This is my first book from this author and I can tell you now it won’t be my last. I enjoyed this book a lot and although it’s the second book in the series, it can be read as a standalone. I enjoyed all of the characters of Sin City. Of course Sin and Adam were my favorites because this book centers around the two of them more but I also enjoyed Dan and Miles. I love the relationship Sin and Adam had after having gone through so much in their early childhood, I love that they had each other. I also enjoyed Seth and Aiden’s friendship. Now when it comes to Adam and Seth, holy hell. Their relationship was steamy and the chemistry between the two was undeniable. I enjoyed them together a lot however, I could have done with a little less of the back and forth with Adam. Other than that, this was one hell of a read. I’m definitely looking forward to reading more books from this author.
Adam is in the Sin City band and he hasn’t come out to many people. He grew up in foster care so his childhood was rough. Seth is hired as a bodyguard when a stalker gets involved in the mix. The attraction between Adam and Seth is intense from the start. Seth has been out as a gay man for years and has no interest in being a dirty secret. The heartbreak is real with this story but I loved how the guys eventually get their happy ever after. A great rocker romance.
I received a copy of this book via Netgalley and am leaving a review.
When I read Exquisitely Broken I was taken in by the wonderful M. Jay Granberry but after reading Exquisitely Hidden I don’t ever want to leave her world! Debra @janise’s Jivin’ Book Blog
Our main men are so real and deep. Their chemistry is super sizzling and that gets the relationship into a place that there is no going back from. They have issues and hiding is Adams main go to reaction to relationships due to his past. His story is such an integral part of the whys of their relationship issues but Seth is the reason he wants to maybe try and deal in a new way.
We also get a more in depth look at Sin and Adams relationship as well. Family really is not always blood!
Have tissues at hand, prepare your heart for the story of a lifetime!
M Jay Granberry slayed this mm book. Seth and Adam are characters that you can’t help but love. This story is sexy with the right amount of drama. These characters are both from the author’s debut novel Exquistely Broken but it doesn’t need to be read to follow this book. It is a beautiful journey as you follow both men discover love and heartbreak.
Exquisitely Hidden by M. Jay Granberry is the second book in the Sin City Tales series and it was an emotional story with all kinds of feels. Adam has it all. As a member of the band Sin City, the band are his family and they always come first. When Seth joins the band’s tour, the chemistry and connection with Adam is instant and strong. But Adam has not come out yet and Seth does not want to hide. Where does this leave them? We follow Seth and Adam as they struggle through their feelings and needs. Will they find their happily ever after? Their journey was heartbreaking and painful and I devoured it.

Happy reading!
Complicated love…
Oh I couldn’t wait to dive back into the Sin City Tales! Sin and Jay hooked me in book one and Adam and Seth’s story was percolating already. Now, not only did I get to hang out with much loved characters but got to dive into a new, oh so complicated relationship…
How do you keep a secret when it seems all eyes are on you? Well, it takes a lot of effort and it’s easy to stomp on feelings along the way… Adam and Seth were electric together but so many things got in their way. Seth was devoted. Adam was too but he wasn’t ready to face the world as a gay man. Seth just wanted to be loved. The drama was intense and melted my heart at times as love hurt so much…
I’m not ready to let go of these characters. Not one little bit. So I’ll be in the corner waiting for the third in this series… Just waiting…
*Reviewed for Nerdy Dirty & Flirty
I had high expectations for this book, having read and loved book 1, and I wasn’t let down. M. Jay writes a great story with a balance emotion, chemistry and angst.
My heart hurt for these characters, they fell for each other at first sight but their situation does make an open relationship possible. Adam is a rock star who doesn’t want to be labelled as gay. Fearing the effect that will have on his band but doesn’t expect to become obsessed with the new security guy Seth.
Seth hasn’t been in the closet in a long time. And he certainly won’t go back in just because Adam can’t come out. Can the rocker and the bodyguard move beyond this impasse?
I was so impressed with the predecessor to Seth and Adam’s story, and I was no less amazed by the second installment. Adam and Seth are a wonderful couple once they finally become one. Before they finalized everything, the push and pull was angsty and delicious, but I admit to wanting to shake Adam for hurting Seth so much by hiding him away like he was something to be ashamed of. But I can’t judge too harshly considering I’ve never been in his situation. It cannot be easy hiding one’s sexuality, especially if in the public spotlight, so I’d imagine Adam reacted pretty normally for someone in his shoes.
