Samantha Chase, a master at writing romance novels, delivers two sweet love stories, Exclusive and A Touch of Heaven, where the lies and hidden facts can greatly affect the love relationship between two deserving people.
Exclusive is a sweet story that allows two former friends a sort of second chance after not seeing one another for close to ten years. Struggling journalist Taylor Scott is given the opportunity of a lifetime when reclusive best-selling author Jonathan Wade requests she be assigned to his first-time ever one on one, exclusive interview. When Taylor finds herself with the author’s assistant, Michael Greene, her high school boyfriend’s former best friend all does not go according to plans. For one week Michael and Taylor deal with their attraction to one another as Michael prepares Taylor for her exclusive interview. As these two spend time together, getting reacquainted, feeling grow, a romance begins, and emotions are tense. When Taylor discovers Michael’s lies and omissions, she will have to choose between the publishing the story that could launch her career and an unexpected chance at love.
A Touch of Heaven follows the budding relationship between carpenter, renovator, and reality TV host Sawyer Bennett, and spa owner Regan Amerson. Regan’s mother Caroline has the opportunity to participate in a reality show to renovate their family home, a home Caroline is hoping to sell. However, Regan struggles with the show’s direction as she fears her childhood is slowly being buried behind a modern update, erasing the memories of her late father. As her mother begins an affair with Sawyer’s father, contractor Max Bennett, Regan and Sawyer keep secret the beginning of their friendship and romance, fearing repercussions from the show’s producer. As love grows between Regan and Sawyer, there is a potential fall-out as Sawyer’s lies of omission threaten his relationship with the woman he is growing to love.
Ms. Chase wrote two delightful stories; filled with sexual chemistry, fun dialogue, and endearing characters. These stories were wonderful from start to finished, with an amazing HEA. I highly recommend this book to other readers.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Exclusive/A Touch of Heaven is a great duo by this author.
In Exclusive, we get to enjoy the reunion of Taylor and Mike, as Taylor is hired to interview a reclusive author. But what will happen when she finds out the truth?
In A Touch of Heaven, Sawyer and Regan must hide their attraction to each other while Sawyer’s show does the makeover to Regan’s childhood home. But Regan feels as if her past is disappearing before her eyes. Can they get past the conflict?
Both of these are great stories that pull you in and keep you reading. I definitely recommend this duo.
Exclusive
When Taylor, A NYC journalist, is asked to write an article on the illusive, mysterious novelist, Jonathan Wade, she is honored but also skeptical. This article can really boost her career.
Taylor agrees to a 2 week interview. 1 week with Jonathans assistant and 1 week with him. When she arrives at Jonathan’s farm, she finds out that Mike, a friend from her past, is his assistant.
As they spend time together, things heat up between the 2 of them. Passion irrupts. That is until she learns the truth.
Touch Of Heaven
Regan and her mom Caroline, are partners in a health spa. Since the death of Caroline’s husband, Regan’s father, Caroline feels like it’s time to sell the family home.
Caroline wins a home make over and will be featured in reality TV show. Regan wants no part of this and thinks It’s a totally bad idea.
They meet the father and son team, Max and Sawyer. Caroline and Max start a relationship and there is instant chemistry between Regan and Sawyer . This is 2 love stories in 1 book.
Taylor is given the chance of a lifetime to interview a recluse of an author. She arrives and is given the chance to become reconnected with an old friend, Mike.
Regan is having a very hard time with her mom wanting to sell their family home and when she wins a homemaker from a popular TV show that takes it to a whole other level. Sawyer is doing the best he can to ease the transition for her.
Both women think they have been tricked and now have to see if they have it in them to make their own leaps of faith to have their own happily even after with two amazing men.
I absolutely love the way Samantha writes. She just sucks you right into the story.
Two romances in one duo. These stories are not in the same book world or with the same characters, but they both tie in together beautifully to show how romance can grow, people can change and life is quirky.

A romance with a bit of intrigue, backstory, laughter and drama…yes please! I feel as though I got the twist to the story fairly quickly, and realized the concern the individual in the prologue showed, but I still enjoyed the story and how it was delivered through these characters. Per usual S.C. created a vivid world that I would love to see. The house, barn and land just seems to be ideal for relaxing.
Both characters come with some baggage, but not so much that they can’t find a way to meet in the middle. I don’t quite understand the recluse component, but I did think it was a fun part to the story. Overall a fun and quick read with characters who created a lovely romantic and intriguing story!
