Ken Follet writes many different types of books, thrillers as well as excellent historical fiction, I highly recommend them ALL!!!!!!!
Classic novel set in a remote location. Read it years ago and still find it an interesting read especially if you like all things WWII and spy related!
A classic spy story that does not go become outdated.
Very entertaining. The type of book you are eager and sad to complete.
One of his best, edge of your seat gripping.
Best Thriller I have ever read. Reread it every few years, its SO good. A classic.
Suspense at the end is unparalleled.
Great mystery.
One of my favorite WWII books
Well crafted and hard to put down.
Excellent
Terrific tale of an embedded German spy in England who discovers critical details of the planned Allied invasion of Europe. The gist of the book is British intelligence identifying its target, an agent known as the “Needle”, as he attempts to escape and alert Berlin.
One of the best by Ken Follett.
This is my second favorite Ken Follett book with the first being The Day of the Jackal. The German spy’s code name was “The Needle.” Should he succeed the Nazis might win the war. He was the object of a huge manhunt and he would stop at nothing to escape with his information. What I liked best was the strong female character. I have read it at …
Fast paced, really enjoyed it.
Not many people realize how close Germany came to northern European domination, and the lengths to which the Fatherland would go to realize Hitler’s vision of a German empire. This is a wonderful, fictional account of an alternate reality that may very well have changed the course of history.
Love Follett’s books.
Gripping, thriller!
It has been so long since I read it, it is hard to remember particulars. I do remember I really liked it
An impending invasion on the French coast…
Decoy barracks tanks and Spitfires…
…sprinkled across the English countryside.
A spy smuggling intel that will squash the Allied assault…
…and a young girl on an isolated island that stands in his way.
Eye of the Needle is the book that put Ken Follet on the map. This novel has action, adventure, …
This was the first Ken Follett book I ever read and have read almost everyone since. A terrific read!
Ken Follet is my favorite author. Historical fiction at its best
