Exposing Ethan by Amy Waeschle is an amazing story to read. This is book number four in this amazing series that I have loved reading and can not wait to see what this author will write about next. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about mysteries and suspense in their stories.

Could not put the book down. Had all the twists and turns that you would expect from this author and more.
I really enjoyed this book! It was fast paced and flowed nicely. The turn of events were done beautifully and the ending was terrific!
Ms. Waeschle has written a heart pounding, breath taking novel of love, devotion and family ties that are unbreakable and unconditional. The characters of Cassidy, Quinn and Bruce are wonderfully woven into a story that is impossible to put down. This is an adventure filled with excitement and thrills. Descriptions so deep and powerful it is easy to put yourself right in the middle of each scene. It is exhausting. Very Highly Recommended
This is an ARC book. My review is honestly and freely given.
I like the way the author gives you a little of previous books so that you get to know the characters better even if haven’t read the previous books you won’t feel lost. Cassidy is having to relive the loss of Pete again as she is trying to solve the new case. Its a thrill ride as you go with her. Its a must read and once you have read it you are going to want to go back and read the other books
This fourth book in The Cassidy Kincaid Mystery Series by Amy Waeschle was a gripping story of suspense and danger that provided the reader with many minutes of entertainment touched with adventure and a little romance. This book is left with a great cliffhanging ending that will hopefully be resolved in the fifth and final book in this series. And yes the author’s note is accurate, these books are definitely better to read in order, which I intend to add to my TBR file soon. With that said, the author did include a brief synopsis of each book to help the reader understand where Cassidy’s feelings and actions were driven from which allowed the reader to understand the story’s pace and flow. This is a voluntary review of an Advanced Reader Copy of this book from Hidden Gems Books.
I really enjoyed it
This is another book where Cassidy has to face her past and continue to discover secrets that where hidden from her. She still mourns the loss of her fiancé which becomes even worse when she discovers he was murdered. Her life is in danger as well as her brother´s. The plot is full of twists and turns and once you start reading this book you do not want to put it down. Now all I want to know is what comes in the next book!
I downloaded a free copy of this book through Hidden Gems Books and this is my honest review.
This is book four of the Cassidy Kincaid Mystery series and sees Cassidy continue on her journey for truth, whilst still working as a geologist, researching the dangers of volcanos about to blow. She recently discovered the truth about her fiancé Pete’s death and now knows it was no accident. She was getting a lot of attention due to events in Costa Rica and her part in it, now she hopes to remain under the radar of the dangerous men behind what she observed. Finding another reporter who Pete was discussing a story with, right before his death, lead to her being sucked back into danger. She has to accompany FBI agent and old friend Bruce, to be debriefed by his task force about those events. He ends up recruiting her to help in their investigation of a case that is connected to what she went through and found in Costa Rica.
It is also connected to her brother Quinn and the bar he owns. It seems someone has already approached him wanting to buy him out, or at least offer him better services in exchange for a favour, but really it’s for money laundering. The FBI are interested, as this links to their main case they have been chasing for months and since the guy that approached Quinn seems to have an interest in Cassidy, they have both been asked to try and lure him in, so the FBI can hopefully turn him. He works at the docks and is helping to orchestrate the bad guy’s movements of drugs and people out, without shipments being checked.
Izzy Ford’s father gave a strange aside, after her recent TV interview about her work on volcanoes, mentioning her long dead father and that he had worked with him. It isn’t until much later in the case, that this becomes important, as Cassidy must try to figure out what the link is with their father, a charity organisation helping provide medical services to homeless teens and human trafficking. As usual. Cassidy jumps in without thinking, when those she cares about most are threatened and struggles to find out the truth in time to save them. There are numerous links to events in the previous books, but the author has also given a brief summary at the beginning of this one to help. Cassidy may want to get back to her job and prepare for the new semester, but where her only remaining family is involved, she will do anything to help.
It takes a while to build up momentum, but once it does, this story is non-stop action as Cassidy gets stuck into helping Bruce and Quinn, as well as trying to stop the human trafficking crimes she saw for herself and which got her fiancé killed just over a year ago. Never trust anyone who seems to have too much money, or someone with too much power! The saying that power corrupts definitely comes true in this tale and gives a shocking twist to the end of the story. There are more bigwigs to be uncovered and this book leads right into the next, as the web of secrets seems to start to unravel. Cassidy is finally allowing herself to heal at the very end and realise not everything she does causes harm to others. Another great read in this series, but I would recommend reading the others first, as there is a lot of complex storylines to understand. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
A ruthless killer. A hidden plot. Will Cassidy dig up old secrets in time to save the one thing that matters?
An action packed thrilling read that captures you and holds your attention from the first page to the last page. The story line is filled with suspense, mystery, intrigue, and keeps you on the edge of your seat as you can’t stop turning the pages. Strong characters that are relatable, strong, and well developed.