Side note- I cheered for Taylor when she stood up for herself, both times, at the very end of the book! Talk about inner strength and karma
A Touch of Heaven
The title of the book and the company name is a fun tie in, but I just keep going back to the glittery shirt
This is a great read where we get two romances at once. I was worried at the beginning bc I did not immediately connect with the mom or the mom/daughter relationship….but then I fell in love with the story and their growth and healing as the renovation and relationships progressed. The two romances show how love and trust can occur at any time and definitely when we least expect it. I also have to say I wanted to slap a certain villainous character, but applaud SC for how much I did not like him! A fun and quick read with some lovely moments, steamy escapades and beautiful family dynamics.
I enjoyed both of these stories and would recommend both. SC constantly creates stories that captures my attention and emotions. These stories had me laughing, tearing up, getting irritated and cheering. Beautifully told and fun to read
Thanks NetGalley, Sourcebooks Casablanca, and Samantha Chase for the chance to read these stories and share my opinions!
Another homerun from the AMAZING Ms.Chase who gives us two heartwarming stories in one great book!! In the first story Exclusive we meet Taylor & Mike. Taylor is trying to achieve her dream of being a journalist in NYC so while working at a magazine she’s offered the opportunity of a lifetime interviewing a reclusive bestselling author. When she gets to Maine she meets the caretaker who turns out to be a guy Mike that she knew in high school so Taylor thinks she’s there because he recommended her for the job. You really have to read this story to see how it all works out for Mike and Taylor and the elusive Mr.Wade. Nobody writes these genuine heartfelt relationship stories better than Samantha Chase. Now onto the second story the bonus book if you will A Touch of Heaven. Here we meet Regan and Sawyer who are starting off on the wrong foot in Regan’s eyes as she’s convinced that Sawyer’s father is trying to take advantage of her mother who he approached in the hardware store and told her that she won a home makeover. Max and his son Sawyer film a tv show doing home renovations but since Regan doesn’t want to sell the house she grew up in she’s skeptical. Can she get Sawyer to see things her way? What happens when the cameras start rolling and peoples feelings are involved? You really need to read this book to see the INCREDIBLE storytelling skills that are put on the pages for us to experience. Ms.Chase is genuinely gifted when it comes to tugging on your heartstrings and this book is another GREAT example of her talent!! I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion.
Wow! Samantha Chase is an exceptionally gifted writer. I just adore her writing style. She really does know what her readers want in a book and always delivers. I love her books because she always makes her stories relatable and easy to read. Samantha Chase has an ear for dialogue. She always creates enduring hereos. Samantha Chase gives life to romance.
Samantha Chase gives us two sweet and heartwarming stories in one great book.
Exclusive is a sweet and heartwarming story about second chances. I love second chance love stories. For Mike Greene, Taylor Scott wasn’t just the one who got away but she was also forbidden fruit because she was his best friends girl. When Mike gets his second chance at romance with Taylor he goes all out to get his chance with her. Taylor and Mike are perfect together. The chemistry they have is undeniable. I loved watching them face their struggles and find a way through them. I must admit I felt a lot of heartswooning moments. Exclusive is a very unique read for me. You not only get the second chance love troupe but you also get the friends to lovers troupe. Mike and Taylor were friends in high school. When Taylor and Mike reconnect it is just so natural flowing for them. It’s as if they never parted ways. They rekindle their friendship and so much more. Exclusive was very enchanting. I was sorry to see the story end. I enjoyed reading this book.
In A Touch of Heaven we get another amazing read from the gifted Samantha Chase. I must say I just adored A Touch of Heaven. A Touch of Heaven was different than other books due to the fact it wasn’t just a romance book. You get the romance aspect but you also got to read the mother/daughter aspect also. I felt so many emotions reading this book. My heart swooned and I even found myself feeling sad and giddy. One of my favorite lines was from Caroline when she said “For crying out loud, Regan, I’m your mother. You don’t have anything I haven’t seen before.” “It wouldn’t kill you to invest in some good underwear you know.” That had me cracking up laughing. I just adored Caroline and Regan’s relationship and their banter. I loved how Caroline even got the chance at love with Max Bennett. Regan Amerson does not like Sawyer Bennett in the beginning. I loved Sawyer and Regan. I really loved Caroline. I just loved all the banter and angst and struggles. Most of all my heart just broke for Regan and her struggles to find peace with her mom wanting to sell the home she grew up in. I laughed and cried and felt heartswooning moments. A Touch of Heaven was an exploration of many themes from romance to starting over to friendship. A Touch of Heaven is very addictive and awe-inspiring. The characters leap off the page. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. Samantha Chase should be applauded for such an exquisite story.

