I really enjoy Cheryl Bradshaw’s books and “Eye For Revenge” is no exception, in fact I think it’s one of her best murder mysteries. There is excellent character development, a good deal of suspense, a dash of romance and a surprise ending that I didn’t see coming. I received an ARC of this book and found it to be a very enjoyable read and I totally recommend it to mystery lovers or anyone simply looking for a good story to devour.
This book will keep you guessing!
yet another spectacular cheryl bradshaw book!! this will keep you on the edge…
This cross between romantic suspense and murder mystery finds a devastated Quinn, searching for the killer of her best friend Evie. Behind the small town respectability, there are secrets and jealousies to be unearthed.
With a brisk place and a flawed but engaging protagonist in Quinn, this story is as much about her battles and transformation as securing justice for Evie. As the pressure and danger mounts for Quinn, she stands her ground, putting her life on the line to avenge her friend.
This is another thrilling story from the versatile Cheryl Bradshaw, who always writes entertaining stories with pace, mystery and great characters.
so many plots & sub-plots in this one, hard to put down. Bradshaw continues to pull me in.
pretty good beginning but often fell apart with irrelevant details.
I finished it in one sitting. Couldn’t stop reading till the end. Terrific read.
Great story about a woman named Quinn whose best friend, Evie, was found dead and had a son named Jacob. Quinn was obsessed with finding out how Evie died and why. Quinn also took care of Jacob.
good book for a long winters night.
Great read.
A good page turner
Disappointing. The writing wasn’t bad, it’s just that nothing much happens until almost the end of the book. Quinn returns to her hometown and family after the murder of her best friend. Her marriage is in shambles and her life is in upheaval. She feels duty bound to find her friend’s murderer and reconnects with her old high school flame, now a detective, to solve the case. There aren’t any twists or turns in the storyline to hold the readers interest and almost no “bread crumbs” of evidence along the way to make the reader feel like they are in on solving the crime. There were a few potential perpetrators investigated, but those individuals are ruled out quickly with solid alibis. Then suddenly the real perpetrator is exposed and the case is solved. There just wasn’t enough happening in this story to hold my interest.
Another great book from one of my favorite authors!
Loved this book and of course I love the author
Easy read, good story
I liked the characters and the little twist at the end. Did not see that coming. Easy read.
I have read many of Cheryl Bradshaw ‘s books and this one does not disappoint. There were several subplots but they all came together at the end. Looking forward to more of her books.
Loved this book
The book was somewhat sad and the relationships a bit messy. But the murder was interesting and the solution a surprise.
A good read. I highly recommend.
