was so darn determined, it was so adorable! I absolutely adored how this ended and I loved that we got to see some more of the other couples too!
Bianca and Marshall’s love story is a sweet and quick read. Although it was a quick read it was engaging, Marshall and Bianca had a summer romance and Marshall has to leave for college and Bianca is hesitant to continue their relationship. Marshall is determined to change her mind.