Taylor is a journalist who just got a offered the biggest story of her career. Not sure why they picked her but not wanting to turn it down either.
Mike has not seen Taylor in years, but has not been able to stop thinking of her. When she shows up as the journalist to write the article about his boss, things start to quickly heat up.
I love this story!! The storyline and characters just held me captive. I actually read this story several years ago, and even reading it a second time was wonderful. There was even a part towards the end that was so romantic that it has stuck with me ever since reading it the first time, and gave me butterflies all over aging reading it this time around as well. It is definitely in my top ten most romantic touching scenes.
A Touch of Heaven
Regan owns a massage parlor with her mom Caroline. When her mom tells her they have won a home makeover from a tv show, Regan is skeptical and not happy about it. Not wanting to change anything or sell her childhood home. However Regan has no idea how much this makeover will change not only her home but her life.
Sawyer is the host of the makeover show about to work on Caroline and Regan’s house. He was feeling at a crossroads, but was attracted to Regan from the moment he saw her. This story was so good, I am not sure how I haven’t read it before now. I loved the characters and the storyline was different than any other books I have read. There is even a secondary romance going on as well with two of the other characters. A Touch of Heaven definitely had my attention, I could not put it down. It also had all the feels, I found myself very engaged with my feelings as I read along. It was a great story I highly recommend!!
This was one awesome book with two Amazing Stories. Both with lots of feelings and lots of romance. You do not want to miss this dynamic duo!
Exclusive
This was a fun and quirky story and the overall premise was great even if the characters got on my nerves at times. At least they had some redeeming qualities and with the story so well written it all worked out. Taylor is given the story of her career, the only catch is she will have to spend two weeks in Maine alone with a reclusive author in order to get the story. When she arrives in Maine she is met by a blast from the past, Mike, the friend of her ex-boyfriend and someone who had intrigued her that summer in the past. Watching these two get to know each other again but could they survive the interview?
A Touch of Heaven
Fun and sexy and just the right size for an afternoon read. Mom and daughter run a spa and dad and son have a home improvement show and BAM! the two are now intertwined. Mom is selling the family home and wants to spruce it up and while buying paint is approached by a camera crew and told she has won a home improvement. Oh, this does not go over good with her daughter. This was really two romances in one and definitely worth snuggling in on a rainy afternoon to lose myself. I recommend this one!

Do you have that one unicorn author that you automatically one-click? Well, for me, Samantha Chase is my unicorn author. I have been a fan of hers for a long time now and her new release, Exclusive/A Touch of Heaven, is downright outstanding!
In Exclusive we meet Taylor, a journalist that is just starting out her career. Taylor is offered her biggest interview to date with the popular recluse author, Jonathan Wade. Jonathan Wade takes pride in his privacy, so much pride that there are very few people who know what he looks like. When he decides to come out into the limelight of the public eye, his only requirement is Taylor must do the interview herself.
When Taylor arrives in Maine she is met with Mr. Greene, Jonathan Wade’s assistant. As it turns out, Taylor already knows Mr. Greene as they were friend’s years ago. Right off the bat, you can tell Taylor and Mike are attracted to one another. The chemistry from all those years ago is still present and introduces a whole new level to the interview itself.
I instantly fell in love with both Taylor and Mike. The way Samantha has written their story is remarkable. There is not much I can say about Exclusive without giving the book away in its entirety. I can say that you can find what you are not looking for in the most amazing ways. Exclusive will have you hooked from page one and when it’s over, you’ll be craving more.
In A Touch of Heaven, we meet Regan and Sawyer. Regan’s mother, Caroline, is selling her home and Regan is having a tough time coming to terms with it. When Caroline unintentionally wins a home makeover, Regan is anything but thrilled. Throw in Sawyer, the designer and contractor, and you have yourself one hot mess.
I was blown away by the chemistry between Regan and Sawyer. Of course, Regan does her best to fight it but Sawyer understands her more than she cares to admit. I cannot tell you how many times Regan made me laugh with her wit. Not to mention one scene that is just hilarious. There are so many things I can go on about, however I refuse to give spoilers.