I’ve loved this Sin City Tales series, cannot wait for more!
5 STARS
What a great story! M. Jay has done an incredible job of writing Adam and Seth’s story in a way that helps you connect to each man’s struggle over loving another without being able to express themselves openly. This story was emotional and definitely worth the read!
Exquisitely Hidden is the second book in the Sin City Tales Series, and can be read as a standalone. I’m looking forward to reading more from M. Jay Granberry. If you are looking for a great MM romance, look no further as this is an EPIC read! Exquisitely Hidden by M. Jay Granberry will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!
** spoiler alert ** Adam has always kept his love life in the shadows. Seth knows that messing with a client is breaking the rules. Neither can help themselves. Will Adam be ready to come out? Will Seth get the man he dreams of?
ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS! This book took me on a roller coaster and you couldn’t help but feel for both of these characters! I loved how Seth was who he was and he stood up for himself, but at the same time he couldn’t help who he loved. I didn’t blame Adam for being scared after his past, but loved how he overcame it and found happiness. Great read and will definitely be reading more of this author!

“The ache of two breaking hearts replacing our shared passion with unspoken sadness.”
I’ve been excited to read this second installment after being blown away by the author’s debut novel, Exquisitely Broken. Yeah, I’m a self-confessed rockstar romance addict and that was what made me give this new author a test drive. I was introduced to Adam and Seth in that first book so I knew going in this was going to be a heartbreaker, especially for Seth.
After spending time in foster care as a kid, Adam knows what it’s like to have nothing, and he doesn’t want to go back there. When their fans assume that he and the female lead singer are a couple he doesn’t correct them. They just live their lives and smile, keeping their secrets. When their fanbase grows to include a stalker it becomes necessary to hire extra security. There was no denying the instant chemistry between the rocker and the security guard, Seth. The sizzle between them was intense and they probably didn’t hide it as well as they thought they did.
Seth has been out of the closet for years and he doesn’t want to be anyone’s dirty little secret. But, getting one taste of the delicious rocker is something he can’t resist. He’s warned up front not to expect more, and he doesn’t. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t want more. “I’ve offered my heart, I’ve offered my body, but he won’t take it.” What’s it gonna take for Adam to realize that his fear of losing will guarantee that he does? If he lets Seth walk away, won’t he be taking his heart with him? How satisfying will his rockstar lifestyle be if he’s all alone?
What I missed in this story is the music. Sin is the songwriter and the singer, so it’s understandable that her book included lyrics. And, I have to tell you, that even as support characters, Sin and Jake steal the show. He’s just so alpha and bossy and they can’t keep their hands off each other. That’s one of the things I loved so much about their story…sigh.
Don’t get me wrong, I adore Adam. But, I wanted to spank him at times. He’s just so stubborn and determined to ruin his own life. He’s always been the protector in his relationship with his bestie, Sin. They learned a long time ago that, “Family…” “Ain’t never been blood.” Now that she’s with Jake, he’s not needed as much. He’s got too much time on his hands to fantasize about the one he wants but can’t have. Or can he? Guess you’ll have to read Exquisitely Hidden to find out.
Audiobook Review: Exquisitely Hidden by M Jay Granberry, Narrated by Jacob Morgan & Benjamin Charles
Exquisitely Hidden is one of those stories where the message is clear and so is the heartache. Granberry drags you in kicking and screaming but leaves you feeling better for the experience. The journey speaks for itself. A hauntingly profound quest of truth and honor that will make your heart stand up and cheer.
This is the 2nd book in this series, and this is Adam and Seth’s story. Adam is the front man of his band, and he has lived with a secret all his life, and not even those closest to him are aware of it. Seth is gay and proud, and has been out since his teens, and the chemistry between him and Adam is intense, but Seth does not want to be a secret, and Adam is too scared to reveal it in case it impacts on his life. The push and pull between these two intense, but will Adam open up before it is too late? This is a well written story which is an emotionally charged tale, with secrets, conflict, drama, angst, love, and is an entertaining read. I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.
