His weapon is the stiletto, his codename: The Needle. He is Henry Faber, a coldly professional killer and Germany’s most feared deep-cover agent in Britain. His task: to discover the Allies’ plans for D-Day, and get them to Germany at all costs. It’s a task he undertakes with customary relish and ruthlessness — until he encounters Storm Island, and a woman called Lucy…
An older book but exciting read!
Good story. Kept me interested, huge con: sex scenes way, way too graphic, just not necessary. We get the picture with a lot less description. Oh, by the way…I am not a prude.
Ken Follett is one of my favorite authors. The Eye of the Needle is about a WW II German spy. It’s scary but very entertaining.

Follett’s a masterful storyteller, many based on facts. Easy, exciting reading always.
I read this a long long time ago. It’s still one of my favorites!
This one ticks all the right columns as all Folletts books do. Action, sex, romance, action, great yarn and it all comes right in the end. What more could you possibly want?
Early Ken Follett and at the top of his game in the world of history, relationships, and subterfuge.
This was one of the best books I have ever read. Full of suspense, hard to put down, really well written.
Ken Follett never disappoints with a spy thriller, and this early novel set my expectations of his writing for decades.
I did not know what to expect next.
I read this book and saw the movie many years ago. It was a book you could not put down.
You will not want to put this one down.
Good old fashioned espionage writing at its best!
This book is very intense which I like. Could not put it down.
I read this book some time ago and came back and read it again.
This and the key to Rebekah are the books that made me a Ken follet fan
I read the book long before I saw the movie and I was so glad. The book made me catch my breath and hold it, just like I was there. The author transports you.
Exellent
One of his best.