Extreme danger for Cassidy continues in this 4th book, as the FBI tries to unravel the mysteries of who is behind selling young women and children for profit. The case becomes more complicated and intense, and with each revelation the suspense increases. I can’t wait for the next book!

This a very well written suspense with intensity, suspense, intrigue and so many surprises and twists. Definitely a book that keeps you glued to the pages and on the edge of your seat. The characters were well written and well developed and defined, and easily relatable.
This was the first book in the series I read so I was a bit lost and I would recommend reading the prior books first. This book does end on a cliffhanger.

Cassidy Kincaid series. You don’t have to read entire series, Amy Waeschle gives a short story line explanation and backstory at the beginning. That said,
read the whole series you will enjoy the ride.Great suspenseful, adventure that had mystery intrigue, romance and action.
Can’t wait for book 5, Like the TV Series of our youth each book leaves you wanting to know more and Amy does not disappoint. Each book does that. My guess book 5 will end the series but then who knows…
Thank you Amy Waeschle for this ARC in exchange for my honest opinions.
This is a great story in this series. I enjoy reading about the adventures that Cassidy has; while still dealing with her grief after losing her fiance, Pete. The writing is spectacular with lots of action packed adventure. I received an ARC of this book for an objective review.
This is the fourth book in the series. I read the first book but not books 2 and 3. The author has a brief synopsis to bring the reader up to speed if they haven’t read the other books. I found it useful. Although I could read and follow the story, I think it would be most advantageous for the reader to have read the first 3 books. But this book is also a good stand alone story.
Cassidy is still mourning the loss of her fiance nearly 2 years before. It turns out that he was murdered, although originally it looked like an accident. She has become friends with an FBI agent and she and her brother get drawn into a dangerous case to try to draw out and snag some seriously bad criminals. Also complicating Cassidy’s life is a guy who makes her uncomfortable but who appears to be interested in her and in her brother’s business. She’s not sure if he’s trying to get her brother involved in criminal activity.
This is another high energy story with lots of twists and turns. I enjoyed it and I recommend this book, but only for mature audiences.
3.5 Stars
The story line and character work were good. The book had a fairly smooth flow to it. This was another great addition to the series and kept me entertained from beginning to end.

This is an awesome series!
Things I liked about the book:
1) It is an action-packed page-turner.
2) The deep bond between siblings.
3) Cassidy’s intensity.
4) A well-told story that holds your interest from page one to the end.
5) Well-written and edited.
Things I didn’t like about the book (reasons I subtract stars):
1) Language (Too frequent dropping of the “F” Bomb and GD).
2) Unrealistic situations (Cassidy allowed to roam free in an FBI building).
3) Ends on a cliffhanger.
A Kindle Unlimited Read.

The Cassidy Kincaid series by Amy Waeschle has been a GREAT find for me. I read a lot of books, so it really takes something to get hooked into an author and their writing to follow them and stick through series by them. Full disclosure – with her series like every other series I’m one of those who HATE WAITING for the next installment.
In this one, number four of five, the twists and turns from the lead up continue. Though a great read on its own you’d really suffer (in my opinion) by not having all of the background leading up to this point. Cassidy continues to develop more intricacies and more deeply with each book – flaws and all – which in addition to the well woven mystery plot makes this just a great series. I highly recommend this book to you but again, do yourself a favor and read the others first. Not only is the background they provide exceptionally helpful for this read, but they are all just darned good reads themselves.
Cassidy still struggles after the death of her husband Pete – even years later
Threats to her beloved friend Quinn and complex and tangled emotions related to Agent Bruce are battles she still struggles with.
Can Cassidy survive ling enough to be safe from ongoing unnamed harm, and find a way to live and love again?
An ongoing, intense, drama and action filled struggle
