When you’ve lived the reckless rock and roll lifestyle Rick Fars has it’s no surprise to learn he’s been there, done that, and in Rick’s case he’s most likely left his t-shirt behind on some woman’s bedroom floor. As a wealthy playboy bachelor Rick’s never been taken by any woman, but he’s taken plenty and often. Outwardly Rick is living the dream, however, appearances can be deceptive and behind … behind closed doors, Rick’s life is far more complex than most would realize.
When the past and the present collide will Rick’s future finally help him to know his own mind?

I loved this read!! It was a fabulous tale of acceptance, (of yourself and others) as well as a tale of hearts. It was a sexual exploration but was more than that. Heat meter was definitely up there for scenes but it was oh so good!
Narration was great! this was my first book by Bolton Hill – would absolutely listen again 🙂

Exhale and Move On by K.L. Shandwick is a Unconventional Rock Star Romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Bolton Hill. This is the first book of K.L.’s that I have read and look forward to reading more from her in the future. Bolton did an amazing job narrating. I haven’t read a lot of books based on a man’s point of view of relationships and I really enjoyed it. K.L. and Bolton are an amazing paring for this project. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Romance, Rock Star Romances, and M/M/F Romance.

When a narrators voice gives you tingles with their first few words you know that you’re in for a good listen. Bolton Hill did that for me with this book, I was hooked by him straight away and loved his reading of the characters.
I loved the story so very much. Pulling me into a world I’ve only ever read about. So very hot, don’t listen to this one without headphones! And yet a good storyline along with it. The characters are great and I loved watching the relationship grow. I was really sorry when it ended and the way it ended I doubt there will be a follow up much as I would love there to be.
Great Story, Great Audible Listen Emotional & Hot
Exhale and Move On
By: K.L. Shandwick
Narrated by: Bolton Hill
This is my first K.L. Shandwick book and consider me wowed! Rock stars are one of my favorite characters in romance books and what a rock star Rick Fars is! His story is not a typical one it is so much more. It is beautiful written, it is like the author is taking you inside his mind, you hear what he is thinking, you feel what he is feeling, what he is going through, the emotional turmoil, heartbreak, his wants, his needs and yet he stay and appears so cool. Yeah, he is a rock star and not your usual one either. There was great chemistry between him and Lennon and with Coral once she got on board. It may have took them some time to get it right but I am happy it did. Shandwick, thank you for this great and entertaining story, I am looking forward to checking out more of your work.
I listened to the Audible edition, Bolton Hill is a terrific narrator and voice performer. He brings the characters to life, gives each their own voice and personality. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen.
Audio Review
There is no doubting this author is the mistress of rock and roll stories, she certainly knows how to pull us in to the world of music and passionate nights but Exhale and Move On takes us to a whole different level in this book we get a beautifully written love story about the complex life we live in, we get the journey Rick finds himself on as he searches for love and at the end of it we realise it really doesn’t matter who we find love with because “Love is Love”……….
In this book we follow Rick as he first try’s to hide his secret attraction and then as he opens up and experiments with MMF, MFM and Bi before finding what truly makes him happy.
This book was an amazing book to listen to the narrator did a fantastic job bring the characters and the scenes to life. Bolton Hill is a new narrator to me but after listening well into the night with this one I will certainly be checking out more of his work.

Exhale and Move On
By: K.L. Shandwick

Going into this book, I wasn’t quite sure what to think. Rick Fars is a character, that is for sure. He is a rock star, one who loves them and leaves them. Now 38, he begins to rethink things. His bisexuality is something that has remained a secret, but that does not stop him from seeking male and female companionship. When Lennon and Coral come into his life, things change for them all. The beginning of this story had me wondering where it was going to lead, but as the story progressed, I became invested in the characters. KL Shandwick has led us into the world of exploring desires, finding what is missing and learning to accept yourself as you are. The book is full of raw, gritty scenes full of passion and satisfaction. It’s my first book by her, but it won’t be my last.
Bolton Hill brings this story to life. I think his voice is the perfect fit for the lives of these rock stars. He has a gritty sound, can add nonchalance and emotion where needed. He has a talent for giving the voice just what is needed for the scene, making the emotional pull strong and the story flow.

Rick’s life was dull, until he went to parties, hooked up with groupies but he thought he was missing something, after being burnt in his past, he wanted what some of his friends had. Thinking he has that only to realise that the complicated relationship he had was really, just being someone’s secret, he decides to move on.
When Lennon wants to meet up, Rick readily agrees as he has always felt a spark there, when he turns up with Coral, and Coral convinces them to spend the night together, when the sparks fly, Rick knows that it won’t be a night he will forget, but wants to be with someone that isn’t complicated and want to be he’s everything.
You watch as insecurities are worked through, and Rick starts to wonder if it can work after being burnt before and being second best with Jody. When Rick’s past shows up it affects him in a way he didn’t think it would.
Rick works through he’s feelings to see if he can get the happily ever after that he’s always wanted. I loved the way Rick stood up to his past and by showing her his future where he finally realizes that true love does exist. Amazing story, can’t wait to see what this author comes up with next.