The bottom line is this, you will LOVE every aspect of both Exclusive/A Touch of Heaven. They both have amazing characters and a dialog you will love. Samantha has this way to hook you with her words and believe me, you will be hooked.
Very Entertaining! Two great stories rolled into one boxed set! Each story is a different romance and are fun, loving, sexy with a couple surprises. I really enjoyed both these stories!

Taylor has just received the assignment of a lifetime as a journalist for Newslink magazine; an exclusive interview with the reclusive Jonathan Wade!
When she arrives at Mr. Wade’s farm in Maine; she is greeted by someone from her past; Mile Greene. Mike was a friend of Taylor’s high school boyfriend and she hasn’t seen him since she broke up with her boyfriend after she found out he had cheated on her. She is more than surprised to say the least.
Over the course of the two weeks that were set aside for the interview, Mike and Taylor will reminisce about old times, get reacquainted, realize there has always been a spark between them, keep secrets from each other which leads to a parting of ways; and eventually realizIng that it’s never good to hide or keep secrets.
Don’t ever judge a book by its cover, you need to read all the pages to get the whole story.
A Touch of Heaven
This book is really a double love story.
Regan and her mother Caroline are business partners in a day spa called A Touch of Heaven. They share that wonderful mother/daughter bond and love, but they disagree about some things as well…..like the new t-shirts Caroline had made for the spa employees…..design placement is everything…….
Their biggest disagreement is about selling the house that Regan grew up in….it’s too big for Caroline by herself since her husband passed away and Regan moved out…..but Regan has issues with someone else living there. They have finally agreed to paint a few rooms, but then things change dramatically when Caroline wins a home makeover from an HGTV style show while she’s at the home improvement store.
This brings Max & Sawyer Bennett into the ladies lives…..a father/son home remodeling team that are the main parts of the show. Caroline and Max are instantly smitten with each other and while their love story is secondary, it’s still sweet to watch these two fall in love after being alone for such long periods of time.
Sawyer & Regan are instantly attracted as well….but Regan tries to fight it more. She sees Sawyer as the person that is making all the changes that she didn’t want to agree to in the first place. Sawyer does eventually get through her defenses and their chemistry is explosive. But like with any good love story, there is drama, misunderstandings and making up. The author does a great job of showcasing all of these elements and making everything very realistic as well. In the end, Regan gets everything she’s ever dreamed of.
Another great one by Ms. Chase.
You really can’t go wrong with a Samantha Chase book so this one with two of her stories is a sure winner. I read both of these stories several years ago and just re read each of them enjoying them as much the second time as I did the first. This book is a great one to grab and relax with for the perfect escape. I highly recommend it.
Exclusive – Fantastic read with some amazing characters and an intriguing storyline. Author does a great job of keeping the mystery going until the perfect time.
A Touch of Heaven – Fun sweet love story -two actually- about people who knew they were missing something in their life but not sure what. Light, sexy, and fun!

I truly enjoyed reading this book!
It’s a engaging & emotional story.
Taylor, is a journalist. She was just offered an elusive interview with
successful author, who is a recluse.
Taylor was hesitant about the terms,
but this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Mike, is the personal assistant to
author, Jonathan Wade. When Taylor
& Mike meet, they recognize each other from high school. As Taylor & Mike
spend the first week together,
their feelings grew.
On the first day of her meeting with Jonathan Wade, he is not what she expected. In the end, both Taylor
& Mike felt they only used each other,
for the interview.
A TOUCH OF HEAVEN
I adored reading this story!
It is a captivating, sexy & emotional story.
Regan & her mom are on a different page, about selling the family home. Caroline,
is a widow, & she ready for a change.
While buying paint, her mom is offered
a home makeover, done by a popular
tv show. Regan is against it, & her mom’s
is all for it.
The first time Regan meets Sawyer,
the designer/contractor, sparks fly.
After hearing Sawyer’s ideas, Regan agrees to have the home makeover.
Regan & Sawyer can’t deny their
attraction for each other. The producer wants drama between mother & daughter.
Sawyer is not happy where the show is headed. Regan’s happiness is what is
important to Sawyer.
BOTH BOOKS ARE A MUST READ!!!
Very enjoyable and well written duo complete with wonderful characters and happily ever afters.