Wow. This book was hot! Not just romantically (talk about some scenes to make you blush) but emotionally. It’s a rock star and body guard love story. Adam is a rock star and Seth is on his security team. They have a secret romance. Adam isn’t ready to come out based on past trauma. Seth is out but so patient. But eventually that patience will wear out and Adam will have make a big decision. This story starts before book one’s story and that was so cool to me. I love revisiting that story through the eyes of Adam. Adam was a character I wanted to know more about. I was very satisfied in this telling. A holy smokes are Adam and Seth hot together. Not just sexually but also just all together. I wanted to scream at Adam so many times. I loved him but I hated what he was doing to Seth. This story is not just a romance. It’s a story about over coming past trauma and learning it’s ok to let someone else love you and take some of the control. Bottom line, always be who you are. These narrators knocked it out of the park. Their voices were exactly Seth & Adam. All around amazing book. I can’t wait for more!
Exquisitely Hidden is the second book in the A Sin City Tale Series. I recommend you to listen to this series in order. This is a beautifully written M/M Romance. Adam and Seth are wonderful characters. They share a sizzling hot chemistry. Adam had an horrible past, and his emotional rollercoaster of hot cold, and push pull, is exhausting, frustrating, and heartbreaking. Seth is caring and patient. I like his confidence, and his self-acceptance. I loved to see again Jake and Sin. Sin is a wonderful friend. The supporting characters are great. Jacob Morgan and Benjamin Charles did an outstanding job with the narration. If you like M/M Romance, you will love this one. Looking forward to read the next book in the Series, Exquisitely Yours.
4.25 Stars
After reading the other book in this series, I really wanted Adam’s story. I knew it would be angsty. It was. this was steamy as heck, broody as heck, hot as heck and at times frustrating as heck. The time line runs concurrent with the previous book but what kept me hooked was not only the push and pull between Adam and Seth but how AMAZING this was on audio. Jacob Morgan and Benjamin Charles did the damn thing right!! I loved both of their performances so much and I need more from them both. Thanks to Foreword PR and the author for allowing me to review this on audio. I volunteered to leave this unbiased review and all opinions are my own.

My first MM romance and I am not disappointed. I love Seth and Adam. A Rockstar and his bodyguard. Their eyes meet and instantly its an attraction like no other. They struggle with whether or not what their doing it appropriate given the circumstances. Saying it will only be one night, they were lying to themselves right from the start. Its all consuming. Adam struggles with coming out and carries so much fear and impending rejection and criticism. They struggle with that, the biggest factor in their relationship. The steam is so freaking HOT!!!! I thought I was going to pass out, just no words, just OMG! Their journey was hard and angst filled and squeezed so tightly on my heart. The narrators are AMAZING! I just love Jacob Morgan, hjs voice is so yummy! And the narrator that played Seth is new to me but he just hit it on the head for me with the way he portrayed the characfer. Just super sexy and emotional and perfect! I loved it all!
Exquisitely Hidden
A Sin City Tale
By: M. Jay Granberry
Narrated by: Jacob Morgan, Benjamin Charles
After hearing Jake and Sin’s story and meeting Adam, I could not wait to listen to this second story of the series. Adam and Sin are foster siblings and their relationship is special, But even their closeness never gave Adam the confidence to let her know he is interested in men. Now taken with Seth, who is open about his sexuality, Adam has choices to make. And what a story M Jay Granberry has woven around these two. I listened in one day, enjoying the push pull these two had. The confidence Seth exudes in who he is, the love he gives and frustration he feels is had me falling for him! Adam frustrated me too! He is journey to self confidence and his own happiness is heartfelt, had every emotion and I was right there with him. This is an amazing book, and I am loving the series.
Two better narrators could not have told this story. Jacob Morgan and Benjamin Charles perform each of their characters with feeling, tugging on every heart string. This team is incredible, and I hope they do more together!

Exquisitely Hidden by M. Jay Granberry is a rock star romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Jacob Morgan and Benjamin Charles. This is the second book in the Sin City Tale series and each book can be read as a standalone.
This is the second book of M. Jay Granberry that I have read and it definitely won’t be my last. I was hooked from the very beginning. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Adam and Seth. Their relationship was an emotional roller coaster but you couldn’t help but root for them. I can’t wait for the next book in the series Exquisitely Yours to be released so I can get Daniel and Jessica’s love story.
Jacob and Benjamin did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book to anyone who loves rock star romances or m/m romances.
From the first chapter, you feel the sorrow and longing shared between Adam and Seth. Adam’s backstory is filled with disappointment and pain. Seth is confident in his sexuality and has a strong support system. The challenges they face to be together is beautifully written and I really enjoyed getting to know these two characters.
