Trespassers will be turned to stone For centuries, mystical creatures of all description were gathered to a hidden refuge called Fablehaven to prevent their extinction. The sanctuary is one of the last strongholds of true magic. Enchanting? Absolutely. Exciting? You bet. Safe? Well, actually, quite the opposite . . . Kendra and her brother, Seth, have no idea their grandfather is the … grandfather is the current caretaker of Fablehaven. Inside the gated woods, ancient laws keep order among greedy trolls, mischievous satyrs, plotting witches, spiteful imps, and jealous fairies. However, when the rules get broken, powerful forces of evil are unleashed, forcing Kendra and Seth to face the greatest challenge of their lives, to save their family, Fablehaven, and perhaps even the world.

I read this book a while ago but I plan to read it again !! I remember the witch escaping the garden !! I wasn’t even a character in the book and I felt the same fear the main characters did!! This book was amazing!!
Love, love, love this series! This was the book that made me a fantasy reader.
This series is also amazing! I wish there were more books to the series, but there are only 7 books. 🙁
Such a fun book to read. I had a great adventure with these characters and watching them grow was amazing. Very good, definitely a must read.
A definite read for believers! Even as an adult this book caught my attention. It’s the perfect touch of magic.
I love the entire series! Follow Seth and Kendra as they realize a trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa turns out to be an adventure beyond their wildest dreams.
Best series ever. Better than Harry Potter.
This series is so fun! I’m ordering the next one
One of my many brothers recommended the Fablehaven series to me. I stared it to see if it was any good, and by the time I had reached the 3rd chapter, I was so hooked in I didn’t even want to put the book down! After I read the series, I researched some more books that Brandon Mull had written because I had liked Fablehaven do much, and found Beyonders and Five Kingdoms. I loved those books as well, so if you are interested in reading some amazing books, I recommend Beyonders, Five Kingdoms, or Fablehaven.
This has to be my favorite book ever!
This is the book that got me into reading in the first place. I used to think that reading was stupid and never really found anything interesting about it. Then, when I was 6th grade, I found this book on my reading teacher’s shelf.
I picked it up and since them have been addicted to reading. The entire story is just so awesome! Kendra and Seth are both awesome protagonist! They felt real, but not in the bad way. When things got real and dangerous they were scared but pressed on anyway. When they were involved with a conspiracy, they didn’t back down they kept going.
Not to mention the interesting way’s the mythical creatures were handled. My favorite was how the Fablehaven founder was able to convince the mermaid woman (I forget their names unfortunately) to come back with the artifact they needed.
It even has twist and turns that make sense. Like the reveal of who the big, bad dragon really is in the third book!
I’d certainly recommend this book to anyone trying to get their child into reading, you won’t be disappointed.
Six out of five stars! Wonderful book! Well written, beautiful characters! Made me feel an empathy I never have before!
Good fun for readers young and old. My 16-year-old recommended it and I read it to my 10-year-old. We all loved the world built around magic and adventure, a unique approach to where all the mythical creatures might be today.
Reminds me of a lighter version of Harry Potter
This book is amazing it is so entertaining and you will always want to read more. it is full of action and it is a great fantasy book!
Definitely a great book, especially for 4th-6th grade. Many surprises, never wanted to put it down. Recommended
This such a good book!! It’s been a long while since I read these series but I wouldn’t mind reading it again..