I really liked this story not just because it was different but I also loved the characters so much. Mike and Taylor knew each other 10 years ago when she was dating his friend. He’s never been able to forget her. He knows she is a journalist now so he puts a request in with her boss for her to come to Maine to do an exclusive interview with his boss, reclusive author Jonathan Wade, on his farm. Taylor is thrilled to get the opportunity to interview Jonathan Wade although a tad nervous to go up to Maine alone. She can’t believe when she gets there and Mike is the assistant who will show her around and take care of preliminaries until Mr. Wade returns from a trip. They have chemistry that is obvious and Mike hopes to get to know her again while she is there but that is simply an understatement. He has never forgotten her and always wanted her and is hoping the feeling is mutual. Can they get over the hurdles thrown at them by the unusual situation they find themselves in and find a HEA together?
This is a fast read but very enjoyable and sweet.
A Touch of Heaven
Loved the concept of this story too! It is also another quickie but such a good story. Again it was a little bit different and that’s a good thing in my opinion. Regan’s mother Caroline meets Max in the hardware store when she was there buying paint to spruce up their home before selling it. Max and his son Sawyer have a reality home improvement show on TV and Max tosses the idea out to Caroline. Regan is hung up on not really making many changes to her family home because it is the way her father loved it. She is dead set against doing this show. She just wants to continue to run her spa and not get involved in this. Sawyer and Rgan have definite chemistry from the get-go which is pretty difficult to ignore.
I love the dynamic between Sawyer and Regan as well as Max and Caroline. Love the way things turn out for all of them and what transpires is exactly what I was hoping would happen.
Two books in one!!
Love this author and her!!
Both books are about trust and that’s a hard thing to do. One is about a auth that has never used his real name and no one knows what he looks like. Until he gets a reporter to come to the house to do an interview. But it’s who he picks out, an old friend
Second books is about a min and daughter th at are selling their house and a tv show wants to do upgrades for them so they can sell..Love and trust, and a cute dad and son add to the story
A must read!!
Exclusive;
Jonathan Wade a successful mystery writer who doesn’t do interviews so when he invites a NYC magazine to run a piece on him it’s an unusual event and when he stipulates that it’s only Taylor who writes the piece and that she spends two weeks in Maine with him the plot thickens …..
Taylor has just started her career and this could be the break she needs but she can’t help thinking why her, the reasoning behind Jonathan requesting her is soon answered when she arrives in Maine and is met by Mr Green, Jonathan’s Assistant, she thought she knew the name but as soon as she sees him she realises Mike Green is a friend from her past….but is Mr Green who he says he is ..
This book hooked me from the first page and it left me wanting more.
A Touch of Heaven;
Regan can’t believe her mother is selling the family home and she is struggling to except its time to let go and when her mother wins a home makeover things go from bad to worse and than a hot male called Sawyer arrives to design and supervise the makeover and that’s when things get real messy …
The banter between Sawyer and Regan was perfect and the chemistry sizzling which made this an enjoyable read.
Samantha Chase always draws you in, her books captivate you and her characters are strong and loveable, different plots, different characters but the end is the same beautifully written great reads from the very talented Samantha Chase.
What a terrific combination! Exclusive is about a struggling journalist & a man from her past. Both characters come across as very human with their own strengths & faults. Taylor really seemed like a nice young woman focusing on her career but realizing her life was missing something. Mike came across as clueless & vulnerable. The idea of his plan coming across as something dangerous to a single young woman never crossed his mind. Every time something’s interfered with his plans, Mike reverted to being hurt & assuming it was because of his past. At times, it had him come across arrogant. I enjoyed reading about the journey Taylor & Mike took and what they went through together.
A Touch of Heaven is about a young woman having difficulty with accepting the changes in her life. Her mother wants to sell the family home & wins a home makeover. Regan doesn’t want to see the house changed. This leads to a battle of wills between Regan & the contractor, Sawyer. This story has two romances going on. One is between Sawyer & Regan and the other is, of all things, between their parents. This story is witty, funny & at times, a little sad. The interactions between Regan & her mother are hilarious &, in their memories of the past, sometimes poignant. It’s a typical mother-daughter relationship. The interactions between Sawyer & his father are an example of a more typical male relationship. They think they know what each other is thinking.
Samantha Chase’s excellent character development are apparent in both stories. The plots unfold in perfect timing & lead to wonderful conclusions. They are the perfect samples of her writing to get you hooked for life!
Two absolutely fabulous stories. Exclusive is a second chance romance. A Touch of Heaven is smart and witty. It has a dual couple falling in Love. The relationship between Regan and her mother Caroline is absolutely hilarious. All couples find their happily ever after.
